I went today on my lunch and the staff was so kind. From helping me find a product I was looking for to the cashier that checked me out! I don’t remember his name but he was so kind to my socially anxious dog. Thanks so much guys

I love this Petco store. I could spend hours just roaming the cat section. They have plenty of items that I can spoil my baby girl, Skittles Marie. I love cats, and Petco loves cats! ❤️

Store is small, but usually have what you need.The young individuals running the show last night were pleasant and helpful. The employee scrubbing the fish tanks was very kind and helpful.

I wanted to buy two hamsters, and the person in charge asked the manager if I could buy them. The manager said no because I needed a large space to put them. I have a large tank about the size of 10 gallons, and she said it was too small for a hamster and that they grow to the size of a guinea pig, which is a lie. Anyway, she didn’t want to sell me any. Apparently, she wanted me to buy a new tank there. And it was for my daughter’s birthday gift. My daughter left the place feeling sad. I won’t return to this store.

I was not happy this time. They did not have any sales for bird food and I wanted two of the same kind of bird seed. I ended up getting two different kinds. Then I get to the counter and the lady tells me when I ask for a bag to carry my items out that the bags cost $.10 . I said what this cheap bag costs me money. She said I will give it to you this time but next time it will be ten cents. Not a Happy experience for.me at all.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. And the fish were healthy. As a matter of fact I recently to That fish place in Lancaster and I purchased some fish there and within a day they all died. I've been keeping fish for many years and this never happened before. The fish I purchased from your store were healthy and happy

I was enrolled in Vital Care Premier by an employee, but I do not recall them ever telling me about it being a yearly commitment. Very sleazy. You're not getting $26.49/mo out of me for 12 months. This is not how you do subscription/membership services...

Was getting a Betta. Very nice young lady there named Emily made sure I had everything I needed and gave me a bunch of tips and good advice so I could be sure my fish stays healthy and lives a long time. Very good customer service!

Honestly everytime I go to this pet store I have a blast. The employees are magnificent and I love how they they love on my Staffordshire terrier named Obi-Wan. As soon as I say PETCO he's through the door and waiting by the truck. That's a 5 from me and a 5 from Obi!

Editing my review from a 4-star to a 1-star. I always appreciate the folks that work here and they do a wonderful job grooming my dog, but jeez, the animal conditions are harmful and quite frankly, gross. I'm sure that this is not the fault of the folks working there, but those in corporate, so I'm addressing them - you are torturing animals, namely guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. It's just so depressing to see these animals in small cages and their only hope is for somebody to come in and "save" them. You are praying on your customers rescuing animals from yourselves. Petco's decision makers - you're gross. Shoutout to the folks at my local Petco who are great - just hate those in charge with a passion.

People are nice. BUT WAY OVER PRICED. They gotta make money, but there should be a limit. But i guess inflation gets past on to us. This is my opion but if you have money the store is clean nice and big selection.

Staff is super friendly and willing to discuss / explain anything you have questions about. Besides that, it's a Petco. It's got a big ole variety of animal stuffs.

Groomer Chelsea did a fantastic job on my newly adopted rescue! It was Winnie's first time and she's already skittish, but Chelsea was so good with her and made her feel safe and comfortable. I mentioned to Chelsea I'd like to keep some length on top of her head because we like to play with her hair and make it into a little mohawk, and when I picked Winnie up she had her hair styled in a mohawk and looked so cute!

I don’t shop here often but my trip to the store last night was a frustrating experience. They built a vet center on the right side, so there is a very disorganized maze-like flow to walk around and shop. I wanted to use google maps to find my way back out. I found myself having to squeeze by multiple displays trying to find my way to and back from the dog food/treats. It was as if they didn’t know where to put things. Displays were everywhere. Gone are the clear aisles. I can’t imagine if a larger person were to try to navigate the store. It’s a mess, looks horrible, and was not a nice shopping experience. If the layout is to deter stealing, I would get better cameras or a security guard. Also FYI..they charge you .10 for a bag, which I didn’t know ahead of time, after I approached the register with a bunch of small items that were hard to carry.

This is our first visit to this store. We used to go to the one in Middletown, Delaware. So far, the staff is great, and the store is clean and well stocked. We will be many times as we have just picked up a new puppy!

Charging customers for bags after they paid for your products and chose your store over another pet store is just bad business. I understand costs are up so bury the cost in product merchandise. Add on to this while I was in the middle of a deep conversation with a representative about salt water fish another customer asked if there were additional associates to help her and the rep that was helping me left to go find someone. What’s the difference if you leave me to help her or leave to find someone to help her. We were in a conversation politely tell the other customer she will have to wait or she needs to find another associate. No more Petco for me

The employees were great helping me find what I needed for my Panzer after a real bad day for us. Panzer was super well behaved in the store & was eating up everyone wanting to pet him. He was almost a celebrity. Lol 😁
