Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. Merchandise is always very fascinating and works very well. Atmosphere is always welcoming. Prices are good deals for the content for the games. I bought a couple games for my Xbox, along with a Gameboy and some games to go with said system. I've beaten Kirby's Dreamland and though I've yet to beat Ducktales or Tatanga in Super Mario Land, I always enjoy playing them. I would definitely recommend this place if you have some vintage games you'd like to play for the first time or play over again.

Me and my dad come up here from time to time and it's always great. The owner is very funny, friendly, and knows what he's talking about when it comes to games. Prices are good and have a wide selection of games, consoles, and all the weird stuff the game companies have released over the years. No matter who you are you'll find something you love here. The atmosphere is great too with multiple tvs with various consoles, old gaming decor like stuff they show in stores and such. Overall this is a very friendly places with something for everyone. If you're near here, definitely check it out.

They not only have everything you need related to gaming but also in store games you can play including old school arcade games!! Always new games coming in! I have recently been trying to get all of my old consoles and games fixed that I've had since I was a child and had no luck finding a reliable place. Once I moved to Quakertown, I researched and found Doghouse Gaming! I went into the store to see their stock (which is massive) and talked to the employees to see what they could and could not fix. They were so friendly and helpful. They said, "If we don't know how we will figure it out." That was very encouraging! Everything I brought them has received the white glove treatment and I'm very happy with my new and improved stuff. I look forward to bringing my business to them in the future! My family loves this shop. The owner is so sweet, knowledgeable and personable. He always has games set up to demo and my son loves playing and chatting. They buy games and gaming systems as well as selling them. Such a great local place.

Terrible business practice. The owner does not honor the return policy that he created instead he wants to make up “rules” while I’m standing there after hearing something different from his employee. I was offered less than half of the price I paid for the product in store credit, after I ask why he begins to argue with me in the store I felt very uncomfortable. I ended up taking my product back home he was very unprofessional. Would not recommend any business be done here he is not a man of his word and likes to take advantage of customers.

I have been here a few times and I enjoy getting to see the huge selection of games and consoles. People there are friendly. Expect to pay price charting prices or higher. Some of their stuff is in such good condition it might be worth the extra cash to get to see it in person instead of buying online. I'll keep coming back when I'm in the area.

One of the nicest small businesses we have ever visited! The owner is incredibly welcome and really knows his stuff. I was very impressed because he enjoys having my son ask different questions. When we have gone into other video game stores, no one can ever answer our questions or seem to have time for us. It was totally the opposite here. We were not pressured to buy anything. The old systems that are available to play in the store are great for younger kids. We will definitely be back!

They just have basic, easy to find games. Tons of PS2 and Xbox 360 but like 4 GameCube games. Barely any Switch titles, same with Gameboy. Guy behind the counter looked like it was an inconvenience that I was asking about the GameCube games so I just left.

Nice people....a little flakey though so make sure you have everything. Was told a product was 70 but then I ended up spending 180 with two games for some reason....and the sensor wasn't in the box. Still a better bet than most considering...

I haven't had the time to write a review so apologies for a lateI love this place it feels like my.moms basement when I was a kid. They have a decent selection and the service was awesome made me and .y daughter feel like we could stay in there for hours the two gentleman behind the counter were helpful funny courteous and answered all my inyear Olds silly questions she is mine so I can say she can be a pain lol but they were amazing we will be going back definitley we lurchased a videl dragonball z pop and a chocolate Majin buu pop we' love them

one of the best places to buy retro games from.he 100% makes sure all his products work. he will even open any Nintendo game to make sure its legit. i don't get to go here as often as a i like but when i go to a retro game store i drive a hour and a half to here because its just that good.finding a good retro game store like this that you can trust is like finding a good mechanic you can trust.

Been going to Doghouse for a couple years now, and have always had a good time. Store owners is knowledgeable and passionate about video games. I’ve visited a couple times literally to talk about the video game market and the fluctuations in it and about games we’ve played versus buying. I always try to pick something up, and usually they have something I’m looking for or is interesting enough to pick up. I enjoy the new location because he has a storefront to really show off what he has, and it’s the go to in the area now.

Cool little store right in the heart of Quakertown. They have all types of video games for any console you might own. They also have alot of hard to find video games as well. Its definitely worth checking out. And the prices aren't that bad.

Their new store is an amazing transformation and great improvement over their original location. More spacious for new products, friendly staff as per usual and eye-catching displays outside the store. I am very pleased with this and I highly recommend Doghouse Gaming for anyone who has a gamer in their life.

Will give two stars cause the guy at least is nice…But I bought a ps1 game. It was taped closed. Get home, open it up, just a printed piece of paper for the manual. Bring it up to them and I’m told “yeah it would have been more money if it was complete”What? How was I supposed to know it wasn’t complete? It was taped closed. Moral of story is never walk out of there without checking everything because they’ll getcha. Lesson learned. Will not return.

The new location is really cool and I’m glad it’s available outside of the q-mart. More local game stores is always great!
