Dollar General in Plains on River St. is great,shelves are always stocked,store is always clean,Dollar General in Pittston needs help keeping their shelves stocked & keeping the store in order,everything is everywhere & nothing is where it belongs,it's hard shopping there

Regularly has shelving prices that aren't what rings up at the register. Beware that your total and what you're lead to believe you're paying isn't what they maybe charging at checkout. Cashiers will refuse to correct the pricing and literally will say, "Well, do you want it or not?" to your face and then go chat with their friend that just walked in. So, also unbelievably poor customer service to boot.

Fully stocked very clean and the employees were pleasant appearing to enjoy their job unlike most stores. I have personally worked at a Dollar General before and they do not pay their employees nearly as much as they should considering the ridiculous amount of responsibilities they have.

Very clean and good selection! Store was well organized, did not feel like a typical dollar store at all! No clutter or boxes everywhere. I'll definitely stop by again if I'm nearby

We recently visited this location and I have to say that our experience was pretty bad and the women claiming to be the manager Kristy she mentioned her name was but my refund receipt says Allison. I believe you should enjoy your job or quit because you my dear do not enjoy your job. Your a miserable manager who should get sent back to whatever training this establishment offers and try again. You don't speak to people the way you did and not allowing my sister to purchase her items because you were on a power trip is really unprofessional and spot lights why you should not be a Manger because a manager like you costs the company money. When you mentioned you would dial the police I had a half a mind to do it myself just so I can watch you explain exactly why you dialed them down. I will be contacting corporate about this as well. I hope you find happiness ma'am.P.S I returned all items I purchased due to this poor interaction with kristy/Allison.

There is never anyone in front of store to ask where something is 3 times I was in there to grab something quick. BBQ sauce then was aluminum foil then sunblock, in which bcuz of season should be put in front east to grab. Then had to wait for cashier puting stuff away to get service. I like the prices but so far my experience has bee. Poor in cashier or personal assistance at the store.

Very clean store. It's the cleanest one yet. No boxes on the floors .all isles are open .I never seen a dollar general store, this nice ,very nice workers !
