I was there on Tue ( 3/20/23) and the one black lady that works there must not like white people she was very rude to me and my friend and made us feel very uncomfortable at that place. That was maybe my 4th time at that store since it has opened.. I only went in there to look for a frame and my friend went I there to try that penny deals thing and also for laundry detergent. Well that lady kept walking by us and giving us dirty looks.. I am calling corporate about her

This store sucks! They always either open hours after the posted time or close hours before. Half the staff is extremely unfriendly and the store is always a total disaster. Don’t bother trying to bring in a stroller or come in in a wheel chair because they permanently have carts full of back stock all over the place that they never put away and you 100% will not fit through the isles. The chances of getting completely locked in an isle by carts that customers are having to move themselves to get to items on the shelves is very high. Not sure how they’ve ever passed an inspection 👍

Most people who work there, like many people today, don’t have respect and/or consideration. That goes for customers as well. Store is never organized and everything is all over the place, including boxes. It’s awful!

Stopped on again today at 2 Feburary 25th 2 pm yhe store was all lit up but yje doors were locked. About 10 people tried to get in including a elderly lady walking with a cane. Please FIRE the employees if yhey sre to lazy to workOnce I would have given this a 5 star. But was in the other day and the place is a dump. The cashier was high as a kite. Meand another customer were looking a birthday cards and all of a sudden there was a announcement made "please remove the item you stuck in your pockets we do not tolerate shop lifting and will prosecute" the other giy snd I will very affected. We said something to the high cashier and he just laughed. He said we have to make test announcement because we have a lot if stealing

Love the home decor this particular store always has in stock, but I hate lazy employees, messy store never stocked but product is always there in those huge carts in the back of the store. Never an employee at the register always takes them a good 10 min to check if there is a line while there hanging out in the office with the other staff… I wish the Lancaster avenue store would start carrying the same HomeGoods this store does so I would never have to go there again!!!

Never stocked, aisles stay full with boxes making it impossible to get down an aisle and guaranteed the clearance aisle is never clear to go down..Employees do what they want as far as listening to their phones for personal music and prefer to socialize rather then help customers. Last visit the one employee dropped the F bomb 6 times till I stopped counting..

I love DG! The prices are great and they have all the essentials for a great price but this DG on Buttonwood St is never stocked up. Every time I go for hair products, laundry detergent, bath soap, floor cleaner, etc. they are 100% wiped clean. I just don’t understand if they know they run out of these items before stock comes in why don’t they order enough to last?

They are never open until 10pm, I got there at 9:25 PM tonight and they were already closed, not the first time its happened, but dont bother coming here later at night. They lock those doors early.

Always such a long line. With one cashier it's always a long wait. Store never organized, even the workers don't know where things are. Lastly you find more empty space then product on shelves. Hey it's convenient but it's a hit or miss for items. Cashiers are friendly...

All the parking spaces are too close to each other. I can't even open my door without hitting the car parked next to me. There is no trash bin outside. and no one is ever at the register ready to ring out. I always have to wait for someone to come to the register. Not good.

Very unorganized store!Wrong prices on items but what really made my experience worst was that it was only one person working in the store ONE! the people that were coming in weren’t being checked or count! No control of how many people on the store at all! I saw way too many people i side the store just running inside without any mask on, covering with one hand and then touching stuff with that same hand 🙄 and the Poot cashier who had q huge line didn’t say anything!That is very irresponsable not only the customers without it but also the store 👎🏼 I won’t be coming back to this store!

I went in to grab some last minute items I needed and they was only two registers open & there was HUGE line. Both cashiers seem to not care about the line & took their sweet time. Once we were getting cashed out the cashier was saying negative things about the store and was cursing. I will not be returning.

This store was very crowded. An entire aisle was blocked off with boxes. Most of the shelves were disorganized. This store did not have a set of anything it only had one of each item. I could not tell the customers from the employees for help. Wish it was a bit cleaner.

Worst store I've ever been in they don't have any shopping carts the store is dirty. The shelves are not stocked and there's no one at the register I waited in line for half an hour until a woman came out from the back to start ringing up the customers who were waiting. 2 people just walked out of the store with items. Aisles never clear.Every time I go in there's at least one aisle I can't get down at all cause of the boxes in the way.Definitely have missed out on money I would have spent had I been able to reach the items. Customer service even from management is poor.I will drive the extra miles to another location or visit another establishment just to avoid this location.

Is my go to store since i live three blocks from there, they just rearrange the place so is taking longer to find stuff, but the ladies that work there are very friendly and are ready to assist. So other that the shootings infront of the store, the recent arm robbery and the guy that got killed in the parking lot, everything else is great...fine and dandy

The one girl that was working the register while the other person yelled and cursed at someone over the phone (not a customer). I waited for about 10 minutes in the line and that poor girl had to take care of everyone on her own.

The store was horrible. You couldn't walk the aisle merchandise all over the place. You couldn't shop the shelves because of uboats of totes and rolltainers all over the place. The people there were horrible. I will NEVER shop that store ever again

I like Dollar General but not the one on 2nd and Buttonwood st. Because tht store is always short on staff. And they always have the aisles so cluttered with merchandise and their carts full of merchandise. And they never have wat' u need there. So I just figure it's in the hood so the way it is , is wat ppl are used to? They better off closin' it down.

They always have good deals. They seem to be following guidelines i saw an employee sanitizing carts and baskets which makes me feel safe shopping there.
