Well lighted, very organized in sections. Well stocked with merchandise, goes a little past regular hardware store with items outside hardware. I found everything I needed without assistance from an employee. I saw an employee helping another customer and they seem to know the store and was able to make a sale. Checkout was quick and courteous. Rewards card offers perks with just a phone number. Prices seemed on the high side compared to big box stores, but factor in the trip and 20 minute walk to find what you are looking for, they are competitive. Richboro was needing a local hardware store for years and now they have one.

Staff usually very helpful. I shop here regularly. Pricing competitive with big box. Usually have anything I need without leaving Richboro. I have had all of my window screens repaired. Not every item has price tag.

This store has a great staff. Everyone is eager to answer your questions and they all seem very outgoing. They have a good selection for DIY’ers (Do it yourself at home projects). Everything is organized and in close proximity so you don’t have to walk half a football field away to find what you need. The only thing you won’t find decent prices on is the lumber.

Overpriced, as in 30-40% markup from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Assuming it’s a marketing strategy, as there aren’t any competitors around. I guess you pay for convenience (and for the location’s exorbitantly-high rent prices!)

Horrible customer service. Nobody will help you. Stopped in twice for paint, nobody ever came to counter to help. When I spoke to front desk, they were rude and unhelpful and acted annoyed rather than do anything at all. It's also overpriced. Do yourself a favor and drive to home depot or lowes, this place is worthless.Sunday, the 14th at 1pm and Monday the 15that 11am. Won't come here again.

I am happy with my experience every time I need to pick up something at True Value Richboro. The store is incredibly clean and organized. The staff is friendly, and the prices are surprisingly good for a smallish hardware store in Richboro. I much prefer to shop here than Home Depot/Lowe’s whenever possible.

I had a helpful interaction with a sales associate, Chris Fox, at the RIchboro True Value. He saw me scanning a shelf and came over to ask how he could help. I would have found what I needed but he saved me time by taking me right there. Then he helped direct me to the next thing on my list and swung by after a few minutes with an alternate suggestion and helped brainstorm some solutions to the problem I was trying to solve. Not pushy at all. After I thanked him again, he asked if I’d mind posting a review. Not at all! Small town hardware delivering an excellent the customer service experience and with a comprehensive inventory of most things is what will continue making this the first place I try before driving further away to other stores.

Horrible customer service. Went to purchase Draino that apparently leaked from the bottom, ruining a brand new pair of pants. Called to speak to a manager, that wasn’t available nor returned my call. Made a purchase today and the person checking me out had terrible attitude and told me I could not leave the store until my receipt printed that I politely told I did not need.

SO HAPPY to have the hardware store back in Richboro!!!A one-minute drive is great as opposed to taking up an hour's worth of time to go out to the big box stores...and less stressful!The store is new, clean, stocked and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. While they may not have - everything - I've found everything I've needed there, within reason. I have also made surprising discoveries of things I didn't know existed...without being overwhelmed by 1/4 mile walks back-and-forth in a big land of confusion. :-)

I realize this is an independent store and I am OK with spending 30-40% more for an item, but when I tried to return a wet/dry vac the day after purchase, I was told they would not return or even give me credit for the item. The vac had A very short hose and I broke my back using it the one time I tried.. Apparently, losing a customer is preferable to having to return an item!!😫

Great to finally have a locally hardware store. The store size is similar to other Ace and True Value locations, not on the same scale as Home Depot and Lowes (hence the 4 stars). Consequently selection is more limited. But, and I feel also consequently, you will get far more personal attention to what you need and a willingness to help and order whatever is not in stock.

Well stocked. Convienet for a quick pick up , if you are in ricnboro area. Prices are 20 ' 30 % on avg more than a home center. U pay for convenience, and supermarket style store.

Purchased a 2.7 Amp Master Mechanic Oscillating Tool Kit. Attempted to return for store credit within 30 days of purchase after using the product and finding issues with using it. The velcro holding the sand paper in place doesn't work properly and the paper comes up after merely a minute of use. They refused to accept the return and told me to deal with the warranty. However, this is a product solely manufactured For and Distributed By True Value Company. I also learned also this product has a 1 star review, should have never purchased it to begin with. True Value should take responsibility for their own defective machines. Would have been a simple return at a Home Depot....<<REPLYING TO TRUE VALUE OWNER>>Nope, when I visited your store it was three weeks after purchase, see attached receipt. Also I did state there was a problem with the product. I purchased it for the oscillating sander attachment, the Velcro holding the sandpaper triangles to the machine do not hold properly. After 60 seconds of use they fall off. This is a defect, I pointed this out. Should have been an easy return, instead I’m trying to deal with the Limited Warranty. Called and left a voicemail to customer service, waiting for a return call.

We found this place when we moved here and have been coming in since. It's convenient, selection is good and most important they have a great staff. Everyone's willing to help. Yes, you can save a bit at a big-box store but when you factor in the time and stress factor a neighborhood place like this is the best deal in town.

Bought xmas lights and a tree removal bag 1 week prior to Christmas day. We had COVID hit our household and never used them. The receipt says 30 day returns. I drove 22 miles back to the store today, 1/11 and was told I could not return even unopened or with the receipt. The last day they take returns for xmas is apparently xmas eve!Thank goodness they we’re inexpensive items however the hospitality and location are not going to bring me to purchase anything from True Value ever again. Lowes or Walmart is a better choice for me. As a side note I run a small retail store and due to the COVID and good customer service, our policies for returns are accomodating. Especially with the amount of people on unemployment and in need of every penny. Happy New Year!

True Value is always friendly but definitely different. You will find hardware unique to shelving but hard to find at big box places and then true value will have cpvc pipe, but don't carry fittings for cpvc. I did need dry screws and didn't want to drive to big box. The screws are 90 cents less at true value. This place is worth the look. Even if you only browse. YEP. I'll support my local True Value.
