Trash!!!!! If I could give no star I would. I’ve been trying to pick up a prescription that was called in yesterday from the doctors office and I’m still unable to reach any staff at the store. At the counter or pharmacy spent 15 minutes on the phone being redirected over and over. Only for me to call back and for someone to hang up!! Went to pick up my prescription the line in the store was extremely long and the drive through had cars backed up all the way into the parking lot. This is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t even want them to fill it anymore. It never fails this place and the staff just get worse and worse.

Terrible communication with the staff and website cause my intention of coming to this pharmacy was for a covid vaccine shot for my child. This pharmacy was the only one in my area that had a booking available for Nov 30th 2021. Their website said there was an available slot but the link sent me to a January booking. I called the store about this situation and the lady on the phone said it was okay for us to come in so she asked us for the child’s name and birthday. We complied and she said that we could bring the child in and she left a note for the remaining staff that my child would be coming in for Nov 30th. I got there and they told me they received no such thing and that they only do booking appointments due to a limited supply for children. I get that but your website was misleading and I told them that whoever it was that I spoke to said it was fine. They disregarded my claim with a rude and impatient attitude and just brushed me aside to get with the next guest. I tried to request to speak with a manager Andrea but the manager refused to step out of their 4x4 cramped office to speak with me so instead she sent her lackey associate to speak for her. She said that it was okay for my child to get their vaccine shot through the request of Andrea. For the 3rd time!! I had to come back to the pharmacy counter and told them that Andrea allowed my child to get their vaccine shot but even through the request of the manager, the pharmacy staff STILL refused to give my child their vaccine shots even through the approval of their manager. This is not only a terrible customer service but it was also in a way, kind of, an insubordination!I would try to disregard this because I understand what’s it like working in retail for the public, but this experience felt really infuriating for someone that tries not to ruin my experience or the staff in customer service transaction. Either way, it was a waste of my time, but I was glad I wasn’t going to let these people stick a needle in my child at such a depressing atmosphere with rude staff. This pharmacy was located in a ratchet neighborhood with some questionable customers walking into the store. Mind you I got cut in line by some fat bimbo who couldn’t tell where the line was.

The women at the pharmacy like to threaten people and go back & forth with customers. You know it’s bad when you have a whole video of all the womne in the back making threats against someone’s life to the point where you need to defend yourself back because your life is at risk. They talk horrible things in Spanish thinking every customer doesn’t know Spanish. Threatening to see you outside, saying they’ll remember your face , and even speaking about your private information regrading your medications to other people. Which is a violation of hippa. They have nasty nasty mouths and I’m glad I have the video for this. Something happens to a customer after their threats they are most likely responsible. Reading is rachet.

I receive a text and email and a phone call letting me know that my medicine is ready when I get there and it's not done the people that work back there have a really bad attitude and if they know a person they let them go in front of us even though we are waiting in line there's always something wrong they have a drive-thru and is always closed they don't keep up with the medicines there are people who really need it like high blood pressure people and is always an excuse and shouldn't be no medicine they are waiting for weeks that's the reason I'm leaving that particular spot

We went to the pharmacy to get our covid booster shots because it says on the website that you can walk in between 2-3 to get the shots without the appt. The people behind the glass told us we dont do it without the appt. I told them but it says on the website, and thats when they said “they can say it on the website, but we dont do it” i can’t believeit! Never going to go back to this branch again.

For the most part I love all the employees and really love the great discounts and bargains! I wind up spending most of my money here! Except for one or two people,(a couple of the managers, one in particular) the staff is great! They are courteous,friendly and put up with my late night shop-capades,lol. The one problem that is turning into a big issue is that when I see a product I need with a yellow 'SALES' ticket in front of it, I'll add it to my cart. That doesn't seem like a problem now does it? Well, in checking out at the register the price doesn't reflect what the ticket in front of the item was, as posted. We're all looking for the best deals and bargains,right? For one thing though, I DO NOT like, especially from someone that I don't know and who happens to be one of the managers( she's almost always in some sort of 'superior' to everyone mood), to be called "Lady" in a patronizing tone. In attempts to have everything done and wanting to walk out of the store precisely at the moment the store closes, the next week's sales tickets are put out and displayed HOURS before the store closes. This consequently causes confusion because items are not the price it's showing. Is it the customers responsibility to check the ultra fine fine print as to when the ticketed prices are effective? I'm there to shop and get good deals and I shop there A LOT. I had finished my shopping but before leaving saw another GREAT deal. So I thought. I walked home and got more money and walked back. In the circular, there were items marked buy one get one free and in front if the item,it was marked way down with their yellow SALES ticket. This is where I was talked down to. The manager kept trying to explain to me,Lady, this price doesn't start til tomorrow. The way I see it is that since the price is out and catches your eye, it's not my responsibility to check the sales tickets fine print. I NEVER would have spent the amount they were asking for these products but being that they were on sale AND at buy one get one free, that was a really good deal and it should have been honored. What are your thoughts about this? Doesn't it go how the saying is,"The Customers Always Right"?My other issue is with another manager who is either lazy or just doesn't know what she's talking about in saying Halloween product wasn't on sale like the rest of the Halloween items were and that that one item was being sent back to the manufacturer. That was totally false, as I went back the following day and low and behold, it WAS on sale with the rest of the Halloween items. Lastly, there was so much on my card that I was going to use and had checked the amount on the card right before going to Rite Aid, but upon checking out,was told there was zero balance on my card. I tried explaining to her that she had to put the amount in herself manually since the total of the bill was greater than was on the card. Please state your thoughts on this. This is really bothering me. Thank you 😌

This place is not to great at filling prescriptions. But I do love to use my discount card, because it really saves me alot of money. One thing is when I had prescriptions filled here I was told it would be a 2 hour wait and they weren't even doing anything just standing there talking and eating. They aren't very friendly either.

They should just close this location, I feel sorry for the rest of the workers who truly fulfill their duties but the pharmacy is the worst and give the entire location a bad reputation.

Highly recommend going elsewhere for your prescriptions. The wait is always insane and their people skills are lacking.Don’t even try and call because no one will answer.

I would've given 5 stars for the hours and friendly staff but I've been calling the pharmacy for 2 days now to fill a script and yesterday they picked up and just hung up then after multiple calls left me on hold 30 mins til I hung up.today multiple no answers again and they pick up and just hang up.very rude to do that and for 2 days.id even rather them say can you please call back later than just picking up and hanging up.ive been going there for years and this is definitely a big difference to usual good service.i wanted to update that the staff are still amazing in person but the pharmacy has just stopped answering the phone.i call for things all different times and days and they just let it ring.terrible when people need information

5 stars given for only the store; I get my prescriptions filled elsewhere. I shop here when items I need are on sale & I save a lot because I use my rewards card & coupons. This store is conveniently located within walking distance of my residence.

This is my second time having a problem with them first with John and now they can’t answer the phone when I am trying to see if the order my doctors put in are there and ready. The fact I got hung up on and now I’ve been calling to keep getting sent back to the service directory.

This place is horrible. The wait is almost always over an hour. Once I was told to wait 2.5 hours. Just yesterday my friend went to pick up a topical cream for an infection in his toe and they guy said it would cost $160! For one tube of cream! His doctor said she called to make sure insurance covered it before she prescribed it. Went to another pharmacy, NO CHARGE. This place is a ripoff!

Sat in the drive thru for over an hour just for them to ignore me while I’m sitting at the window when all it takes is 1 minute to get my refill instead they don’t even acknowledge the fact that your sitting there ringing the service bell. This place should not exist. Extremely rude staff. I was given some one elses medication. When I show them there mistake they then tried pinning it on me. I laughed and said please explain how this is so if your the one that gives the medication to its customers.

The worst rite aid in Reading. The people at the pharmacy are absolutely horrible. They all need to be trained on how to deal with customers. Go to the one on Lancaster Ave. Very professional.

I mean the store is good for what it is the location is horrible I've seen many accidents happen there people fly through the light and never give you a chance to get out of the parking lot also mostly one way in and one way out which makes it difficult to get speedy service
