During my last visit, the manager on duty, Kim, was on her phone the whole time I was there. She was not helpful, and ignored me when I asked for help with locating an item. She seemed snippy with me and the other customers. There seemed to be no urgency or want to do the job efficiently. Things seemed much better when the nice friendly young man worked there. Now the store is just a mess. I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

Once overheard a worker mocking a customer in a racist tone after the customer had left the store. Boxes, trash, and other items were scattered throughout the store, and the employees there at the time were quite rude. Other times the employees I have run into there have been very nice, so it was a shock to walk in and see and hear what I did.Other than that, good place to pick up quick items if you don't feel like running to Wal-Mart or another bigger store.

Got a Christmas present for some one and stopped in to return it cause it wasn't the type that thay wanted and payed cash for it and had the slip and the manager would not give money back went to another family dollar and thay returned the item and got the money back

Only gave a 4 star because Punxsutawney Family Dollar seriously needs to have a training for friendliness! However, the Mahaffey Family Dollar is awesome!! I visited both today and Jim in Mahaffey was awesome as usual!!

The young man that works there is fantastic, he always greets you, smiles , and after checking you out, if no one is at the register, he opens the door for you with a smile. Very friendly and a sweet young man.

Terrible service, cashier ignored me so I left my stuff on the counter and walked which has happened several times so never going in there again
