I highly recommend PAH!We were visiting friends in the area when our dog, Luna, suddenly got sick. Given it was over the weekend, no other locations would see us as they were too busy. We were 2+ hours from home and with Luna sick we really did not feel comfortable getting back in the car with her for that long. The lovely staff and doctors at PAH understood the situation and were nice enough to squeeze us in despite their full calendar.Their facilities were clean, and everyone was very comforting and thorough to ensure Luna got the care she needed. We are very grateful for their help!

Love everything about this hospital. Have been taking my Fur Babies here for 10 years. Good size parking lot. Has safe area to walk your Fur Babies, Large open waiting room and clean. The staff is very friendly, caring and helpful love the Doctoes and Asst...Definitely recommend for all your Fur Babies

This whole team here really are fantastic. Twice in the same year my dog had major issues and they were kind , compassionate and super efficient. They got my dog a same day appointment and got her all the meds and attention she needed. More so their prices are reasonable , and I never feel like I’m getting robbed. I have since moved to Scranton and I still drive down to this vet because of the care they give all their parents. Thank you guys

Absolutely no compassion from the front desk staff. I will say the Doc and the 2 nurses that came in were a little caring not by much. I did feel like they were a little judgmental, making it feel like it is your fault. All in all I was not happy. Watch what you sign. They tell you one price but then tell you another and then go to tell you if they payment is less then what they tell you you don’t have to pay which cmon it is a ER for pets your always going to be charged and arm and leg and that is where they get you! Also bring snacks because you will be there for like forever because they have one doc working.

Best place in the valley. All of the ladies are so nice and helpful. Doc and techs are the absolute best! You can tell that animals are their # 1 concern. Plus, my pup absolutely loves them. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done. I 1000% recommend bringing your animals to them.

They are wonderful my dog is a patient there and recently had a rash and we couldn’t make it in . They had me send a picture and the vet was Abel to give me a spray for it . They definitely put the animals needs first

I let them know I was not happy with the service and instead of making it better they said we don't want you to come here anymore Wow! SMDH And one of the people behind the desk says Its new owners since my last visit ..So u admit your services are trash! Dr Ayers the founder was great He actually cared! Sad hes gone now he is missed ! Wouldn't recommend!!!!! So many people I've talked to have said don't go there! Should have listened

We changed vets to Plains Animal Hospital about 2 years ago from a Vet in Mountain Top. We couldn't be happier. They truly care about our pets. Even though it's a 25 minute drive the care your pets receive is well worth it.

Our beloved Lovey suddenly started to have serious issues . The staff at the hospital did everything they could to help her and keep her comfortable. Unfortunately , she passed. The care and compassion from everyone was outstanding. Thank you for helping us and making our Lovey's last few hours comfortable. ❤️

We were here and told to just call if we had any issues or questions after we left… we’ll they wouldn’t answer our questions on a call and wanted us to come back in for another $300 ! (Just to walk in for an antibiotic!!))Never be back again to this hospital!!! Plus the wanted to put down my cat who turned out fine with some complications… I will be reporting them to the better business borough as this is the second time this has happened. They did the same with our other cat, wanting to put her down but made a full recovery. Don’t go here.

Dr. Carr was very thorough in explaining all situations that involved my dog's current care and after treatment. This facility was extremely clean and very well managed. Whenever I decide to get another pet I will definitely have them treated here. GREAT facility

Stay away from there at all cost.I'm referring to the Emergency Room.I bought my dog in after he suffered his first seizure.A heavy set young black woman took one look over the counter at him and said he looks fine. That it wasn't an emergency.I didn't get her name or I would note it.So I can only give a description of her.First she is only an intake clerk not qualified to make that assessment.Secondly my dog was lying STIFF in my arms.She took my dog from me and bought him in the backroom. Told me to wait in the lobby. 3 hours later and still having not seen a veteran the same women approaches me and said come back in 2 hours as they were understaffed.Things got ugly and 1 hr later the vet came out too speak to us.She issued medicine and sent us on our way.3 weeks later our dog died.They are truly heartless.The vet apologized to us but the woman that worked in intake never did.Fire her immediatelyStay away from their.Published by William VandykeDogs Owner

so i think they are pricey was charged a fee for my missed appt and then a late fee on top of that due to a ligitimate reason my dog went on the rug asked for papertowel and a bag and to clean it up and was charged a 5 dollar fee. dr ambrose is nice patient with my dog staff was friendly just the prices and fees are high

I have a large, mixed breed dog. He's a handful but I have a wonderful vet. Dr. D a m c o t t. She handles my dog with such ease and give such expert advice that I don't know what I do without her. They also have trained specialist that answered the telephones which will get your message promptly to a vet.

They were the most compassionate, knowledgeable, fast and kind team as my dog was in critical condition from the front desk staff to the doctor who kindly brought him out as he was passing so we could be there with my dog. They were very honest about potential outcomes and really cared about my family and my little dog Romeo. The one staff member just stood there and listened and brought tissues as I cried and said good bye. I am so incredibly thankful for this team and wish them nothing but the best. Thank you for making one of the worst times somewhat Better.

At our last visit, instead of having the doctor talk to us privately, they sent a tech out the the waiting room and in front of everyone told us we had no options and that our cat would need to be put down. Extremely uncomfortable and inconsiderate. Not sure what to say in a crowded waiting room, we left. Received a second opinion, only to find out her condition is very treatable and she’s been doing great ever since

Great place. They take care of all three of our animals. 2 cats and a dog. We had to have a dog put down there once unfortunately and they treated us with so much compassion. Absolutely great place

My dog was attacked and needed her face stitched up - it was BAD. Very scary. The whole staff at the ER, and the surgeon who took care of my dog were WONDERFUL. She’s much better and back to her normal self again.I cannot thank you all enough for saving my girl 🐕 🐾 💕HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Every time I come to Plains Animal Hospital, myself and my pets are treated with so much love and care. My dog, Nelson, had surgery to remove to large lumps on his body and he was in such wonderful hands with Dr. Carr.I want to thank all the staff for always being super helpful! I have been taking my dog there since she was a puppy. We are on our fourteenth year! Right from the beginning she had belly issues. Dr. Edwards started with her and when she wasn't available full-time, Dr. Damncott took over. I can't say enough good things about both Doctors! Dr. Damncott goes above and beyond to constantly help me with Bella's stomach issues as they are becoming more frequent with age. There's not enough Thank You's that I can express! Other things I appreciate about PAH is that it's easy to get an appointment, it's a clean environment and the staff are always friendly to the pets. If you should need to leave a message for your Doctor, you WILL hear back from them. I highly recommend using PAH for the care of your fur babies!

I have had horrific experiences in the past with borderline animal abuse and vets that would not allow me in the room for god knows what reason. I’m happy to say this was the most pleasant one I’ve been to. They treated my kitty with respect were very gentle and soft voiced, gave proper information and a breakdown of costs. I highly recommend. Thank you for a good experience!
