Great store with a lot of special buys. We went later at night so most of the bakery items were gone. But for anyone unfamiliar - it is similar to Aldi but with a ton more.

I really liked Lidl. It is similar to Aldi but much more selection. I love all the fresh produce and lots of food options. Need more cashiers as usual.

Lidl, 3564 Penn Ave, Reading, Pa.We usually shop at Aldi for certain fruits, vegetables, bread, fresh unfrozen pizza, swiss cheese and steel cut oats.We  stopped in at Lidl multiple times.It is large, clean and well organized, but it stops there.They have a bakery but prices are EXPENSIVE!Their produce is on the expensive side and does not taste best.We bought some avocados that they prominently advertise, they were difficult to ripen and when they did they were rotten inside.They have more meat than Aldi, but beef is not best cuts and not priced well.They have some items as specials, which are priced well, but they are not carried frequently, some perhaps 2 to 4 times per year, so you cannot purchase these items routinely.Their hardware items were low grade, as was clothing, more like Dollar Store quality.We bought their Austrian wafers, which are very delicate and delicious, but they stock them just a few times per year.We bought some Lean Cuisine frozen dinners, which were well priced, but again it was a rare in stock item at Lidl.Customers told us their ice cream is great, but we did not purchase it.Also, they stock some strange canned and glass jarred items that do not seem to move ever.So, all in all, we were disappointed.  We think Aldi, Giant and Walmart items are better quality, often better priced and typically in stock.But it has been interesting going through the store in great detail multiple times .Our purchases are always few.It seems more of a treasure hunt store than a routine grocery shopping store.

Date of first and last visit: Tuesday 2 November 2021. Stopped in to check it out and I immediately noticed loud obnoxious disco music. No thanks. Very tacky. This is how I spend my Tuesday Night Fever. I bought a few items and quietly left this stupid place and never to return.

Large, clean store with wide aisles and good selection of products. Reasonable prices. Picked up a nice bouquet of tulips during our most recent visit. Being German owned, would like to see a better selection German items on the shelves.

I have been shopping at Lidl since opening day of the store until now. The selection of produce and meats are ideal. It's hard not to buy their delicious croissants from the bakery dept each week. It's wonderful to see familiar faces who are helpful when I have a question. The store is always well stocked and clean. I invite friends to shop here as well.

Lidl was stocked and ready to impress me on my first shopping trip there. The very spacious and clean store offered such terrific options. This is Lidl in Sinking Spring!I was only going in for a few items but the low prices and choices prompted me to fill the cart. This trip saved both time and money which turned me into a happy Lidlcustomer!Finally, my cashier was super friendly and helpful. She even contacted an associate to help me to load my car with a heavy case of water. Anna cheerfully loaded these heavy items and left me as a totally satisfied new Lidl fan! Well done👍

This is a great store very clean awesome staff that makes sure they got their way to help the customers. I love the quality of the merchandise and of course the low prices!! I could not leave this review without recognizing and appreciating the help and hard work from the one supervisor, Ralph. He helped me with selection of merchandise and even suggested other items that would go great with it. He definitely left me feeling good about my choice of purchase today. I thought with the amount of people in the store my checkout process would take some time but the cashier did a wonderful job of checking me out in no time. Again great staff , clean store wonderful place to shop!! I highly recommend shopping here and I will be back again soon!

When leaving the store, my car got hit by the employee pushing the carts. After talking to the manager, he reporting it to corporate and told me I would be called. I never received a call. I called them and left multiple messages and never got called back. Talked to the manager again, and he said he would talk to them and still nothing. Their customer service is useless.

I had a great experience. I Was in line with just a few items and the lady in front of me paid for my groceries. I was surprised. I said thank you so much,but you didn't have to do that, but she insisted. Wow!! There still good people out there. Thank you 😊

Great opening day! There were lots of staff handling & the crowds. Feel completely comfortable. It seemed like all the customers were so happy to have something new and different that everyone was being nice to each other. Of course the first day, everything is brand new shiny and clean. Prices are good & the bagets were still warm.

I'm generally loyal to Adli, and since this store is similar, I like it as well. Most of the prices are lower than those at a typical grocery store, though that's not the case across the board. They have a relatively wide produce selection for a discount grocery and their specialty foods (that I've tried) seen to be good quality. But the real fun is found in the special buys section--I've bought everything from jackets and jeans to power tools at great prices.

I go there all the time. Prices are great, plus they have sales going on every week. You get points when you download their app or provide your Tel.nr. Staff is friendly. And it's not huge like other Supermarkets.

It's good, some cool foods in their such as authentic Belgium waffles and other stuff. Seems a little like Aldi but just a different selection. They need to stop making people tell them their payment methods. The girl in front of me had to let them know she was using EBT, that's a bit too invasive. But otherwise it's good.

VERY clean store, very well stocked. My grandmother asked a clerk about a product being in stock as we were checking out, there was zero hesitation for them to get ahold of another clerk to help resolve it for her. Very quick, efficient and helpful. That's truly appreciated when shopping in this day and age. The meat selection(s) were fantastic, as were the prices. I was impressed, and will return for groceries again!*NOTE:to fellow shoppers who haven't been there yet, 1) This isn't a store where you put the quarter in for the cart (and they're very nice, more ergonomic handles)2) Yes, you need to bring your own bags ☺ 👌

Love me some Lidl. The produce can be sketchy, though the meat, cheese, hummus, and baked goods are exceptional. Well worth a visit. This location offers a wine and beer selection of national brands (e.g. no "Lidl" private-label booze). Worth a visit in a world of too many average and below average grocery stores.

Went here specifically because someone said they had a great gluten free selection. Agree to disagree. This was maybe the least celiac friendly grocery store I've ever been in. Literally had to make a stop at another store because the selection was so sparse. Also had to wait in line forever because only one lane was open.

Great prices and great selection. Very similar to Aldi, only WAY more. Their produce is fresh and plentiful. The meat department is better than the Big stores. Lots of grass fed beef and organic chicken as well as lamb. The only problem I have with the store is the location, its to far from my house!! Maybe a semi monthly trip will be in order. Definitely worth the drive.

Good produce prices, nice and clean, nice cashier but people on the floor were not that engaging. A step up from Aldis. To bad neither is a USA based company.
