This is a tasty stop on our visits to the poconos, an exquisite taste in their ice cream, excellent service always, we recommend visiting and enjoying The 940 Junction, always one of the best memories of our trip.

From excitement😁 to disappointment😢... I was tired form work, and promised my kid a treat, if she was good while I worked... Didn't know what was around on the ride home... My coworkers said chicken or pizza... So I resigned to another night of pizza... But I was happy to see what appeared to be a poppin little hometown burger spot... Excitedly we turned around and my daughter exclaiming "yes, burgers fries and ice cream!☺" However after paying just shy of $30 dollars for 2 orders of fries topped with cheese and pulled pork, 2 cheese burgers, and 1 plain small chocolate shake... I was sorely disappointed😞... Don't get me wrong the food was not gross or anything, but the proportions were beyond lackluster as was the overall dish... The staff was very friendly and professional... But the young lady at the pick-up window even said, "sorry I don't know who rolled out the patties today, they are extra small, and are not normally like this..." I told her calmly, "it was fine, that I would just post a review... But needed to get home and knew it wasn't her fault..." The portioning on the burgers can be gauged with the lighter as scale... As can the fries... For $6.25 on the fries 🍟, you get barely half a cup of fries a quarter cup pulled pork and a teaspoon of cheese sauce... For $4.75 on the cheese burgers 🍔 , you get a quarter cup flattened meatball size patty with generic cheese slice on a non-memorable bun with zero garnishments... The shake was the only item I got no gripe with... I'm sure this can't be normal portions though on the burgers or fries... The young lady seemed authentic, and must be right... All I know is this didn't resonate as a positive experience... Nor was it worth the almost $30 it cost for what is tantamount to 1 glorified kids meal... If indeed this is par for the course, and these are indeed the everyday fair portions and presentation... Well, I definitely would not recommend... That's what I get though for being an adventurous dinner... Some times you strike gold 😋, others, you strike out😒 ...

We love stopping by whenever we are in the Poconos. The staff is always so friendly and the food and ice cream is delicious. Prices are reasonable.

The ice cream was great! The texture was good and the flavor wasn't too sweet or to strong. I heard someone wasn't a fan of the cotton candy topping but I enjoyed the toppings I had. We'd definitely go back if we're in the area again.

You're gonna wait a little, but it'll be worth it. I really love my ice cream and so do my kids (who doesn’t). When we're not in our local hood (shout out to Ample Hills), we give others a chance to compare. I'm gonna say that The Junction can hold its own. Generous size scoops (two of them if you're really hungry) and yummy special cones (like cookie with M&Ms in it) make for a dessert lover's dream. Convenient Lake Naomi location with a fair amount of parking, but not a lot of seating. Come for the quality ice cream (where you can taste the cream in each bite) and keep coming for the reasonable pricing. Next time we're going to try one of their special sundaes!

Love the junction. Consistently high-quality ice cream, tons of choices - both in sweet treats and in more savory options, such as dogs, tenders, etc. New flavor each week keeps it interesting and fresh. Definitely the "community ice cream shop" feel to it - will be coming back often.

The best ice cream place in the Poconos! They're open late on the weekends, which is awesome as my husband and I are usually playing somewhere (we are musicians) and driving home after 9pm. What a delight to see that they were open! The hard ice cream is fantastic, creamy and rich, and the soft serve is not even a little bit airy...all of it is homemade, and you can tell. Great staff, too! Always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend The Junction! Oh! And they have vegan ice cream, too!!!

We found this quaint little ice cream shop on a mini-vacation to the Kalahari resorts. A lot of choices. Reasonably priced. The ice cream is great and the service is friendly. Some seating is available outside, but no inside seating.

Always come here whenever I stay in the Poconos. Nice little ice cream stop that has some great stuff. I love to get their soft serve twist with the sprinkles. Really fun to visit and hang out at during the summer. Staff is always really nice and it’s an overall great place to be. I haven’t been in a few years but hope to come back this summer and visit again.

This place is so cute and a must visit if you love ice cream. Everything we had was delicious but the banana split was epic. I wish we had taken a picture but it was so good we were halfway through it before we thought of it. Enjoy!

What can you say about a ice cream parlor . They have almost every kind of ice cream you can think of . Cups, cones, floats and wizards. Nice looking place the only downfall is it’s a little pricey. But give them a try you’ll like it

Ice cream tastes great and is very affordable! Even offers dog ice cream cups which I thought was really cute. Could benefit from some shaded seating as the sun beats down really hard right in front of it and theres no cover or anything.

Was in the area for vacation and decided to grab some ice cream for the family. I have to say they have the most friendly staff, nice size portions, and best ice cream! A must place to stop !

I love this place. They are friendly and the food and ice cream is always great. The only issue I have is it sits on a really busy rd so you have to keep an extra eye on the kids to make sure they do walk off even 5 feet because they might be in harms way. But overall i recommend getting some ice cream here you won't be disappointed.

It's a small place, order at one window, pick up at another. There are no tables (in or out), but there are benches outside, so you can sit down and enjoy fresh air and beauty of nature while you're waiting. They specialize in ice cream and everything associated with it, however they also carry fast food items, such as burgers, fries, etc.

Was out here for work and came across this little backroad shop. I order a shake, fries, and a cheeseburger. I figure ye.... it going to suck but let's give it a try. I hung out with locals whike i waited for my yo go order. (1hr 20 from home).This place has a nice friendly vibe. The staff was cleaning and bring out cups and spoons for the little ones and then they brought my food to me. Nice! To my surprise a nice portion of fries, with a real meat burger freshly cooked with white American cheese on a dinner roll! Excellent, I felt like I was at a back yard Bbq, with friends. I decide to eat there and hang out with the locals laughing and telling stories.Great experience.Suggestion get rid of the styrofoam and put the burgers in a waxed paper bag as well as the shake. In cup. Shake was so good it doesn't stay in the container long enough to get warm.

Service is terrible. Expect to wait in line 1/2 hour to place your order and then another 20 min to get your ice cream. There’s also nowhere to sit when crowded.You can’t compare the present horrible service to how it was under the previous owners.Get another worker to ease the backlog
