Just left Weis store. Used the self-checkout. Had not used that type of self checkout before and did not realize the receipt came out past the bagging area. Asked the mature cashier in charge of self checkout for hel, then with an eye roll and a real attitude she told us where the receipt was. This shocked both myself and my husband. Up til this point I liked my shopping experience. She made both my husband and myself feel stupid, because we asked for assistance. Here I was waiting where we paid-because that's generally where a receipt will come out. Assuming the machine might be out of paper, we had summoned help, simply stating that we had not received a receipt. WE ASKED A REASONABLE QUESTION IN A NORMAL TONE OF VOICE. Had we been snotty or demanding, her response may have made some sense....although even then the store employee should answer questions with a professional attitude.Might want to consider training your employees how to treat reasonable customers with respect and preferably kindness. Sadly, Not looking forward to a shopping trip to your store any time soon.

I went to Weis today (April 28 2024) and purchased a box of gogo squeeze apple sauce I got home and just noticed that it expired 10/23! I also purchased made good granola minis and they expired 02/04/24. Very upset with this Weis.

My family and I have shopped there for years.Fried chicken is always hot and ready; sushi is made fresh daily.Staff is always attentive and kind.Tried curbside pickup for the first time last week, and it was an absolute delight 😊

One of the cashiers was not very kind to me when I was checking out. I didn’t think it was necessary to put a bar in between me and the lady in front of me’s groceries because they were a good distance apart. The cashier then starts scanning my items and putting them into her bags. When the person in-front of me said that they were not her items he became frustrated with me and stated that it was my fault because I didn’t put a bar in between the groceries. I was really frustrated with this interaction, and I will not be a returning customer. The lady in-front of me still ended up with some of my items as he was not paying attention to what he bagged. Very disappointed

Okay, the elderly lady that uses a cane sometimes who sits at the end up self checkout, I'm not sure if you MUST work and if so I feel for you, but please be kinder, you are so mean. And if you DON'T have to work and doing it for greedy reasons, please give the job to someone who needs it with a family or pets, because you have embarrassed me twice, you are rude, you are gruff and act like you want to be anywhere but there. Why do you hate life so much?

This wise has good selection of stuff and is one of those little great grocery stores located in Red Lion I typically use the one in York but this one was convenient to me as I was down in Red Lion for vehicle service the store was very clean I was not used to the layout but I was able to get help from a couple of people who work there who were very helpful and able to point me in the right direction

The general manager John need to not in customer service. Extremely rude. He was in the produce area when I asked him for help; he walked away got another employee and said to him can you help her. He did not acknowledge my presence or even make eye contact.

Stopped in for a few things and ended up with a cart full...Several clerks were ready to assist me as items were marked buy one get one but only one was available- The famous Sweetzels Spiced Wafers go fast and Alfresco sweet apple chicken sausage. 3 different employees ran around looking for more but to no avail -overall friendly experience. The store is nicely decorated for fall with pumpkins, arrangements, balloons, door mats.

I came in 5 minutes before closing time and had a hard time finding some items because I don't shop at the store often. The staff was very helpful and told me to take my time. It was great customer service. 👍

I have a Weis Market shoppers' card and have used many Weis Markets in the three State Area for many years. I also shop sale items and use multiple grocery stores to get what I need when others are out of stock or in short supply. I recently stopped at this Weis Market because the Giant Food Store across the street was out of three common items I normally buy on a weekly basis. I dropped by Weis Market on the way out and they had all items in stock at a competitive price. Thank-you Weis Market for items I needed.

I ran into Weiss to get a few items yesterday. My son lost my Weis card recently. Weis employee Sue was so helpful. First, she helped me self scan, then she took me to customer service desk and helped me get a replacement Weis card.Awesome service!

I shop at your store after being not happy with Giant. However I am disappointed when I now go to your store there is only one cashier checkout all the rest being self check out. Today there were 2 other ladies in front of me and we were all handicap and would not be capable of checking ourselves out. Very disappointed at this situation. Weis Markets is regular grocery store. It has all the normal food staples you need. It does an organic section. There's a store pharmacy for doctor prescribed medication and over the counter medications. It has a general pet food section, granted it's not a pet store like Petco. The prices are on par with other stores like Giant. Parking is close and convenient. Sometimes they are out of specific items or not commonly used items. Store has a public bathroom and is very clean. The store has a hot/cold deli and alcohol, beer, wine, etc. section. Overall, I'd recommend it. Staff is nice and there's self check out or cashier check out.

Got my daughter to get dog dipersfor my dog. She got the wrong size.Went to take them back the next day 6/13/23 at Redlion Cape Horn. LOL they don't take em back since COVID.Humm they must be extra cautious at that store. Umhmm with their money. Come on Giant I hope you're people made it past middle school.

bought 80$ worth of meats because "giant"meat is inedible rubber they can have "todays table". So I gave weis a try. opened fish, it was spoilt i my son walks over from 20 feet away and goes what's that smell. bacon is a weird color we never seen before, simple ground beef weird color, so why risk the pork chops ? we decided nah we are not trusting any of it, threw all 80$ in trash 3 days after purchase. even though it's more of a drive i'm going to jerry's or sues market or henry's for meats these big chains keep selling me spoilt or terrible quality product.

This is our #1 grocery store. Produce is usually very fresh. Their deli is the best. And their staff is always helpful and courteous. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is their ethic isle is a little lightly supplied compared to Giant. So we still have to go over to Giant to get some of our Spanish and Asian ingredients. But as I said, this is our go to spot.

Weis has the best ethnic collection available whether we are looking to plan for Chinese, Mexican or Italian we are able to find a huge selection there. The only thing missing is they seem to no longer have ground sausage - which was amazing wherever they used to get it from and perfect flavour for making a great Zappa toscana copycat recipe.

I have been to far better grocery stores. Even the big box stores have a better service than this store.First off, I was buying wine for the weekend and never in the store (at eye level) was it posted that I had to pay the wine that I am buying at the cafe, not at the usual cashier. I only knew about it when I was ringing it already. The moment I was ringing it at the usual self check out and everything didn't go? That was already too late, ill will was slowly creeping in... duh!Secondly, at the Cafe, this insensitive associate rung an item twice and never mentioned anything till I ask him about it. Oh wow! Customer service at its best!What made matters worst? The customer service counter can't do anything, can't do refunds, because there was no manager who could address and assist me with my concern. Really? Seriously?I really don't think I will recommend this place. It would be so hypocritical... and I would rather go somewhere else.Good luck, but this place? A simple and stupid 1 out of 5.

One of my favorite local grocery stores. Great customer service and friendly. Not the biggest store but well stocked on favorite items and more. Good location in the Cape Horn area and seems to be a clean store as well. Well definitely return for a few of my favorite items.

A bit more pricey than Giant, but the customer service is 10x better. Every single employee I've ever encountered at this Weis is so friendly. The bakery items however are disgusting. Multiple times now I have purchased prepackaged bakery items and every time I’ve thrown them in the trash because they were so gross tasting.

Awesome place !!!I just called in to ask if they had TGIF loaded potatoes skins in stock....We just learned how to make our own fresh from baby reds yum...But in a pinch the TGIF work... if your lazy ...Anyways called in and they went and checked... yes in and told me locations and price check !!
