Huge furniture and clothing sections. New items brought out weekly. Friendly staff and quick service. Only downside is the prices have gotten a little high lately. You can find Greta deals though, I got a nearly brand new wine cabinet.

Prices are out of control here now, just as they have been at their Collegeville location for years. $40 for dirty used seesaw, $70 for old coffee maker in banged up box just because they claim it's new?! They get all this stuff for free! Only highlight is most of the employees are pleasant but the insane prices need to be reevaluated.

I love shopping at Liberty but there pricing has gotten outta hand lately...stuff costing more than the ticket value at the store bought new... almost zero clothing under 5 dollars an item. I thought it was supposed to be an affordable option for those who wanted to save?

Love this location! It’s always clean, organized, and well-laid out. So many good items to choose from, from clothes, to housewares and dishes/cookware, to decorations (daily & seasonal). The employees are always really friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend for anyone looking to save some money and do some thrifting!

Not my kind of stuff but I'm sure if your looking they may have something for you.I remember when this used to be KMart as a kid I got a lot of stuff here. Also remember DJ Trump shopped here for his kid going to The Hill School.

They are a non-profit operating off donations, but their prices are ridiculously high! Some things I came across are just a few dollars less than retail! There are some bargains, but not enough to consider this is "thrift shop". Their prices have been getting worse through the years, but as far as I know, their status as a non- profit remains the same. Probably should consider significantly lowering prices. If you look at the reviews from years ago to now, they went from 4&5 star to 1&2 star! All because of over pricing and less than acceptable merchandise... So if current owner and management won't lower prices, maybe you should get new ownership before losing the business! Word travels fast!

I’m posting this one star in hopes that all of the low ratings will make the decision makers rethink the direction. I actually LOVE Liberty BUT your pricing has ruined the buying experience. I have to agree that quality has gone down on a lot of things yet the pricing keeps going up up up. As an avid thrifter, this is a problem across all Liberty locations. Overpriced donations and not much less quality in what you sell. We (consumers) understand that the economy has changed over the past few years but this is grossly overpriced. I’m sorry, I hope someone rethinks this.

At the suggestion of the ladies working at the Liberty Thrift & Home Furnishings (in North End Shopping Center), I decided to check this location out. Let me tell you...this place is HUGE and is stock with everything and anything that you might need.If you are looking to get your step count for the day and do some great thrifting then I recommend that you check this place out.I found nostalgic items, office items, furniture, kitchenware, and DVDs. I didn’t really have time to go thru the clothes because there are racks upon racks of little treasures.I hope that the pictures give you some ideas about how much they have in stock.

If you buy books or board games, it's worth the trip, otherwise I don't recommend this place because it's too pricey for a second hand shop. Some of the things they sell should be put out on the sidewalk for garbage collection because it's not suitable for sale. Books are super cheap though, most are only 75 cents and they have a huge collection of them.

We love shopping at all the Liberty stores but this is our fav since it opened. It's huge and we love all the treasures we find there. My husband thinks this last find was trash and I turned it into a treasure. Love it. Please call them to pick up all your large donations including appliances or drop off at one of there 5 locations in SE PA. You will bless many people including yourself.

Much larger store than many other thrift stores I've been to. They have a great selection of furniture, books, media, kitchenware, and women's clothes. Not so much men's, but that's not unusual. I actually feel like they don't have as many trinkets or shelf decor that I usually get at thrift stores, but I usually find something.

Ridiculously overpriced! There are dollar tree decorations priced for $1. Most of the items you can buy new for close to the same price. It’s disgustingly greedy when they get these items for free.

I was a first time visitor on Tuesday February 1, 2022. I had never heard of this business before today and being a curious shopper I decided to stop in and give it a try. I was very impressed! Huge store with lots of variety and at great prices. When I was approaching the store a customer was wheeling out an office chair. I swear that looked like my old one. Good luck with that, dude. I was impressed by the amount of pictures and frames for sale. This is like a giant indoor flea market. All the prices are clearly marked. It would be nice if the Ministries would open up in Reading. We have plenty of empty buildings including two empty K-Marts. This store is too far for me just to go shopping. If I have to travel in the area I will definitely stop in again. Open six days a week.

A few years ago Id have nothing but good things to say. But now? Extremely overpriced and poor quality. It seems like furniture in very poor condition gets marked up because its "mid century" or staff thinks its worth something. The same goes for clothing, glasswear...really everything. Youre not an antique booth, please get a grip.

So disappointed. I saw a lot of reviews mentioning how high the prices were. They were not kidding. $4 for a 2t Halloween shirt that a child will wear once. $35 for the dresser pictured. Broken, missing pulls and covered in stickers. Sports equipment, clothes, games and toys you could buy new for the same price. Horribly outdated wall art with scratched frames and falling apart for $12. I have no idea what is going on with this store but it's not worth your time. It's ashame because I love thrift stores.

It's a really large store with plenty to choose from. Staff is friendly but sometimes stuff is overpriced. They have sales to make up for it and sometimes you can find good deals when there aren't any sales. I found a pair of vintage roller skates in great shape and walked out a happy customer.

Completely overprice manager is ignorant and rude to the customers that I see I really never had any interactions with her because she just has B***** face look all the time not even worth saying hi too thanks for the horrible experience in your overpriced store won't go back

I've been coming here for a few years and honestly, it's not really worth going anymore. Everything is SO overpriced, especially the furniture. I believe they get a lot of resellers because the nice furniture is taken almost immediately. A good portion of what they try to sell should probably just be trash imo. Besides coming to browse the books occasionally I find myself mostly shopping elsewhere.

Horrible staff. Ethan at checkout couldn't be bothered to say "have a nice day" back to me even after I said it. Isn't it pretty standard for them to say it first? Just a very unpleasant experience there. Then, I was 2 minutes after the donation hours, and when I explained that I had driven 45 minutes to bring a couple items there, I was told by the two teenagers working "that's not our problem" and they told me to take my donations elsewhere or they'd get my license plate and report me for dumping. 2 minutes after the time of accepting donations.. while the store is still open for 2 hours. I couldn't believe they bothered to come outside to tell me this, but wouldn't take in my items. Seriously? They could have easily taken them inside since I took the time to drive there and didn't quite make it in time. Really disappointed with the staff overall. I've been a pretty regular customer, but they've lost my business. And, given that I've been in the customer service industry for 25+years and have hundreds of steady clients that trust my word, I'm happy to tell all of my clients about my experience so Liberty loses even more business. All it would have taken is 2 seconds of kindness on any of these young men's part. I'll remember it.

The staff was very friendly but it seems like they have no standards for the donations they accept to sell. Most of the items I saw were in poor shape or very outdated. Felt like I was shopping through someone’s trash with the quality of items they were selling. And overpriced at that.

This store is the best out of all locations. Dot is the best associate! She is kind and very helpful. Love talking to her every time I come in. Selection is great! Dot needs to be recognized for her hard work and dedication to the store and the staff.

I used to shop a lot at this thrift store and find a lot of great buys plus very good service. I had the most awful experience today when I went to check out. I had asked a young lady that I knew worked there who was on her way down the main aisle If I could talk to somebody about a designer tie because the price was equal to the original manufacturers price tag on the tie. She said I could talk to somebody upfront. Unbeknownst to me she went up front and told them to sell me this tie for $10. Meanwhile, I found another manager working in the clothing area and she said she can mark down that tie for me so she went away and came back with the tie priced at $2.99 which I thought was great . I go upfront to pay for this tie and a few other things and the checkout girl looks at the tie and sees the markdown price and tells me it’s $10. I explained the whole situation to her and she refused to acknowledge what actually happened, argued with me and got very loud and thought it was OK for her to undermine her manager’s decision to mark the tie down to $2.99 and go ahead and charge me $10. I told her the manager marked it down to $2.99 and that’s what I’m going to pay for it but she proceeded to get loud and unprofessional and refused to sell me this tie. I said who are you to undermine your manager and argue with the customers . I reminded her that this was a thrift store and not Nordstrom and then her coworkers told her to sell me the tie for $2.99 because she was getting very unruly at that point. I then asked her if I had any rewards today and she said I earned 1point. I told her that point is going to stay there because I will not be back. She turned a quick and easy check out into a controversial free-for-all in front of all her nice coworkers and other customers and I think they were a bit appalled at her behavior as I was. My moneys good anywhere it just won’t be going into that store anymore. As they say one bad apple spoils the whole bunch and it’s a shame that some people go out of their way to be unkind and nasty. People like this young lady who obviously hate themselves. hate their life, are unhappy, disenchanted and whatever else should never be in customer service positions like this. It’s not only a recipe for disaster. It sets up for bad business and extremely bad customer service.

I love this location and come as often as i can. Well priced, enormous stock. And they have basically everything: clothes, toys, furniture, books, decor etc. If you're nearby and looking for literally anything, you can probably find it here

9/10 times, great customer service. Large store with a wide selection. Some sections are neat and organized, other areas can look like a tornado went through it (making it much harder to find anything).Overall prices are decent. However, personally, they can be overpriced for many items (they literally get this stuff for free and the quality doesn't demand the high prices). Obviously if you think it's too much don't buy it. I'm just saying make sure you are checking the asking price if you're on a budget.

I LOVED LIBERTY Thrifts & Home Furnishings! This was actually the first time I had ever been there. They have so much to look at there. It was amazing!! I did get there on the late side though which made me angry with myself. As I didn't leave myself enough time to really get to the women's section of the clothing. I did, however, find a few items of clothing that immediately caught my eye and I scooped them up! They even have items there that are brand new, tags still on them and those clothing racks are clearly marked. Store was very clean, staff was helpful and pleasant as could be! The items in the store span the gambit. I would highly recommend going to this place. But, don't do what I did, they are only open until 7pm and they are closed on Sunday's. So leave yourself enough time to check everything out!!!

Love this place they have a lot of really nice things.they have everything and anything like furnisher, house hold decorations(really nice things and displayed in categorizes so if you like country theme its all in its own section of aisles. They also have clothes adult to kids as well as kids toys and shoes really can find anything also what i really likes was they had new beds in plastic mattress and box spring at an affordable price. Would love it if they had a store like that where i live I could really use a new bed. Anyway really a nice store.

Love this place! Got some great pieces of clothing here for cheap. They even do sales on the different color tagged clothing. I have found some useful kitchen items here for reasonable prices. Found decent children's shoes. I found nice seasonal decorations. They have a great rewards program that gives you money back. The only thing I wouldn't recommend buying here is furniture, most seem over priced for a thrift store and not all at a good quality... Which seems odd since they have cut off times for you to drop off donations because I was advised"they receive too many".
