I have 2 Australian shepherds who are regulars for grooming every month- Carol is wonderful & does a perfect job every time. All the staff are very caring & kind towards me & my girls. We also go there for all our vet needs including annual appts, teeth cleaning when needed, & preventatives. My one dog is very anxious but all the staff really are so kind & understanding.

All the Veterinarians are so compassionate. They always make time to give our puppies lots of kisses and cuddles. They are gentle and always help our puppies feel comfortable. Their exams are very thorough and they distract the puppies with treats so the puppies don't even realize they received a vaccination. Would definitely recommend them.

Brought our puppy here, the vet was so compassionate and took her time with our Ellie. They distracted her with cheerios for her vaccine, and our pup didn’t even notice she got a shot! Truly so impressed. Happy we came here with our fur baby. :)

Coventry Animal Hospital staff is amazing.I switched to them due to our former vet being unresponsive to messages and having very few appointments.I always receive a call back the same day from Coventry and they get us in for an appointment quickly. The care is top notch and I feel that the treatments they have suggested are improving my dog's quality of life. They addressed medical issues that I had been told, by our previous vet, weren't of any concern. As for price, they're not the least expensive, or the most expensive, but I believe they provide quality care and, to me, the cost is worth it.

We have a very reactive and anxious dog. She needs daily anxiety meds and additional in order to go to the vet. Coventry Animal Hospital has be so accommodating and understanding with her unique set of needs and never makes us feel bad or as if she is a “bad” dog. I was reading through the vet notes and they even wrote that she was very brave at her appointment. Brought me to tears. We had a terrible experience with her elsewhere and to have them treat us and her kindly and compassionately and then say she was brave was just so sweet of them.

I have been using Coventry Animal Hospital for all my babies for almost ten years now. Ten days ago I had to say goodbye to my beloved Prudence. Today I received a very clearly personalized card from the staff sending their condolences. Thank you Dr Smith for being so honest with me so I got to have one last night with her. Thank you Amy for hugging me and being a friend even though we had never met. Thank you to the other vet tech (I am so sorry that through my tears I forgot your name) who collected her fur for me to put in a little jar and from what I can tell spent a lot of time with her. Thank you everyone for trying as hard as you could to save my 13 year old baby girl. I truly love you all and I couldn’t imagine finding a better veterinary clinic than here. ❤️

Wonderful staff, wonderful vets! My cat gets stressed by vet appointments and they addressed his issue with medication and patience. Staff is very knowledgeable and spend the time explaining my options fully. They truly love animals and I completely trust my furbaby with them. Highly recommend!

I’ve been bringing my cat to Coventry Animal Hospital for 4 years now and it is always a pleasant experience. Facility is very clean inside and out. Staff are very friendly, always making you and your pet feel welcomed. Vets are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Any time my cat has ever had an issue they are always available to take him in the day of at a convenient time. And the wait is never long. I always leave my appointments feeling confident that my cat was given the proper diagnosis and treatment. I really couldn’t say more wonderful things about this place.

Hello, I'm fine with you recommending your vaccinations to people. But when they are interested in trying something other than having drugs given to their dogs, with who knows what side effects, for your Doctors to say holistic care is a scam, is shocking. Also to be told they've had to put dogs down because they don't get the Lyme vaccine is probably not the right narrative to be telling your customers. If people choose to go a different route than vaccines and ask questions, as a professional don't call it a scam. If you don't agree fine, but you don't know who you're talking to. Just be mindful of what you're saying to your clients. Really debating ever coming there again.

First time visit for my dog and the entire staff was so warm and welcoming. Dr. Gardner took her time to explain medications and did not pressure us to do every type of test and push for all unnecessary medicines.

The entire staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. From check in to exam to check out it was efficient and competent. The doctor was very attentive. I highly recommend this veterinarian to everyone. I have family members who I have referred to this clinic. They had positive experiences also.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Coventry Vet Hospital. I just took my new puppy there for shots and initial well check. They went out of their way to make it a positive experience! I am so grateful! But my highest praise comes from the unbelievable show of kindness the staff showed after the loss of my previous dog, my precious Sophie, who was in their patient. I unfortunately had to rush her to emergency care- VRC in Malvern on a weekend. Sadly, she had a ruptured mass that was concluded to be, “not operable”. We had to put her down that day. It was devastating. I never contacted Coventry about her death. But VRC apparently did. I received the most loving card, signed by all the staff of Coventry expressing their support & grief. It brought tears and warmed my heart more than I can ever empress in words! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️❤️❤️

I am so glad to have found this office so close to my home. I have 2 ginger cats, both with flutd. We see Dr. Triana and we LOVE her. She is so kind and compassionate, and you can tell within 2 minutes of meeting her that she just loves animals. Our nurse at our last visit was Corrinne, and she was just so amazing too. They really take their time to discuss and educate about routine care in between yearly visits.

I absolutely love it here. The vets and staff are very knowledgeable and have the greatest attitude toward and with their patients. They are never too busy to take the time to explain things and give you all options to make sure you understand. A wonderful group of people.

Dr Jenny Nichols is THE BEST vet we’ve ever had. We’ve seen other vets in this office and they were okay but Jenny truly takes the time with our pup and listens to us. She also doesn’t just throw pills at a dog if they don’t need them which I love. We started taking our 12 week old St Bernard puppy here and immediately loved how they treated him and us. Now he’s 8 months old and we wouldn’t even think of taking him to anyone other than Jenny Nichols.

He has to get X-rays and they called me back before the end of the day with results. I am excited fur Tillman to be their patient! Thank you for all your help with Tillman and putting me at ease!

***updated 12/21/23 - forwarded my original email to the vet. Will wait and see..***THIS IS 100% A REVIEW OF THE OFFICE STAFF, NOT THE DOCTORS***I’ve been taking my pets here regularly since 2014. 1 dog, 1 cat until recently we added another puppy. No issues with regular care (except their groomer Carol is very rude but yanno..).Cut to, my 14 y/o Kees has a probable meningioma (brain tumor - diagnosed by a local e-vet). He was recently put on anti-seizure medication and steroids. Okay.Maybe 5-7 days after diagnosis and the start of medications, he started throwing up in the morning. A lot. I didn’t call Coventry until after he threw up 6-8 times, from 9am- 12pm, I called to make an appt but the girl on the phone seemed a little unsure and advised me to ‘call back if he can’t stop vomiting.’ Okay well he already can’t stop vomiting but I made her a deal that I’ll call back if he vomits again. At 12:45, he vomited again, this time bringing up his anti-seizure pill so I called the e-vet and they said definitely bring him in but there is a few hours long wait. I called Coventry again & said I’d like to bring him in, it’s been 9 times in a 4 hour period. The person on the phone seemed nonplussed. She said ‘bring him here, but we can’t guarantee that we can see him at all today and it’s definitely going to be a long wait.’ Great. At this point I’m assuming he needs to be hydrated and to take an anti-nausea, no big deal (but kind of a big deal bc of his brain tumor!). It was either Coventry or the e-vet, and I assumed the e-vet was going to be a longer wait AND more expensive, for very simple treatment. So, being a regular client with multiple pets (one with a recently diagnosed brain tumor that they knew about) for over 5 years, they can’t guarantee an emergency visit? It was 1pm on a Monday, cancel someone’s check up appt, this is an emergency!!So I called around and a different vet office brought us in IMMEDIATELY. As I suspected, he needed a hydration hump and some anti-nausea, and that vet told me it was probably the steroids making his belly upset and we put him on Pepcid and haven’t had a problem since. On top of this the office staff messed up 2 of my appts previously, not a big deal at the time but combined with this nonsense it’s unacceptable. On top of that, I had a friend that just called them tonight to make an emergency euthanasia appt for her very old cat and they told her a couple of days?? And she called my new vet and they got her in within the hour? What’s so telling is I sent an email to the staff about why we were never coming back and how upset I was with our experience and nobody even replied.

I took my cat in to be seen by the vet. The cat i took in was born a feral kitten and has always been an outdoor cat. When i saw the vet she diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection and the herpes virus. We discussed medication for my pet and i expressed concern about giving him the liquid form of Doxycycline because my cat is not used to being handled. She informed me that the medications she wanted to prescribe could be compounded into a treat form and they would send them to Wedgewood and i would have the medication within two days. I was fine with this. We planned to do a recheck in a week to check his eyes. I saw the vet on Monday. On Tuesday they finally put the prescriptions through and then i called Wedgewood in regards to whether they received the prescriptions and when would i be receiving them. I was getting concerned about my cat not having any medication for two days. I have to interject here they gave my cat one dosage of Doxycycline on Monday. Wedgewood reported that i would not receive the medication until December 26, 2023! I flipped my lid! I spoke to two front staff people before speaking to the office manager. The first staff person i spoke to said i was sent home with medication and i said no i wasn't. I was told it shows on my account that i was sent home with medication. I said no i was not again and said can i get the medication? I said waiting till December 26 is unacceptable. The person i spoke to said i could call back to see when the medication would be ready for pick up. They also mentioned something about December 26 and that it shouldn't take that long to get medication. I don't remember the exact conversation with the second person. When i called back a third time i spoke to the office manager. She reported the medication the staff was talking about was what was given in house. I told her about the December 26 date and she was going to reach out to the vet. When she reached out to the vet the office manager told me a paste could be ordered that would take 7 to 8 days to receive. I told her i would never be able to get that into him and that is not appropriate to wait that long. She then said something about another medication that i could call around for at the local pharmacies to see if they have it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! People take their animals to the vet when they are sick to receive medication. YOUR FULL TIME JOB is veterinarian care, that is not my JOB. So i spent $217 for nothing! They did not offer my cat any other medication that he could get currently until what they wanted him to have arrived. This all happened on Wednesday.I then took my cat for a second opinion on Saturday. On the paper work that i received from Coventry Animal Hospital on Friday it said he was well hydrated. He had lost 3 lbs since the last time he was there which was two years ago and weight loss was also one of my concerns. The vet that i received the second opinion from reported my cat was DEHYDRATED! They had to give him fluids. I highly doubt my cat was well hydrated on Monday when the vet at Coventry saw him and that is what is documented on his paper work from them. He also received an antibiotic shot that would be good for two weeks and eye drops from the second opinion. Why did Coventry not offer this when i was told about the December 26 date for the medications they wanted?!Another thing i forgot to mention was the vet i saw at Coventry never told me my cat had an ulcer in/on his eye. I have no idea what that means for my pet.The office/front desk staff are in need of a customer service training.

The property and building was well maintained & clean inside and out. I felt very comfortable when I brought my precious 11 yo beagle “Buddy” to his appt. Everyone, including staff & other clients, were caring and pleasant to be around and talk to.Dr. Haywood & staff were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. (They didn’t take Buddy off into another room to perform the services he needed) I was 100% a part of his care.My experience with Coventry Animal Hospital was awesome and by Buddy’s reaction he gives it 4 paws and a tail wag! Thank you to everyone at Coventry Animal Hospital.

I have always had a positive experience at Coventry Animal Hospital. The Drs. and tech staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. My dog never makes it an easy visit but they don't hold it against him and always leave a positive comment about him. I would recommend them to anyone needing a vet.
