DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHELTER. They don’t take in animals unless they are PERFECTLY behaved. They don’t have anyone working with these dogs or helping them. They literally tell their staff not to take in dogs that growl when they first come in.. THE DOGS ARE TERRIFIED.. they are not aggressive. Any dog that barks at people in their kennel is euthanized. It’s disgusting!!!!All they care about is money not helping dogs. Don’t let the brand new building and organized events fool you. They have more staff organizing events then they do actually caring for the dogs. NOBODY is even walking the dogs. The owners of this shelter are disgusting people and I hope they get there karma.

They won’t let you surrender your pet if it it’s not adoptable (aka sellable) they charge people $250+ for adoption on top of wanting to charge $100 for surrender but unless you have a super friendly pet that they can turn around and basically resell then you’re not welcomed. Great! Humane society. More like the animal flip society.

We called a dozen shelters within an hour of us and none could help us with our dilemma. Finally we discovered the Freedom Center. This facility is wonderful, friendly, bright and clean. Highly recommended.

I adopted a dog from this location in December. 1 month after adopting her she went in for an emergency surgery and they found out she was pregnant. The puppies were 1 week shy of being full term so this means Dutchess was pregnant while in their care.They claimed they didn’t know because they didn’t medically evaluate her. As long as the dog looks good there is no need for physical exams. The surgery cost is $3,000 and the Humane Society would not take any responsibility for the fact that they were neglectful in her intake and didn’t realize she was pregnant. In addition to the fact that they told us she was a dog used for breeding before being surrendered. They later went back on this and claimed she was not used for breeding. They also stated she lived with three male dogs when her paperwork only showed one. Everything they told us was inaccurate and did match up.The only thing they were willing to do was refund her adoption fee. When we received the check they spelled my name incorrectly so we have to mail the check back in order to have a new one sent out.This facility is careless towards their customers and the pets in their care. Do not adopt from this place, it needs shut down.I did a photo of our dog and her two puppies so everyone can see I did not make this up. We are thankful Dutchess survived the three surgeries she had and that her puppies were also able to survive.

We’ve adopted many animals over the years here, and I have experiences with this place going back to when I was a kid. They are always helpful sweet and compassionate people, and seem fully competent at doing their jobs.

Basically, not much help for relocations (cats). The pet must be exactly the right age and exactly the right temperament for that to happen.. I suggest making other arrangements. By the way, the ARL is full to capacity with cats right now and they are only receiving strays.

It is a very nice shelter. The staff was very helpful and polite. They made my first adoption ever. Very easy and happy. I'm just Really glad they are Able and have the Means to continue to do what they do to help these little babies get adopted !! ❤️❤️This is a very wonderful establishment. The animals all looked real, nice and healthy. My little girl is very healthy. I would recommend people trying to look at this place as one of their choices to adopt a beautiful little Fur Baby 😺 🐶🐰🐹🐲🐺🐭 💯

The animals are well cared for here - the facilities are clean, and the staff is professional. The volunteer training they provide through the ASCPA and the shelter's own resources is thorough and helpful. I enjoy volunteering some time with these abandoned animals, helping them through their transition to a forever home. And, 97% of the animals who come to the shelter are adopted!

Adopted this little guy there. They were very helpful and walked us through the process. They gave us a discount on his next round of vaccinations, he was already microchipped, and fixed. Highly recommend them.

We adopted our newest member last Friday. She is a year old and is renamed Cora. For the heart shaped spot under her chin. She adjusted immediately and was already snuggling at bed time. :) The staff was friendly and took great pride in all the animals they attend to. Definately proud to have #adoptdontshop

My baby girl got sick and I took her here. The lady was very nice and I was able to make a payment arrangement for the doctor's appointments, prescriptions, and X-rays. The vet tech was knowledgeable and gave me as much information as possible. We still aren't sure exactly what made her sick but I was able to rule out anything serious and thankfully she did come back around and is doing well! Very good service.

Took my dog there this past week. First off the most important thing was they treated my dog well, you can tell these people are here for the right reasons.I have been to other vets where I feel like they don't understand that money IS a factor. Sure I want to spend a few grand on these tests for my dog the problem is we can't always afford them especially when your dog is 11 years old. It's a tough balance to find. That being said I felt like when weighing our options for treatment that was something the vet took into consideration when we spoke. I also felt like my visit was very fairly priced! I paid $130 for a visit, an eye test, a rabies update, and medicine for my dog. I honestly don't know that I've ever walked away from a vet visit with that low of a bill.All in all it was a good experience. No one wants to deal with a sick animal, but taking them to a vet where you feel like their best interest is the focus while keeping the economy in reality is a blessing right now.And finally I was also grateful they got me in as quick as they did. I was offered an appt that afternoon which I find is a harder feat when trying to get into a new vet

My opinion about you, the identities that protect animals, you say that you protect but when you take the animals to your shelters, so they don't suffer on the street, you don't accept them and say that it's full, but my question is, are they supposed to have farms for that because we donate a lot of money to you for that and also food, right now they bring some cats to you and you say that they are at capacity, and they give a list of the supposed places but they do not give an address and you have to be on a waiting list, I see that as a business for you, you don't care about the animals, what you care about is

I took my puppy in to see if he was ready for his shots or not and they were very helpful very polite and if you take your pet there on Wednesday from 10:00 till 2:00 they do shots that day just walk in. they're very reasonable with their prices. They've got the cheapest shot prices that I've seen.
