I showed up an hour before closing on a Sunday evening of President’s Day weekend needing four sets of breaks and rotors replaced on my daughter’s car. Unbelievably, they got all the work done in that hour and sent us on our way. That’s astonishingly great service and earns a five star review from a guy who rarely leaves reviews. Well done, Pep Boys.

Truck would not start when I went to leave work on Thursday. Since it was Easter weekend I wasn’t confident I would be able to find a repair shop that would be open Good Friday or Saturday. I called Pep Boys and the said they would begin service as soon as I had the truck towed to their location. Within minutes of the truck being delivered they started diagnosing what the issue might be. They communicated with me via text and phone call throughout the process. Repairs were completed Friday which was allowed my family and I to fulfill our weekend camping plans.Can’t say enough good things about the staff at the Reading, Pa location.

Quick and reliable service...decent prices...difficult to locate, at first...but once you've been there, it's simple! We recommend this Pep Boys location to all of our friends! It's nice to have a place that you can trust to bring your car. We got all four new tires on one of our cars and they offered us the fourth one free. Great deals AND excellent service!

I had a fantastic experience here at this Pepboys. Everyone is friendly and made the process seamless. I made an appointment online ahead of time for an oil change and it was easy to drop off my car, enjoy the local Fairgrounds market until I got a phone call & text notification. Pepboys system is nice because you get a clear report of what they have done or inspected. They touched base with me regarding what I'd like to proceed with and the pickup process was very smooth. I already look forward to having the same experience for my inspection and tire changes. Highly recommend!

This was my second time having tires installed on my automobile, and in both times I had to take it another reputable tire shop to pay to have my tires rebalanced. This time, one tire was 2 oz out of balance and the other tire 1.25 oz out of balance, making my automobile shake at highway speeds. The second issue was that Priority Tire indicated that the cost to install was between $20-25 per tire, I was charged over $35 per tire. And third, it took about an hour to install 2 tires when it should have taken 15-20 minutes because of their "Curtesy Inspection" which I did not authorize. It's like calling an electrician to your home, but he takes liberties to inspect the toilets, HVAC, plumbing, insulation and so forth without authorization. Very unprofessional not to ask for authorization. My experience on both occasions has been extremely poor.

I had a great experience with this shop. My car needed new tires as my previous ones were worn out. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Craig, who helped me out. He gave me details about the options that were available. I also asked them to check my brakes and thankfully, they were ok. Overall, this is a great place to get your vehicle repairs done at, plus they recommended a nice farmer’s market nearby where you can sit and enjoy great food while you wait for your car to get done. Definitely will come back to this place if I need any other repairs!

I ordered tires online and scheduled installation. I called them a couple hours before my appointment to make sure the tires were stocked and they were. They asked if I wanted to come in early to have the work done and I did, so I did. They even got the job done in less time than they estimated. Fantastic job.

Place is great for ordering parts if they don't have it? They can sometimes order it for you and they get there stuff faster then other places. Plus as long as you don't open package and pay debit you can get you money back in cash; if credit then expect to wait. No bathrooms but they do lend tools out. Prices are a little more compare to online, but in the store managers are willing to help give some advice.

I would not recommend this pep boys to anyone went in and got 4 tires put on well they damaged my rims didn't even say anything found out myself now there playing stupid with me and will not give me a claim number then I'm not satisfied with the tires I picked and you have 45 days to swap them out and there giving me a hard time about swapping them out I don't care for the attitudes of the people they have working there.
