Stopped in to finally see Phil. He was in. Do know however, that if you are coming to see Phil on groundhog Day, you have to go to Gobblers Knob. This is where he hikes to the day before the big event. Once the event and the weather reporting are complete, he makes the trek back to his burrow at the library where he and his wife Phyllis remain until the next big event.

I have been to Phil's Burrow several times through the years. This visit I did not see Mr. Phil, but have in the past. It is a spot to see.I would recommend going when the library is open, I feel it is a nicer view, but either spot is somewhere to visit.Phil might be sleeping, eating, or checking things, He is neat to see in Punxstawney.Your visit will all depend on the day and time visiting with Phil. You might be lucky and see Phil walking around.

It was great being able to walk right up to Phil& Phyllis burrow my husband & I had fou taking pictures with all the Phil's, we thought we had them all till we got the map ,so hopefully next time the family will be with us & we can have a Phil hunt ,went to goblin nob which is not even 10 mins from Phil's burrow ,can't wait to come back

Our first time to the area and a great item to knock off the bucket list…meet Phil! Since I was a kid, this was something I always dreamed of doing! I had no idea that Phil would be right there in eye view for all to see! This “celebrity” and his lady were having a bit of lunch when we visited, but welcomed us with a quick glance. Anyone visiting the area must stop. What a cool sight to see!

It was cool to come back and see the Weather Capital of the World & Mr Punxsutawney Phil himself. It's been 30 years since I've been back to see him as a child!He must have recognized me because he came right to the front of the glass to give me some great pictures 🤣

Neat to see Punxsutawney Phil and wife Phillis. The hutch is visible from inside the public library or from outside. Gobblers Knob is a couple miles away up the hill with a nice visitors center.

Awesome place. Phil and his wife Phyllis are both here. It is the library and you can go inside to the children's section and see them from there or outside like in our pictures. The whole town has painted Phil's all over. It is unbelievable and a must see if you are in the area.

I stopped by a little after 8pm. I would say the hours here are 24 hours a day but perhaps sunrise to sunset would be better for viewing Phil. His Burrow and viewing window is on the exterior of the library, Phil was curled up in a ball and then laid on his back for a nap... hopefully it wasn't his last as I thought he may have passed right before my eyes.

Parking to see burrow is no problem at all. Burrow is in library. But can be seen through glass if library is closed. Also see several Pansatawny Phil statues within walking distance from burrow.
