I love this market! The delicatessen section is full of choices...it is the busiest place inside the store. I love the OLIVER BAR, where we can pick Mediterranean olives and picketed peppers. The bakery is really nice and the cakes are fresh, we love the 1/4 triple chocolate cake...So rich with jam between each layer...

Just grabbed some veal marsala from their 8 dollar a pound buffet. Absolutely horrible. From the mystery meat, to the mushrooms to the sauce, without a doubt, the worst I've ever experienced, ever, anywhere. Don't waste your money, and Gerrity's should be ashamed passing that off as "veal".

Everything was better pre the fresh grocer. The baked goods taste fake just bought a strawberry pie and there was nothing fresh :( do not buy bowl and basket - still decent meat selection and fruits/veg but changes weren't for the better and pricier than it once was when it was family run

Love the improvement. I'm familiar with the store and items locations so that's not a problem. I go daily for small orders and never have problem with crowding or even short staff. They always have about 3 to 4 cashiers

I like this store for my meats. However, the prices have went up. And the deli and bakery is great too. They have remodeled. It is so much nicer now. Overall, it's a good store. Goodies are a bit pricey though. I haven't been here as much because it had not been as cheap since the change. But, I would like to start coming back over how that it is done being remodeled.

I wanted to share a wonderful experience I had at your store. Mark (the delivery driver) was so kind and thoughtful! I was shopping with my daughter and I was grabbing my bags from my cart to bring to my car. Mark helped me carry the bags. His joyful spirit and kindness made my day! Employees that go above and beyond deserve to be recognized, he is a true asset to your store!

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I often go in to grab things I need and never had a bad experience everyone is usually nice, until today. I ran into the store to grab some things and stepped in the line of “Penny” and it was a cold experience. Now, I have been in customer service for almost 30 years and no matter how you feel about a certain group of people or how your day is going you always greet the customer pleasantly, When i stepped in her line actually I had to say good morning because it was so cold and awkward stepping in her line. After I paid for my items I could not wait to get out of the store to write this review she just whipped her arm back with my receipt didn’t say anything but looked at the cashier next to her and proceeded to ignore the customer which was me. If you don’t have proper customer service than you should work in the back somewhere this is poor representation of the store. I can spend my money elsewhere.

Easy and quick stop after dropping or picking my child up from school. Store was very clean, well organized, and staffed nicely. Produce looked amazing and definitely a better selection of school snacks. Plus, grabbed dinner that I can't wait to try from their deli.

I called this Gerrity's before traveling there and was told by a butcher that they had John Morrell Easy Cut hams in stock. I drive down there only to be told that they did not have any yet because they needed to receive a code for the pricing and have not received it. Then he said he could check for me. He opened a box and pulled out a John morrell ham and I asked him if he could cut it in half and he said no. He said he would sell me a whole ham and just make up a price because he did not receive any codes yet. I asked if another Gerrity's would have them and he said absolutely not if we didn't receive the code then they didn't. I ended up calling another Gerrity's and had no problem getting my John morrell easy cut ham. The butcher I spoke to at the Gerrity's I ended up going to said it was pure laziness on their part. I will never go to the West Pittston store again.

Ummm let's see I believe I was probably the only black person in the store. Anyway when entering the store I was Immediately tailed, As I made my way around the deli I noticed the guy that was following me, So I quickly went around the corner make sure I've seen him and we made eye contact, After they noticed that I noticed that they were following me, They immediately stopped. ✋️ 🤣 😂 Even though I was in my work uniform, martz trailways. They We're positively, In denial🤣😂🤣😂. I believe this was so funny because I make more in a week, then they do in a month. So before you go racially profile, Continue to evaluate the situation from Afar, Analyze the situation, Then proceed to condemn.

Cute little convenient store. Parking is limited in the close proximity. But they have good options. Definately get a rewards card because it helps you save so much! Always seems clean. And cashiers seem to be very nice also! :)

Love this store. Vist it many times a week. All the employees are always nice and the store is always clean. They usually have everything I need. They just redid the entrance and are currently working on the inside of the store. Can't wait to see it finished.

I always shop here for meats and baked goods. They always have the best meats and rolls. Luncheon meat is great too. Prices are a bit higher but the food does taste much better. If you can catch a sale they often have really good meat sales.

I made a stop after work and was pleasantly surprised to see the new produce department. There are so many great selections with so much more room. It really looks great.

Normally, I wouldn't rate a grocery store but for two reasons I am making an exception. First, this store makes the best Italian bread you can buy anywhere near here. Second, they have a fantastic olive bar that has a very large variety to choose from. They even have pepper shooters on it. They have a very nice meat department as well with good quality and selection.

Now Gerritys is no longer a Sure Save store, they are now the fresh grocer. With the exception of remolding and changing things I found that for the most part their prices are about the same, some items are a little bit higher but I found new items that are very affordable. It's basically depends on what your looking for. Gerritys Supermarket has always been the official grocery store for the internet show SGW's Home Cooking show and will continue.

It’s nice that it’s pretty easy to navigate and here and there will hve local foods you don’t find other places. Not vegan/plant based friendly though. Aside from having a nice array of diff condiments and sauces that are hardTo find it’s OKAY.

This location is inferior to the Moosic location. They removed organic fresh vegetables and fruit section. And the credit card ‘tap’ never works and locks up the whole register. Very inconvenient.Heard they are doing a remodel in the near future, hopefully makes it better, because it’s the only decent grocery store in the Pittston area.
