Wow.Amazing restaurant.The food, atmosphere, service are AMAZING.One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in, the atmosphere is very special, and feels like home. This restaurant is a must visit, it feels very local.The service was pleasant and so the food.The pies are must!!Will definitely come again.

we are staying at Bear run camp and was so happy with our service. Our server was super nice and even though it was breakfast she save us a lunch/dinner menu to us. the food came out hot and fast, she really worked hard and was super excited to know it was our first time . Sherry was great 👍 thanks for making a wonderful Start to our day.

Great little place for those that like a relaxed and homey environment. Food is tasty and they have quite a lot of variety considering how tiny the restaurant is.Good for some nice comfort food or a quick meal before/hiking!

Just a solid, really good breakfast every time! One of the few good old country restaurants still running. The food is consistently good. The servers are great. The food is reasonably priced. If you like hot chocolate with whipped cream, this place has the best. The building and atmosphere are nothing over the top but it has such a great, "grandma's house" feel to it with all the antique signs and decorations you'll really enjoy eating here!

This was a very nice diner experience. The staff was welcoming, and the food delicious. We came near close, but they were still polite and service was fast. The food was delicious and more than filling.

This is a nice mom and pop family restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is good... and reasonably priced. I had the deep fried cod with sweet potato fries. Hubby had the lemon pepper baked cod and coleslaw. Their coleslaw rivals the big boys... yummy! So stop in, relax, and enjoy an old fashioned home cooked meal. (And don't forget to tip your server!)

DON'T MISS THIS DINER...you'll be sorry if you did! COMFORT FOOD. All 3 of us were over the top with our meal choices, great service & dessert. Portions large,flavorful, cooked to perfection & appealing presentation. Coleslaw was cold, & entrees hot, as they should be. Servings were plentiful & made with high grade ingredients. For instance the burger's were 1/3 lb Angus beef. They were cooked through but certainly not dry, not greasy, with a beautiful crust on the meat. They were served on grilled buns or thick grilled bread. Sandwiches served with delicious fresh homemade fries.After all that food we expected to quit while we were ahead but couldn't. Had to top it off with a slice of homemade pie that they rave about. Amazingly delicious! I ordered the Dutch Apple Pie that my waiter suggested...so glad I did. Couldn't have been more pleased! Big buttery crumbs packed with flavor & so pretty! Coconut cream was also yummy. Can't wait to return to try other meals. Every patron in there was quietly eating with a smile on their face😋

We have always loved this place. I moved away for 20-years and stopped back in today for the first time since the 1990’s. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. So glad that Brown’s is still around and serving excellent food.

Unfortunately this place is on the decline. We were there at 6:00 on a Friday night and it was pretty empty, when we've been there on a Friday night before and it was a line out the door. The biggest problem are the prices. They have increased a disproportionate amount. We were at the Springfield Group Iron Bridge Inn the following Sunday and we spent less, got more food, in a better atmosphere. We used to love the country kitchen. It was a small family atmosphere, with good food at a reasonable family price. But when a Springfield Group restaurant beats your prices.... There's a problem. Oh.... One more thing.... Having the restaurant run completely by teenagers probably isn't a good idea either.

We've gone here many times and it was such a great place, great service, awesome people. But the last 2 times were not so great. I'll tell you if you have a problem with your meal just eat it... Ours was cold and they were great and did just reheat it. But the next time, we just sat for 30 minutes, getting stared at by the "person" that seated us ( Im assuming it was the owner) and the waitress just walked past our table like we weren't there. They were really RUDE. We will NOT be going back.

Brown's used to be one of my favorite places to eat out - it was relaxed, old fashioned, and had great, affordable food. However, recently someone decided to make this more of an "upscale" restaurant instead of family style. Prices are going through the roof. If I wanted upscale dinners at $18+ dollars, made by chefs and NOT teenagers (no offense), I could eat at the Log Cabin or in Cranberry. Brown's - stop trying to compete with the change in this area and just be yourself like you have been for decades. There used to be a time I'd see a line of people waiting to get in. This has not been the case in the past few months. My family may not be back.

Our waitress Olivia, was very helpful telling us about all of the good things on the menu. We settled on the Friday all you can eat fish. Wasn’t disappointed. But the pie….OMGeeeee….the silkiest Peanut Butter Pie with a light, flaky, homemade crust. Drove an hour to eat here. Will be back. The best part, there was a family sitting behind us with small children. They had the most contagious giggles. Great family restaurant.

Got pie from here yesterday went to open the boxes for the pie after dinner as they were handed to us in a bad which the girl tied the bag which she put the four slices of pie in a knot.The pie tasted amazing from the bite and a half that was in the container there wasn’t a quarter of a slice of pie there $20 for 4 pieces total rip off .
