When you get take out for fish and get a salad bar you should at least get a better to ĝo container so you can put more stuff in it. Very discouraging . All you can put in is a salad, unless you put everything on top. Which i did. But didnt get everything that i wanted. So you can't get a salad bar experience with what is on salad bar. Otherwise the food was ok.Parking: Needs better parking.

To start I was part of a pretty large group they didn't even bat an eye, pulled enough tables together for us pretty fast. We were seated in under 5 minutes. Very friendly service, treated all of us like family. Felt pretty good to feel so welcome. Most of our group had burgers and fries and they were decent sized burgers and plenty of fries. Very tasty. I ordered mine with everything, I got both pickles and relish on it. The relish I was surprised by, but it made it even better. Pleased by the flavor of it. They even have HOMEMADE PIES! I Love the Name of the place too. Doesn't look like much from the outside but oh my goodness definitely stop here!Parking: There's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: We had kids in our group. I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatos the meatloaf was not fully hot and it was dry. The mashed potatoes were like glue and only got a small portion.

We love it here! Make reservations or walk on it. Food is like your Grandma's. Fish fry available all week. Amazing salad bar. Huge portions, small price. Service is on the slower side. But these peoples heart is in this thing! Can't wait to go back!

We try to get to the "DB" at least once a week. The atmosphere is cozy and it feels like going home. Everyone treats you like family. The owners Ginny and Spot are fantastic people! Don't be surprised if you get a floor show with your dinner compliments of Ginny. We did and It Was GREAT! She knows how to break up the monotony and is always ready with a hug. We love them all!! The food is so good and they readily cater to your needs as much as possible. Did I mention their Fish Fry Friday?! It is so good!! Go hungry it will not disappoint!!

I visited from Oklahoma. I was looking for fresh cookies and a cake. The woman who waited on me was absolutely wonderful. They didn't have enough cookies so she went to their bakery and got want I needed. Next year you can bet they will get my business. Great place... If you haven't tried it... Then do.. I live very close to the daily bread and its only like a 5 minute walk, whenever I want anything to eat I go to the daily bread because it has good food and it has excellent service, I would reccomend.

The food was very good and the lady who served our meal was very nice. We talked about where we were from and things in general. I wish we had found this place sooner. I would definitely go there again.

Always amazing and the food is fantastic as always.
