We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon. The parking lot was crowded but the tasting room wasn’t as congested as I expected. There was a private event happening downstairs so that explained the lot. We sat at the bar and shared an enjoyable flight of beer. We didn’t eat anything but they do have a good menu. The location is cool - adjacent to a rail trail I think because I saw a couple on bikes riding along the tree line. I saw a sign for goat yoga that was happening later that evening. Their outdoor area is spacious. Out bartender was friendly and helpful. We would return if in the area again.

Great brews, wonderful staff, and the FOOD! 😚 Absolutely amazing!! I recommend whatever the chef's special is! 😊 This place has cute seating outside and a play area for kids as well. Perfect spot for the whole family.❤️ Love when they have live music 🎶 too!

Great place! They have a coffee place in house that is open thru later hours, so you get your caffeine fix during trivia! Drinks were good and my friends had some tasty food with generous portions. Bar seating is a bit limited, so come early on trivia nights!

Great place! Right on the trail in Railroad, PA.Lots of outdoor space for kids to run around. Large indoor area. Beer and food was wonderful. Especially the Reuben. Jason and the Gee Strings were playing and made it an awesome St Patrick's day eve!

This place has a ton of potential but some kinks in service need ironed out. The crew is clearly there to work and not having any fun which is really a must in successful bar service. The beer we tried was great. Highly recommend feta fries - phenomenal. My friend got the chickpea sandwich which was good but difficult to eat as the chickpeas were not smashed in the salad. All their bread is yummy. The pot pie leaves much to be desired, though. Pretty sure it was canned chicken in the pot pie which I can't knock, but the flavours had not melded at all. The biscuits served were phenomenal. The Carolina slaw dog was good but not at all what I thought of as Carolina slaw. The horseradish mustard is by far the best I've had while the beer cheese is very mild and somewhat runny. I certainly will come again. Live entertainment was great, also.

Off the path! I’ll admit, I was a little unsure driving to this place, but it was great. You could probably fit the entire population of the town into the main room. ;)There’s a wide selection of beers. I had a sour based off an Arnold Palmer. It was incredible. They serve food & have a cafe inside as well. The bacon wrapped dates were fantastic.Seating is plentiful. The main room is huge. There’s a rooftop patio, outdoor seating, & a downstairs bar (service only on weekends, but open for seating). It appears they have plenty of entertainment as well. Someone was setting up Monday karaoke as we were leaving.Family friendly. Dogs can come, but they have to be outdoors.

We’ve been here twice for trivia, the food was good but the service was very slow. They need to find a better way of handling the initial rush. Owner tried joking away the wait saying they weren’t prepared but they host trivia quite often. I’m giving the 2 stars for the low quality of their beer. I love a good stout beer but theirs is like drinking a dark lite beer. We tried several and found them all lacking in taste and substance

Great new place in the area. Opened in January 2023. Very good beers. You can taste different ones before ordering. Small appetizers and tasty entrees. Crab cake was very good. Very pleasant open space. Outdoor patio opening soon.

Great location with lots of potential. It is an easy walk to from the rail trail but very challenging to get your bikes across the tracks. Be careful of the many slips, trips and falls on your way.Beer is great, the service is ok and the food is pretty subpar. Hoping this place can continue to grow.

It's a shame because this place has so much potential, but dishonesty in business can only earn a 1 star in my book.I went here for the first time a month ago. Ordered a $7 - 16 ounce beer from the menu. The person at the window handed me a tablet to pay, and it says $8... Oh well, I gave them a $1 tip instead of the $2 tip I was going to. I signed my name, and I waited for my beer... but then, the server brought me my beer in a 12 ounce cup. I told the server that it isn't a 16-ounce beer, and he told me that they ran out of 16 ounce cups. Although I didn't think that was a very good way to do business, I shrugged it off and drank my very expensive beer.Fast forward to today, and I have the same exact experience. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. But, I won't be fooled again. If you are going to charge $8 for a 12-ounce beer, the least you can do is be honest and tell people that you are price gouging them on the menu. For reference, The Vortex about a mile down the street also charges $8 - 16 ounce beer. I paid the $8, I got the 16 ounces I paid for, and they got a 5 star review. The difference between the businesses is that I knew what I was paying for and it was transparent, and they provided the value they promised. This negative review is not due to price, it is about dishonestly and lack of transparency in business.

Beer is good IF you can get one with the long lines because someone didn’t expect a crowd on the first nice day since whenever. Food was awful and the bar staff, I’mSure they were doing their best but between not being able to even run a credit card correctly and ignoring customers, terrible. First and probably last visit, to many options available to pay these prices and be treated so poorly.

Average food (based on my single meal) and decent beer selection (not many stouts). Burger was very salty, but tasty nonetheless. Great bun and pickled onions were a nice touch. There are definitely better burgers and fries in town though.

This is a newer brewery. Went in for the first time. Chill atmosphere with live music. Seating mainly all Hightop tables. There is an upstairs and downstairs with plenty of seating. Great view of the brewing operation on the lower level.Tried the food from Fox and Fern. Had a pulled pork sandwich. Which wasn't what I expected came on bread vs. bun and had a sweeter taste. The sandwich was okay and allitle dry.The food was okay, but it wasn't what we were expecting. The feta fries had good flavor but came deconstructedTried one beer and it was flavorful.I know they are figuring things out as they open, so plan to give it another try.

Space is great. Beer is good. Service is slow -very slow if you're sitting outside. Window and bar line was constantly 5 people deep and took forever. An order of wings is 5 measly wings. I'll come back for the beer when on a bike ride but I can't imagine the wait when it's really busy

“I’m thinkin’ a Double IPA.”“I wanna try the barleywine.”“Biere et frites!!”“le meilleur!!”“a nice view”“and nice people.”overall, I like it and wish them luck.the beer was good, the venue itself is nice and the location (right off the Heritage Rail Trail) is fantastic.the food is a little lackluster though (“plain” is being generous) and too many hard surfaces for indoor music.

This is still a favorite venue, I can't tell you how many folks I've introduced. I need to comment though that a talented acoustic guitarist alone can easily fill your main room with sound but SA 8/5) night I left within 5 minutes. The act was extremely over amplified, I would hope your intent is to stimulate conversation in a social atmosphere rather than assault the senses. I hope the comment is received as it's intended.

I love the beers made by AleCraft brewery. There is a great variety of delicious beers. My favorites are the Crucible and the Fresh Pints of Belair. They have a great comfortable bar. It feels like home! I love this place!

Staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. I LOVE that there’s a coffeeshop inside the brewery - truly options for every single person.Parking is a bit tight - may be due to it just opening within the past month. But, consider parking 5 mins down the trail at the Jackson House B&B and taking the scenic walk over.Mostly high tops, with just a couple standard options.

The best overall brewery around. Open everyday at 12, a kitchen, liquor and wine. Entertainment of various types most nights. Good staff and service. Owners are responsive to problems and customer input. The only problem is that it seems like several customers have had issues with the bar manager. Great outdoor area. PS... The original bar manager has been replaced recently due to other complaints. This has resulted in a better, friendlier environment for staff and customers.

Must stop on the NCR trail, amazing beer, roof deck, outdoor space, and much appreciated AC. The IPAs were all balanced and hop focused and it was nice to see some true to the style options on draft. Will definitely go again, on the bike for sure.

Food and drinks were good but not great value for the money. The biggest problem was on a Saturday night at 8:00 every TV was on an a looped ad for Medicare. When my husband and I realized we were both just on our phones we left. Really boring. They don’t seem to a have direction. Will not be going back.

Our first time at this AleCraft location (we go to Bel Air more often as closer). Love the new location. Beers are always in my opinion the best of our local area and the management of the tap room is awesome. Friendly, very attentive but not annoying about it and do a good job of feeling when to interact and give input on new beers or suggest something new. We will be returning even though this location is further for us by a half hour. It's worth it. Cool outside sitting area and the inside area has plenty of space and is decorated very cool. We always enjoy the staff at the other location and this one is no different. You have to check it out it is a cool place with great beer, they also have a few alternative drink options if craft beer just isn't your thing.

Been here 3 times now. Nice atmosphere outside, inside overall. Dog friendly outside (Love This!). Beer and drinks are great.Food, nah...They need to step it up. Not the worst but would only go here for a beer, drinks and fries personally. Didn't even take food pic's.

Great food and beer. The staff was fun and friendly. All the beers were great, but my favorite was the very smooth coffee stout. The decor is very rustic and cozy. If you are in the area, it's definitely a place to try. I'll definitely be back very soon....

I had my baby shower here yesterday and I could not have chosen a more perfect venue for the event. This is our first child and we had almost 60 people join us in celebration. The staff and drinks at AleCraft and the food from Fox and Fern was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was truly the perfect day that went so smoothly thanks to the incredible team of bartenders!! We did the small plates option on the catering menu and everyone was raving about the food. Thank you so much! We are so grateful!!!
