Morgan's is the best. John always takes time to take care of our needs for fresh or cured meats, the best homemade green tomatoes, cheese and a little glass of wine while you wait. Highly recommend a stop when in Pittston. Porchetta is our favorite.

The store take me back a lot of years. John the owner is very corgial. For my first time there, it was well worth the visit. The samples John gave us were fantastic. The meats are out of this world. Prices are right. The whole experience made my day.

Went here to get chicken cutlets, John the owner knows how to cut them right. Definitely a true blue old style butcher shop. Give John a shot if you want fresh meats.

Excellent service! I stopped by to check for a bone for my dog that I didn't find anywhere. I found them here along with a very helpful butcher! Will definitely be back for some steaks when grilling season starts.

The owner is just the nicest man, truly. I came here to get steaks for my husband's birthday and the owner was very helpful, informative, and chatted with you in a relaxed way (not like a pushy salesman you want to avoid). He was also great about COVID-19 safety, allowing limited people in at a time and directly asking customers to wear a mask if they didn't have one on (and offering to grab them one if needed). I got filet mignon and I think ribeye?? Both had excellent texture and flavor. I would definitely recommend this shop and will come here again!

We loved this place. The owners are so pleasant. The meat we received was fantastic. The sausage was great. The prices were right. Would definetly recommend coming here if you desire good food at the right price with friendly service.

Dropped in from out of town and the owner took the time to talk with me (over a glass of homemade wine) about his in-store cured meats. Bought lonza and Soppressata, which were both excellent. Hope to return in the winter to try to prosciutto. Highly recommend if you want a real butcher, not just a meat cutter.

This place is a delightful throwback, offering the finest meats and Italian specialty items. Little kids come in off the street for candy and soda, just like the corner stores that have all but vanished. You might even enjoy some witty repartee with the colorful patrons who gather at the long table to dine and reminisce. Morgan's gives you unparalleled food, service, and an unforgettable customer experience.

A hidden gem! John Morgan (owner/proprietor) is a super friendly dude. John is always very welcoming, often offering samples of his most recently cured meats or homemade wines. His steaks, pork chops, lamb chops and various other meats are unrivaled in this area. Definitely a must-see for the meat connoisseur.
