Grocery Outlet is it good place to consistently find great deals on some common products and also find products that you might not see much of anywhere else.The staff is friendly. The store is clean. The lines move quickly for checkout even when someone has a lot of items in a cart.Some of the deals that you might find are kind of one-time only. Not suggesting that anyone buys every single item in stock when there's a great deal on something you like, but at the same time, you might want to buy more than one item in quantity - because there's a chance that if it's not a commonly stocked item, that you might never see it again on the shelves or in the fridge / freezers.There are a lot of healthy options, gluten-free options, vegetarian options, and vegan products available in store, as well.

the owner is a real cool guy he did this advertisement on fb so we went in to chek it out. they have alot of good products on their shelves not as pricey as the big grocery stores.

This place is amazing. Lowest prices on groceries GUARANTEED. All the food is awesome. The selection is amazing. The owner is awesome and is a really good guy. All the employees are great. This is my new go to grocery store. If I could give 10 stars I would, that’s how great this place is.

I have been struggling for so long trying to save money at different stores (Aldi, Walmart, etc) Chris and brad checked out our groceries tonight and I couldn’t get over the savings. Such a nice store, HUGE savings, very friendly staff. Honestly in this economy I am mad I haven’t found this store sooner. They also do games and prizes during the week. Highly recommend!

Not what it used to be. Hard to find really great prices anymore; some higher than supermarket. Employees are great. Due to change to Latin music all day, now, I'm in and out in 3 minutes. Parking is close-by, store is easy to navigate.

Grocery stores in the Reading PA area are the worst so why should this little hole in the wall be different. It's hit or miss when finding true bargains. The help is not too bright here especially the ones working the evening shift. Check my photos of the tomatoes. They advertise to shop elsewhere to save 20 cents! Stupid people. I hate to be seen there. Stupid music too.Update 12-2017: Always check your receipt. Some items are scanned wrong and it's a waste of time trying to get a refund.Update 4-7-2019: These stores are getting real bad and run down. The cash register did not work and I walked out. The cashier complained that the register problem happened the day before. This location seem to stop carrying a certain item so I drove to Shillington. They have the item but the store is just as dumpy as the 5th Street location. Make me laugh. One does not SHOP at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, one SLUMS at these stores.

I recently moved to Reading from MD. The guy at the register I can’t remember his name but he was the most polite guy I had experienced in a while! He made me feel welcomed. Small things can make all of the difference ima person’s day. I will be returning to shop here again. Great prices!

Both times I visited this location I was unimpressed. Prices don’t seem like much of a bargain, oddball selection, and very understocked shelves. The store was nearly empty both times I was there, and the music was so loud and obnoxious, I couldn’t wait to leave. I would much rather shop at Aldi.

Went there yesterday bought a couple things one of the things were a pack of pork chops when I got home and opened it it smelled rotten also bought some sliced cheese and noticed it had mold. Never going back there again!

Unique selection of foods, a lot for "special" diets..ie gluten free, keto, etc. Great place to find something you haven't tried, make a "special" meal (we did grape leaves, cheeses, fruit, and wonderful box of tartlet horsdouvres) and it was a normal weeknight meal turned into an "occasion". You can also find a variety of house decorations and fun, unique games and toys!

This was my 1st time in the Market, & I found their prices to be reasonable. I stopped in there in a pinch because I wasn't prepared for the snowfall, but they had a great assortment & friendly customers who showed me how to shop for items to get the best deal. The staff could be friendlier, but I am a cool person & the prices were okay, so I can give them a pass on that one....oh yeah, they even have organic items as well.

This is a good store. We drive to this one instead of Allentown. The Allentown store is so cramped. This store is wonderfully clean and organized. Fantastic deals; just make sure to look at expiration dates. That said, plenty of things I've bought here are very fresh.I also love that they have some interesting products you wouldn't see elsewhere unless you'd go to some European gourmet market.
