Nice little shop and the people working there were friendly. The ice cream was not too good. The soft serve had a weird taste to it. The mint was the worst. It might have been one of the worst I've ever had. The black cherry was good. Cost is too much for what is served. You also need to get better cones. Why do stores serve cones with the paper around the bottom. It always gets stuck to the cone.

Late September and surprised an icecream shop is open. :)The girl at the counter was very nice and patient. The size chart I think is only slightly misleading. I figured $6 for a large cup in this economy is pretty alright. Said large cup was about the size of my forearm, no exaggeration! The girl balanced it perfectly!There is a LOT on their menu (which is good for variety). If you’re looking for soft serve chocolate-vanilla swirl/mix, they have it.The way the building is, it’s not an icecream shop that you can enter. Both doors are for employees only. There is a neon sign on one side that says “open/close” without hours posted outside I think, unless I missed it.Tl:dr - the staff girl is nice and the icecream is surprisingly a lot (which is a good thing) :)

I love this place! I frequent it alot over the summer. It's the best local place for soft serve ice cream. There are about 75 different flavors of milkshakes. I always get an avalanche which is pretty much the same as a Dairy Queen Blizzard but better and much more variety. Highly recommend it.

So many flavors to choose from and lots of combinations.....cones sundaes banana sits. They have soft serve and hand scooped ice cream. Their menu is so big you have to see it for yourself. They have shakes and kind of blizzard like concoctions they have Isis I just have so much you always find something new to try. Friendly and fast service. Large tables to sit at and their own parking area. Very comfortable place to stop to enjoy your ice cream and even meet someone that you know. Family friendly too. They even have child size portions.

Always delicious ice cream and Italian ice. I don't have much personal experience with their other food, but have heard that it is good. Friendly staff, and often involved in community events, which I love. If I could change one thing, it would be to increase the number of sugar-free ice flavors available.

Easy access & lots of room to park. Hugh menu for flavors. A little pricier that I'm used to BUT well worth the experience, size & taste. Will definitely go back & try other flavors. Which could take me their entire opened season.

There is a really big variety of things to get and you can preorder things. I love the options they give you and the service quality and employees are always amazing! The ice cream and milkshakes are always so super duper creamy and delicious. The Italian ice is also very delicious, not watery, and not complete icey. I've never tried the ice cream cupcakes but they sound tremendous !!!!!

Honestly, their prices are ridiculous this year. 4 dollars for a SMALL soft serve cone? Come on people! That's bad enough for one person let alone trying to take a family out for ice cream! Where do we as Americans draw the line with this stuff? I mean come on! As long as we pay these prices then the greedier these places get and just keep on raising prices. Learn to say no people! No to the high prices. No, I don't really NEED that 4 dollar ice cream cone. Just say no for a while. If enough people would just say no and stop buying these things that we don't really need, things that we just want and could really live without, then they would have to either lower the prices to get rid of their stuff or go out of business. Come on, its cheaper to go to the grocery store, buy a half gallon of ice cream and take it home and enjoy it with your family. STOP letting these places take us over the coals!!!!!!!

This is a summer go to for locals. They have been around forever. I usually only get Ice Cream which is just your basic soft serve and dipped ice cream. I have heard that their other items are also good. Prices can be on the high side.. just something to keep in mind.

Me and my 4 other friends had went here. We’re all 13 and under. We ordered and were told to wait outside. 30 minutes past and my friend went inside to check on our order. (Keep in mind it was $42.72) They told us we never ordered. After having a few adults confront them they gave our order. It was liquid. I’m very disappointed.

Pretty good ice cream. They have a HUGE variety of flavors for Milkshakes, Avalanches, and Sundaes. It's almost overwhelming! I got the Peanut Butter & Banana Milkshake and it was pretty good with real bits of banana in it.

It's all about vanilla. If you don't like vanilla don't get any soft serves because they're all flavored (your flavor choice) on the outside with syrup. They do have good milkshakes though.

The name of the business is "Sons Italian Ice & Ice Cream" and yet they are always out of the basic flavors of Italian ice (like lemon). Updated (8-6-18) as I was a little harsh with my initial review: The servers are very nice and while I have seen some bad reviews about there ice cream sunday's everything I have purchased has been very good. IMOP there prices seem fair in todays world and the serving sizes are not huge but are certainly better then average. Since this is being updated post business owners response, I would say that had the server informed me that they just ran out or would have it the next day my initial review would have been quite different.

Good ice cream just kinda ridiculously priced. Got two kids size(one scoop) waffle cones and spent $8.50. Maybe I'm cheap, but that's a little much for kids size ice cream.

We just stopped in at "son's" soft serve ice cream in East Pete...I suppose there's only one word that adequately describes our experience..."Unremarkable." They advertise about ten different flavors of soft serve, which isn't especially creamy or noteworthy, and their "specialty" sundaes have just enough toppings on them to be called toppings and no more. Maybe it was an off day, but I ordered a twist of their mocha and English toffee flavored ice creams in a "death by chocolate" sundae, and there was no discernible difference in taste, nor did the chocolate flavors especially pop out at me (as they should with a "death by chocolate" sundae). My wife's turtle sundae had no caramel sauce on it as it should have. Maybe they were just having an off day, but the kid running the ice cream machine expressed to the man at the window that he wasn't sure how to twist flavors other than chocolate and vanilla and the man at the window did little more than tell him he should know what he was doing and didn't ensure that the boy operated the machine correctly. We won't be back. It's not worth $5.50 for ice cream that doesn't impress.

So, I wanted to like this place. I took my kids here for the first time today, and I found it pretty underwhelming. I ordered a cotton candy scoop for one of my kids...the teenaged girl working there came to the window with chocolate, which wasn't really a big deal, since no one is perfect and mistakes happen. So, I politely told her I ordered cotton candy and she whisked off to fix it...and came back with maple walnut. By that time my five year old was getty antsy for his ice cream, so instead of correcting her AGAIN, I just decided to let it go. But, honestly, how do you mess that up twice? Are you just scooping from random tubs and hoping no one will notice?I then waited ten minutes at the window for the remainder of my order. When I noticed all three kids inside were refilling napkin boxes instead of completing my order, I knocked on the window and asked them where it was. THEN they finished my order.The kids who worked there were all very polite, they just all seemed as though they didn't want to be there, and it showed.Additionally, my sundae was...unremarkable. Really, it wasn't very good at all. I never knew ice cream could be bland before, but that's exactly what it was.I don't really see myself going back.I'd like to say it was probably an off day, and I'd like to give it another chance, but I also read some of the other reviews, which were subsequently responded to with anger by the owner...I don't feel good supporting a business that treats its customer base with hostility.
