Hate hate hate this pharmacy always understaff. Never have Rx ready. They don’t have time to be human and treat the customer with respect I could not imagine having to work at this location. Customer are always left waiting for medication. My Rx was called in at 3pm it is now 7:18 they did not have time to fill my Rx. I called on my way from center city philly I drove 1.5 hours and was still on hold as I walked in the door. Now because I’m here the can have it done in 30 minutes. I can’t even deal with this location anymore. It’s not that this happens occasionally which is why I was trying to call them as this medication is needed immediately. Does not matter what time of day you come here. I will have my medication filled elsewhere going forward.

Very disappointed in the management for not informing the pharmacy staff about the CDC's Bridge to Access Program (provides free COVID-19 vaccines to adults without health insurance and adults whose insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccines costs). One of the pharmacy techs was able to ask someone who I assume was a manager about it and she knew about it. Clearly management knows about this program but hasn't told their own pharmacy techs or even the pharmacist.The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the pharmacy staff was actually nice and patient with my questions. I thank them. I hope management keeps them informed in the future because I don't want any more people dying from COVID due to lack of money. We've already lost at least 1.5 million lives due to government inadequacy. We don't need to lose any more.

Updated to 3. Things have improved recently. Not sure if it is new mgmt, or staffing changes.If I could give them a zero I would. They take days to fill prescriptions they have in stock and weeks for ones that they have to order. Beyond frustrated.

Just waited for 15 minutes (I was the only one in line) only for the tech to ask my name and date of birth and then proceed to wander around behind the counter for another five minutes before TOSSING the bag with my prescription in it across the counter at me and walk away without a word. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this place (incorrect prescription claims, false info regarding the refill being completed). Definitely going to change pharmacies.

What does it take to get a prescription. When the doctor calls it in, this pharmacy says they don’t receive it. Maybe because they never answer their phone. I’ve been in the store and on the line. They just let it ring. ONE time someone answered just to say hello and hung up on me before I could even say a hello back. It’s a disgrace. When they do have the prescription in the system, I have to go into the store in order for them to actually begin processing it. EVERY SINGLE TIME. They won’t just fill it and have it ready for pick up. The drive through is never open. No matter how long it’s been since my doctor calls it in, I have to go in and ask for it to be filled. Then when I say I’m waiting for it, they have made me wait hours. I waited in the store for an hour. Asked them 2 times before walking out to come back later. My infant needed the medication before she want to bed and I couldn’t wait any longer. When I sent my husband back an hour after I left, they still hadn’t started it. So a half our later I went back and they finally gave it to me. 2.5 hours for a simple medication. We are no longer going to fill our prescriptions here. They clearly do not care about their jobs or customers.

I was waiting on a prescription which was supposed to be filled on a certain date. It took them five days to get it filled. They also told me the prescription was out stock, which was a lie. I was supposed to get my insulin with my other prescriptions that I picked up. They are making me come back there for that. I have to take a cab to pick up my prescriptions. Ever since they hired this new pharmacist and a pharmacy tech. Things have gone down hill. The regular staff that worked there was courteous and very kind. I don't know what happened to the regular staff. That CVS pharmacy has not been been able to fill the medications properly and on time. They need to get it together

Worst CVS Pharmacy ever. Called yesterday for refill told me will be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. Prescription not ready. Go next day not ready!.. I call the pharmacy, pharmasist not friendly. Very abrupt on , phone. So now after a day of not having my meds, returning today with no meds..I have to wait another 30 minutes for pickup with a roaring Migraine and vomiting!

This place is awful. Waited at least 20 minutes for a few prescriptions for my father. We were the only ones there. One of them was lost and took the duration to find. The guy at the counter is not professional at all. I get home and we were missing something so I had to run back because they were important diabetic pills. They tell me they didn’t include them because they weren’t covered by his insurance and it was sent back to the dr. Shouldn’t that have been told when we were there previously? A little communication? I said I’d pay the full. $38 dollars. So you didn’t include them or let us know for $38??? For something he needed? Switching pharmacies immediately. Save yourselves the hassle and believe the reviews on here. They are real.

This place is the worst! Your Dr sends a prescription in and they don't tell you it's out of stock.. but before that on the app it says it's processing.... go in and ask how long this new prescription will be they say they don't even have it. That would be nice to know before hand. Everyone in the pharmacy dept is rude. I'm switching pharmacies

Despite being crazy busy, they are always polite and helpful. Someone always answers the phone although, there is a wait. They must all be exhausted, I don’t know how they keep up that pace.Now it’s 11 months after the initial review. In the past few months this pharmacy has become completely unreliable. Not enough staff. Way behind on filling prescriptions. Impossible to reach by phone. My doctors office was put on hold and no one ever picked up. Another pharmacy requested information from them and never got a reply. On my last visit I was told the Prescriptions they’d had for more than a week still weren’t ready. They suggested I return another time. I told them I’d wait and I did-for two hours. They were very busy, a continuous line of customers who I got to observe while I waited. I saw one person actually get their order when they got to the pickup window. Everyone else had a problem. People were repeatedly told things weren’t ready. All were complaining about having to wait days. This is no way to run any kind of business, but a pharmacy that doesn’t fill prescriptions on time is useful to no one. I’ve had my medications transferred and will not return to this store.

Well... after several days and multiple visits/calls... we were finally able to pick up my wife's prescription. We agreed that despite the poor general experience that Gabriella deserves a thumbs up!

This CVS is the worst. I have been using them for my pharmacy and am going to change. In the last month I needed to pick up several prescriptions. I get notifications items are ready then get to the store to pick up, typically wait in line with disgruntled customers to find out it’s not ready and to come back in an hour. I go back in an hour for them to tell me they are out of stock. In one instance, I was told my prescription would be ready in 15 minutes and waited over an hour. I have tried to call prior to going and the phone just rings. Some of the staff are very rude to other staff and customers. The store is dirty. On a totally different note, I have sent pictures to be printed and on 3 occasions I receive notification they are complete and then get there and there is no record of my order… I never leave reviews but it was time! Use a different pharmacy for sure!

They are (and I cannot stress this enough) the literal WORST pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I have never been able to go there once for a medication- I have to keep going in and asking them to fill it over and over. it’s impossible to get someone on the phone to ask if your rx is ready or inquire about cost. The one single time I did, it was noon. They promised it would be ready by 7pm. I got there at 9, and they told me it was still on hold and would be another day. My meds were time sensitive. I’d have to clear my day to show up there multiple times to ensure I could get the medications in time. The drive thru is never open. Pills, prescription paperwork and trash on the floor behind the counter. Do not recommend. No stars needs to be an option.

Had surgery and needed my pain meds. Went they told me to come back an hour later. Went back the pharmacist was very rude when i asked if he could fill my prescription. He said you’ll receive a text when i decide to order. HE KNOWS HE HAS THE POWER to do that without regard of those who need the meds.R U N FURTHEST FROM THIS LOCATION

This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever used. You try to request a refill and the doctors never get a message from them that it needed to be refilled. Your medication will sit in process for several days at a time until you call and let them know you actually need it, and then they might fill it for you. But good luck getting anyone on the phone, you will sit on hold for 20 minutes or you can wait in an endless line. Drive through may or may not be available, you never know.

My daughters prescription was transferred to this pharmacy from the Egypt Road pharmacy in trooper. They claim they did not receive the transfer, couldn’t locate it and then suddenly found it after I was very persistent (after waiting at the last pharmacy for over an hour and driving to this one 45 minutes) the pharmacist refused to come to the window to locate my daughters profile so I had to drag all 3 sick kids into the pharmacy, then to wait for the pharmacist to mix it. They then tell me sorry we don’t flavor kids medications. Terrible customer service, the place looked unorganized with junk everywhere and no one appeared to be eager to work at a normal pace. Really frustrating experience, multiple people left while I was there complaining about how terrible the place was.

I called the pharmacy at noon and asked if they could have my prescription ready by 1pm. I was going out of town and needed to pick up my medication by 1:30 to catch the train in time. At 1:20 I went and the prescription still wasn’t ready. They asked if I wanted to wait 5-10 minutes and I said yes. I sat in the chair directly in front of counter and waited. 10 minutes later the grate to the pharmacy started to close. I was very nice about it it being ready in time but not telling me about going on break is completely unacceptable. When I confronted the employee and asked if they were still making my prescription they told me she couldn’t talk to me because she was on break. I was completely dumbfound and will be changing pharmacies after this experience.

So I get a medication ordered. Doctor says they spoke with the pharmacist and I just need to give them a couple hours then I can pick it up. I have used CVS for years, they have all my info on file. Go to pick up the meds, and am told "oh, we don't have it". Did they call me to tell me they didn't have it? Nope. Did they order it? Nope. Did they do anything at all? Absolutely not. And when I called the doctor back they said that when they talked to the pharmacist a mere 5 hours earlier, they were told it wouldn't be a problem.

The CVS on high st and the one on Charlotte st does not return calls. You call the refill line and they tell you it will be ready after 8 pm. Two days later I get there and they tell me it's not ready yet. 10-15 minutes should be ready 7 minutes later page me on PA system to tell me they don't even have the medication it won't be until Monday. I went to another pharmacy to transfer the 2 scripts and when that pharmacy called CVS they never got thru after an hour and never returned the call. UNEXCEPTABLE! No longer CVS customer

I refilled my prescription, and got home only to realize they gave me someone else’s prescription!! It was the right medication but with someone else’s name and address. When I went back to the store and asked to speak with a manager or the pharmacist, the pharmacist seemed annoyed to help me. He made no attempt to apologize, in fact he didn’t seem surprised at all by the error. Never. Going. To. This. Store. Again.

Sat in drive thru for 15 mins and was never acknowledged. Go inside to get my son's medicine whom is contagious which is why i used drive thru and they have 6 workers in the pharmacy and I waited another 15 mins for a prescription that was called in 4 hours before I went.

If you use this pharmacy drive through expect to wait an hour at least. There are always five to six cars in line and there is zero sense of urgency with the pharmacy staff. Doesn’t matter if you do drive through or go in, you will be waiting. Then when it is finally your turn to get your prescription, the tech is so unhappy and rude it adds the cherry on top of an already frustrating experience. Long story short spend your time at a different location. And if anyone was wondering I typed this review while waiting in the drive through line. I changed a password, logged in and still completed this whole review without moving one car length. Not even one customer got serviced in allll that time.

The pharmacy is poorly run. I typically have to stop by 4 or 5 times to get a script. Each time they apologize and say they’ll have it ready in a few minutes. When you do speak with a pharmacist they are usually polite and helpful but it is clearly not managed properly. I’m going to start driving to a further pharmacy to “save time” in the long run.

Went to pick up a Prescription and they told me they could not find it!Went back later (saw it on the counter as it was a glucagon) they said it was not there. Told to go to consultation and ask. Wait in another line to see what happens and the Pharmacist says, they usually give you this in the Hospital. Okay, but what if your not in the Hospital! Told her I could see it on the counter and finally another girl picked it up and said here it is! Time to look for another CVS location and see it it is any better!

Called this CVS six times to attempt to transfer a prescription here. Each time, I waited on the phone on hold for an hour before giving up. Eventually, I went to the CVS in person, and sure enough, everyone just ignores the ringing phones at the pharmacy. They were not super polite or helpful about transferring my prescription in person either.

I orderd my script 4 days ago. They said it would be ready the next day. My wife went to pick up and they told her there wss no script there. She then requested that they refill my script. I then went to pick up on a Sunday. This is when Elizabeth then proveeded to tell me that the script ran out. I asked why they never let me oe my wife knpw. She then proceeded to blame the doctor. This place does not know how to run a bussiness. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS CVS! RUDE PEOPLE WORK HERE.

Horrible, just horrible. Go elsewhere if you are in a hurry or want anything done timely or if you use auto-refill!!Our pills are promised constantly and when we pick them up, we are being told our scripts aren’t ready. Also, not filling scripts before we run out of meds is becoming the normal. Christopher at the drive thru is the only shining light left anymore.
