Never say a deli that doesn't post overhead sales and specials for the week ever in any supermarket before. Had to individually go through every package of deli meat and cheese as the prices are facing away from you. Pretty tight selection and no room for decent display or real deli feel. It's a chain good luck.

Short review prices or outrageous the selection is horrible is there a new self checkout machines are so obnoxious it's ridiculous personally I think the store should go under new ownership management or I will never show up again and I will post more reviews about the store to get the point across they're charging $6.99 a pound of chicken where I could have gone it yes I could have drove there but I was in a rush and pay $3.29 a pound or lower I have been there approximately 14 times and every time I try to go back and just get stuff and buy stuff for dinner within 10 minutes it's nothing but aggravation cuz of the prices and no selection if you're on a budget do not shop there it will take all your money

I recently visited this store on 11/22/22 and I got in a check out line and the young mans name was Dylan. He was so kind and polite. At the last minute I added a bag of rock salt and without me even having to ask him, he went over and lifted it into my cart. I had surgery a few months back and I have some current health issues, so normally I wait to get stuff like that when I am with my husband. But I saw the good price and got it. It made me smile that he helped in that way. I smiled the whole way home. Kindness has a ripple effect. I don’t know if this young man understands that yet about life. He deserves to be recognized. Because I am sure he treats every customer the way he treated me. Thank you Dylan. Keep up the good work, and thank you for being such a great person! It’s a little out of our way, but we will be returning to this store because of that experience.

Love the variety they have to offer. The gluten free section is the most variety I've seen locally for gotten free. The prices are great, and the place is always clean. I love this store

They're a little pricey. The store is dingy but clean and the employees are nice. Also I know it's world wide but their shelves are kind of bare.I posted this about a year ago I think my sister-in-law wanted to go today. The prices are even worse than they used to be! I can get something at Walmart cheaper by $2 and at Price Chopper it's cheaper by over a dollar and I thought Price Chopper was expensive... It just reminds me of why I whould never shop there..

I really don't like this Weis, Cashiers are rude. They don't honor prices that they don't take down. I won't buy meats there because a lot are not fresh and dates are old.

staff is great, helpful. only knock is small store. Very clean better stock. In n out fast. Employee at self checkout scans you big items so you don't have to pick them up (case of water) (litter) little things count in today's competitive chains.

Decent selection but prices are absolutely ridiculous! The deli people can't be bothered to help anyone and rather play on their phone...and simple chicken is the worst I've had yet. Then there's the cleanliness, this store lacks that as well while other Weis stores are clean modern and fresh this one is trapped in the stone ages dirty and unkept!

Weis is close by and convenient. But 30 years after I began this journey with them it’s over. How many bad packages of meat, poorly trimmed produce, rapidly expiring deli items, stale breads, rotting fruits, and lack of basics like hazelnut coffee creamer must I endure?I get it that stuff is on sale. But the due diligence of whether that chicken is fresh and safe is on Weis not me. If it’s in a vacuum sealed pack and rotten 2 days before expiration I can’t know this. But one’s pleasant nature and great upbringing say, let it slide, once twice 3 times. Now on my hundredth piece of meat that is spoiled before I got it home.The staff is generally friendly and nice. I don’t want to see them all become barbers because this store closes as a health hazard.

I just stopped by this store at 8 pm, and I’ve been shopping here for the past twenty years and it always closed at 9 pm. Well as I walked up to the doors this young woman started screaming at me that the store was closed and she really took me aback! There was no reason for such an outburst and I can tell you I will Never shop at this store again. Where Aldo they find such ignorant people? She definitely needs a lesson on customer service and courtesy.

I shop here fairly frequently because it's my most local grocery store, but I gotta say sometimes the selection here is pretty bad. I really wish they would try harder to keep the shelves stocked better. Most of the workers are really nice though, and I know most of them on a first name basis, so that's a plus

Fairly meh small grocery store with a saving grace of a decent international section. Prices here are usually about 25-50% higher than I pay other places, but the mark-up is mostly eaten begrudgingly for the convenience of the location.Staff is so-so, some can be helpful but others are outright rude in that passive aggressive customer service way.

My experience are mostly good I stop after work and there’s usually one cashier “sandy” is all she would say but she’s rude, unprofessional and ignorant. She shouldn’t be working with people because she has no people skills. I was in a great mood until I had to deal with her .

I usually really like this store and like to make it one of my go to Grocery Shopping locations. But today, the day after Christmas, I went in to pick up a few things only to hear someone who I believed to be a manager yelling at workers in front of the customers. I was annoyed and somewhat disturbed by the unprofessional display. In a time where "nobody wants to work" you should be grateful for your employees who did come in, and maybe find a way to reprimand or discipline your workers without making a public display of it.

Great prices and one of my favorite places to shop. I live a couple towns away but still go so Weis. The only downfall is the location I go to doesn't have a bakery but another local location does. That one is too far for me though. Love the place and it will continue to be my go to store instead of the ones around me.

I would give this place 5 stars for customer service, cleanliness, easy to navigate, prices. However, don't ever try the glazed donut holes. They are more like a ball of chalk dipped in candle wax.

This location of Weis Markets is a very convenient one for me. I probably shop their at least once a week. They have a nice selection of goods and a great deli where I particularly like their salads. Self check out option makes it easy in, easy out.

In my opinion it’s a perfect home-town grocery store. They have a lot of money-saving specials on a weekly and monthly schedule. You can find a lot of good deals on meats as well.Be sure to get a savings card too so you can maximize your spending power.

Did anyone else pay $15 for chunks of mostly rinds and skins, sold as a premium cut fruit tray? This is just ONE example of their crud. Imagine trying to tell our parents we went to the store and bought pre-cut fruit chunks. And paid $15. And they were the worst pieces of fruit in the store.

Both weis markets in plains and duryea are well stocked,clean, and efficient prices in both are resonableOnly negative is negative parking lot behavior in plains due to noon time drunks in cars.Sad cause plains and plains township people(keystone) tend to be very nice

Weis is a regional treasure. One of the best parts of shopping there is Claire (at the register). Speaking of the cashier lines at Weis, all are self-serve except for one. Well, I do believe that each of the self-serve check-out stations was once someone's job. May be a grandparent now having to take care of grandkids, maybe a college student working to pay off school expenses, or a high school kid helping out with expenses . Corporate greed. What ya gonna do? Well, we could all insist on a real person. An honest hard-working person with a great big smile like Claire.

There's lots of parking and subcheckouts which are kind of annoying cuz it tells you to put stuff into bags that doesn't exist or tell you this take stuff out of bags that doesn't exist but the staff seem helpful and usually attend to you before you melt down the pomegranates are pricey up at Price rate in Scranton are $1.25 they're nearly three bucks down here

Best supermarket in the area. Employees treat you like family. They always greet me and my elderly dad as soon as we walk in the door. No matter who's working, they always converse and make you laugh. Prices are great and their Butchers Box of meat, 4 packs for $20 is a great deal.
