I love this Walmart because I can literally walk to the Walmart from my house. But lately I’ve been noticing that the employees are rude and there’s no good customer service at the self checkout.. they stare at me like if I’m stealing and I feel uncomfortable and like they’re being racist.

I'll drive the extra 10 miles to be treated with respect. Wilkes Barre's is terrible as they're constantly stopping me for receipt check even with all bagged items & receipt in hand. One door checker (blond lady) even put her foot out in front of my cart as I slowly walked out thankfully I didn't trip. I have herniated disk extrusion & spinal stenosis resulting in temp paralysis that subsided after pelvic surgery. I'm told my condition can worsen with age degeneration.I walk with a gait at 50 yo and sometimes when most severe use a cane. It's dangerous to do that to long time (25 yrs) as a paying customer and twp resident.If I hand scan items they tell me machine is saying I didn't scan & must verify my receipt which shows I clearly scanned all items.Carts are always left outside so there's zero availability upon entry. Car fires, shootings, retail theft is advertised constantly 😳 with debris everywhere.Always long lines to pay cashiers. Yes, they'll ask for receipt after exiting cashiers too. Yes, even with receipt visible in hand & items bagged.Rarely stocked and often receive only 6 of each item at a time. So, frequent return trips.Contacted manager, spoke to door receipt operators, nothing has changed.Pittston is much cleaner, well stocked, carts always placed in holding areas, and very respectful.

I'm a Wal-Mart Plus member and I love the service and use it frequently. It has helped save me time and money over the years. There's many benefits to becoming a member and for less than $13 a month I can't complain.

I love Walmart and frequent this location a couple times a week. However, right now they are in the middle of reorganizing the whole store, which makes it a little more difficult to find some things but the workers that I encountered were more than happy to point me in the right direction. I can't wait to see the finished, reorganized local Walmart.

I have a small baby making shopping difficult so I order pickup our weekly groceries. EVERY single week my order is wrong. Items are either missing, rotten, expired or broken. EVERY TIME. Extremely inconvenient & such a waste of time and money.

This particular location was recently renovated, you'd think that would mean the stores improving right?! Wrong. Whoever decided the Dickson City layout would work for the much smaller Pittston location should be fired. This location is a pain for able-bodied people and an absolute nightmare for disabled people. The aisles are spaced way too close together now and the main aisles have display after display you can't get past someone (picture attached) the seasonal section up front has product hanging off the shelf and since there isn't much room for people to comfortably pass each other the products are getting knocked off the shelves (picture attached). There's a slew of new self-checkouts which not only solved 0 problems, it created more! The self-checkouts in the middle seem to be for people with large orders. There's plenty of room to hold your bags yet no room to put your items before you scan them. So you have to leave them in your cart, sounds fine right? Wrong again. You're back to back with the customer using the self-checkout behind you. annoying for able-bodied people, an absolute nightmare for disabled people. And if you need 2 carts for your large order? Forget it. Oh! And if you're waiting in line for these lovely new self-checkouts and the person at the register in front finishes, you'll just have to wait until one of the people using the back registers finishes because you can't get through! Why? Because everything is too close together! This remodel lacks all logic and reasoning and this review only scratches the surface of the issues here at the Pittston Walmart. I'd say you're probably better off going to one of the 3 other Walmarts in the area if you're able. I'd give negative stars to this nightmare if I could.

This location has a air salon, beauty boutique where they specialize in threading, lash extensions and more. Both of which I used their services. Then did my household shopping. It save me on time having all that in one location.

Not truck driver friendly at all. Was able to park around the rear on the side but I wanted groceries but they have signs and awnings ALL over the place to prevent truck parking. It’s sad the treatment truckers get, now Walmart even making it hard just to buy food for my truck. Sheesh.

Walmart is becoming a giant joke and this Walmart is just rediculoius on everything they got going on now. The workers how does the pick up orders..... Woooow! Talking about extremely rude to instore customers. Makes you wanna kick those blue boxes down. They have no respect for shoppers.

Not stocked at all prices to to high very unorganized not enough workers and who they have working there should be more happy smile and do thier job they expect 65 70 year olds to pack bags and fill cart .ok LAZY WORKERS ! NOT CLEANED AT ALL VEGETABLES LOOK FUNKY CHRCK IT ALL OUT.Oh meat counter really really needs a whole new overall meats are groce and dried chicken all the time .people are very very unhappy .get a new job if you cannot .WORK AND DEAL WITH PUBLIC!!! THE END.

It is so sad they wouldn’t let truckers go in and get food… even though their whole business depend on trucks delivering goods. I suggest avoid this place

I prefer our smaller Pittston Walmart. But noticing less stock, variety of items last year or two. Associates are usually friendly & helpful. Only issue is road in from industrial park is marked as 25 mph.WAY TOO SLOW just for traffic in general, & to get vehicles up inclines (used dodge van for 15+ yrs & 4 door sedan--need more juice, at least 35 to do inclines). Speed trap, know people that have gotten tickets in past.

I needed a bbq grill and they were the only ones who had one in stock. Ordered online. Followed the directions for pick up and everything went smoothly. I didn't give 5 stars because their parking lot is an accident waiting to happen.

Got my order together then with 5 lanes at the registers open. They didn't have tap to pay. Had to walk out of the store with nothing. What kind of federally subsidies store doesn't have tap to pay? What are the people's tax dollars going to if not the infrastructure of the stores?

Typical Walmart has most basic items a person would need. There are multiple Walmart's near me. I like certain ones better than others. The parking system in many of their local stores needs help. Other than that, they are there for your needs.

Since the remodeling of the building, smaller aisles layout sucks. Drive to Tunkhannock Walmart store has a friendly staff and you can feel more relaxed when shopping.
