I’ve heard great things about this place from many people, however never personally visited, until today. I was ecstatic when we came upon it after a day at Moraine State Park. Its a family business & the people are very nice & dedicated to what they do. Surroundings are accommodating to families with the picnic tables, rocking chairs, & tables umbrellas for shade. They also had swinging chair for you to sit & watch horses.

Friendly staff. Their Dr Pepper shaved ice with vanilla ice cream knownas the Yeti Sundae. Something I didn’t even know I needed in my life. As a Pepper fan, it’s a must try. There’s also 24 other flavors you may like. Definitely will be craving it again until my next visit.Kid-friendliness: Who doesn’t love ice cream? Friendly staff.

The Snowman is a great treat to enjoy when you're in the area, especially on a trip back from Moraine.They have a pretty all-encompassing menu, from ice only to ice creams and everything in between! The syrups themselves are both dairy and gluten free, and you can mix flavors (mine were peach and pineapple).

What better way to cool off from the hot days off summer and day at the lake than ice cold snow cones. There is deliciousness in every cup.Yettis are GREAT no matter flavor you get! if you haven't tried shaved ice with vanilla ice cream, this is the place to try the best. Despite being a small stand on the side of the road, they take credit cards.

This place is wonderful! From the cute set up to the delicious treats, it's a must stop if you are visiting Moraine. So much variety and also low sugar and low calorie options! We will definitely stop again!

Pretty cool place!Neat little fiberglass trailer, I need to bring the grandkids here! I had a “Yeti” which is like aMr. Misty float with ice cream in a slushy.I tried peach/mango vanilla, and sampled a root beer vanilla. Both were really tasty.Give this place try! Too bad it’s a little off the beatin’ path! one problem, lots of bees buzzing around the tables, so we ate in our car. They must like the sugar also!

Enjoyed the day with my cousin Nellene in the picture. She took us to her favorite shaved ice place The Snowman. As you can see she wore her shirt for the occasion. I had a sugar free mango and it was delicious! Everyone loved their icees.

This is truly a hidden gem in the area. Not only do they mark gluten free on their menu, they even use 100% cane sugar syrup! No fake high fructose corn syrup, no standard corn syrup, REAL sugar! The building is hard to miss as it is in the shape of a snowman, which the kiddos love! And the treats are extremely tasty, too! If you are in the area, this is one place that is a great stop off with the family!

Friendly staff, awesome snowcones and a beautiful view. You can sit at tables or on swings back by the pasture and watch the horses graze. Can't wait to go back next time we are in the area!

What an awesome local attraction! Probably the best shaved ice around! Took the pup with us and got her a pup cup. My son loves the Patriot and my daughter loved the unicorn!

Isn't this place awesome. Had been at Moraine and was looking for some ice cream. We always prefer local if we can. It's a cute as heck little snowman shaped building with a variety of shaved ice concoctions. I got the yeti sundae, with root beer ice on vanilla ice cream and it was amazing. They have tables to eat outside and the staff were super friendly. Even talked about Canadian sports :)

I posted a five star, but it showed as a 4. Thile snow man is awesome. Found out about it coming home from SRU one night. Amazing treats and variety. Was so impressed, wanted them to be a part of Wander Ellwood and Dog Days of summer. So happy they are a part.od this community!!!

This snowman-shaped ice cream shop is fun and is definitely worth a visit! It offers about 30 flavors of shaved ice and a few flavors of ice cream. I ordered the Yeti Sundae in a peach flavor, and I enjoyed the taste. Other products include the Yeti milkshake, ice cream cones, and doggy cups. The two employees treated me nicely.

Delicious Italian ice, friendly service and a cute place. They also have ice cream novelties. They have tables or two-seater swings to sit down and enjoy your treat, although sometimes bees are out. There is typically just one person working as it is a very small building (definitely no public restroom here), and although they get your order to you quickly, you may have to wait for others to order a bit. But I DEFINITELY recommend this place! Great for a family or individual treat.

Okay shaved ice....staff is friendly. They do have sugar free options and a pup cup which was nice. $6 for a 16oz mediocre cup of shaved ice is not something I care to repeat.*response- We had the orange creamsicle SF and banana. The flavors were just okay. My partner didn't even care to finish his. My dogs did love their pup cups.
