My dog Beau never liked getting his nails done anywhere. John took him to the back, and Beau trusted him and had no problem allowing him to trim his nails. He loves going back, always excited to see John and his coworkers. Thanks, John, for the great work you do with my boy Beau. I highly recommend this place if you need someone who cares about your dog as much as you do.

I love this place. I like it that they have openings for kitties and you don't have to wait 3 months out to get an appointment. I have a much older cat that desperately needed to be shaved and they gave me an appointment for the next day. They are pleasant and so a great job.

My Dog has extreme anxiety issues. Jon and his crew are excellent at working with my little guy. They are professional, kind and do amazing work very quickly. I’ve used other groomers and Jon is by far the best. Highly recommend!

All I can say is how pleased I am with my cats grooming. Very positive experience. She looks beautiful and knot free. Very kind staff. But my girl looks great. They did her nails and added the tweaks she needed. Only place I will go from now on. I am very pleased and I thank them for doing a great job

Jon did an amazing job with our Magnolia (a Pekingese / chihuahua mix) who is 3 years old and never was groomed before. We got her over Covid and she never got the full socialization she should have so she is always anxious. But when she was done with her grooming session she looked beautiful and Jon said she did a great job. I was nervous for her to go to a groomer but I would absolutely recommend Total Dog to anyone looking for a place to take their little loved ones! We will definitely be back!

My cat groomer had moved out of state and I had to look for a new one. I found this cute little place in Adamstown. So, I have taken my two cats to this place to be groomed. These two cats are very difficult to deal with and I was happy at how easy the process was. Love it here and will continue to keep going here. Michelle has given us some good advice.

This was my puppys first grooming, and the first time at this business. Jon did a fantastic job with him! My pup looked great! I was a little worried because Moose is so small and exitable he won't even let me brush him. He thinks its a game! Jon said he behaved well and is welcome back anytime, so I scheduled his next visit right then. Their prices very reasonable too! So happy I found this place!

Our English bulldog hates to leave the house, and we were nervous about taking her to a groomer. But she was handled with such love and care that she didn't seem phased at all. At this point the short car ride is the worst part for her! Our puggle loves to visit and have her nails done, and my heart is happy that I know she is cared for so well.

My wife and I have been looking for a groomer close to us (Mohnton PA) as our french bulldog is not the greatest traveler. Luckily french bulldogs dont need fancy cuts and all as our Miniature Schnauzer used to need. I found them on google and they were close with good reviews so I called. Just so happened Jon had a cancellation and 2 hrs later I dropped her off for her first real grooming. They were fast, friendly, professional, Busy (Could see them working hard in the window on the dogs) and very reasonably priced. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I think a monthly visit to keep her clean and fresh is the plan going forward.

I have ever left a review for any business but I really felt the need to do so for this one. Supporting small business is so important right now and we found a great one! They treated our dog so so kindly and made me feel totally comfortable leaving him there. When they were finished, they called and told me how great he did and how sweet he was. We will definitely be returning again. And the prices were great too!

I love total Dog &A Little Cat, they are professional and treat your fur babies with respect. So glad we were referred to them by a neighbor, and their prices are wry reasonable . So I f you need a full groom rather small or large fur babies this is the place to go so give them a call and make an appointment!

They were able to fit my cat into their schedule quickly for a "sanitary cut" of her hind end. She's obese and can't groom herself that well.. But they got her all cleaned up back there, and trimmed her claws, cleaned her ears and gave her a nice brushing. She's never been to a groomer before, so I was worried she'd freak out, but they were really easy going about the whole thing, and my cat did great! She looks a lot better now.. Thanks!

My 18yr old daughter took her dog Hazel here for the first time. ..John was very rude to her and unprofessional! Hazel's hair looks choppy! He snapped at my daughter and told her that her dog was covered in fleas and charged her more when that was not the case! He also charged for her for her nails and ear cleaning and did not do this! Definitely will not take her to this place again and friends and family agree after seeing her!
