Covered underground parking that is free. The usual up-scale selection of groceries. Fresh produce. Selection is a bit limited but more than adequate. Clean and well lit. Well organized. Wines. Bakery. Butcher. Prices are still a bit steep but not absurdly so. Fairly quick check-out. Better for a quick stop than some of the larger markets. Also Amazon pick-up and drop-off.Finally figured out to use my Amazon Prime membership in store.

The new store is big upgrade in comparison to the old one. Bigger aisles across the store where you won’t collide with people anymore. Bigger parking lot underneath the store where you won’t have to spend tons of time looking for a spot. I believe the best addition to this Whole Foods is the cafe space with entrance thru Penn Avenue with seating and a bar.

Clean and well staffed. Produce seems thin from time to time, either it sells out quickly or they are not getting enough. High-quality products and the 365 brand is usually at a competitive price point for Pittsburgh. Love the hot bar and the Cafe. Can't beat a $12 large pizza!

Not typically the biggest whole foods fan, or more specifically I would say I don't go out of my way to shop at one. With that being said I can absolutely say that their produce is far better than what is typically found at the supermarket. Prices are definitely a little higher, but at least in that respect it's worth it. Hot foods selection is also much better. Worth checking out. Follow for more...

In general 95% of the people who work here are awesome and hardworking. The new store is super clean (as the old one was) . It features a pizza stand, hot and cold buffet (where some delectable items can be picked up) sushi and ready meals ranging from $11 -13. There is an indoor spot where one can eat and drink too.. The ready meals use to be generous bomb but now the servers are scrimping on the amounts which has caused me to abandon this option and go for the hot and cold buffet. Their pastry shop has expanded and if you have a sweet tooth you will leave happy. There is also a cheese hub where you can learn about all kinds of different cheeses. Also as an added bonus you can buy booze here!!! They do scan your ID which is outrageous as even the PA state store does not intrude upon your identity, collecting all kinds of sensitivity information they have NO right to. (Also those devils Giant Eagle also scan IDs with alcohol purchases.) Don't know why they do this. (I was given some b.s. answer) However if you want a great selection of booze and do not mind your id getting the big brother, this store does not disappoint. For that I had to take off a star. This store also has a very quick self service station where you can check out yourself and people are there to help you. And also, remember you can pick up or drop off unwanted Amazon purchases here. The prices for items vary and one can still shop here and get all kinds of goodies without breaking the bank. They also have loads of sales. If you are a prime member you can get discounts too. Late in the day, they tend to run out of food. If you are a carnivore, I recommend the collard greens and pulled pork. I did not get a good pic of the pastry bar. It includes a vast variety of goodies. This bakery is my go to spot for bake goods. The quality is high...props to the pastry chefs. Enjoy!

Recommend avoiding catering from here.I had an experience yesterday for a very simple order (coffee for a group event). When I arrived for pickup the order was not ready. I got a literal "I just work here" answer from the barista, and when escalated to customer service, it became clear that the online order was misrouted. Call that a technical failure (expect more from Amazon but OK, not the responsibility of the staff). What I found to be unacceptable was that rather than be honest about the order, they told me that they would fetch the order and disappeared. I found them attempting to put the order together quickly (brewing coffee and grabbing carafes). At no point did they tell me there would be a delay and I was already late for my event. I canceled the order and showed up without coffee (I had one job... ). The fact that the staff couldn't simply be honest and allow me to make my own judgment call has me never willing to try working with them again. The store itself mostly is useless, it's the same as the old one with fancier lighting and a huge waste of space in prepared foods. Fish and meat counters are upgrades but the shelves continue to be generally low stock, poor options. I stopped coming here for groceries and I never walk out of here feeling like I got everything that I need.

I finally got a chance to visit the new store. It’s a huge improvement from the last one. Parking is a little better but kinda hard to figure out what street you’re on when you leave. I think the quality is not up to par it’s basically another Giant Eagle. I don’t live in this area anymore so I probably won’t make the half an hour commute when I pass 3 Giant Eagles and 2 Aldis. The good thing about this is that they sell more vegan and vegetarian food. Since I have prime I may order the tofu and have it delivered.

Before Whole Foods puts prices on things they flip a coin like Two Face from Batman. One side of the coin means they put the actual retail value of the item. The other side of the coin means they give it 300% markup and then do their best to look you in the eye with a straight face. It's your job to figure out which ones are which. It annoys me how convenient this place is because I'd rather not support Amazon but the staff here is genuinely very friendly and I've never had a negative experience with them. It's also one of few places where you can get groceries and alcohol because they have the resources to loophole through PA's comically out-of-touch liquor laws.Go somewhere local if you can, but if you do come here you probably won't be disappointed because they are swimming in billions of dollars of revenue so like yeah this place is gonna be nice.

I love the cleanliness of the store. The employees are always very helpful if you have any questions. They offer many things you can't find in other stores. The only true downfall of Whole Foods is the price. It costs way too much to shop here for anything other than specialty items.

WFM used to have a bread counter where you could get fresh bread sliced, packed and labelled. This has been replaced with a self service station. Now you're expected to do this all yourself. There's some crumpled up gloves that you're supposed to use ... if other people fail to do so, welcome to their micro biome! The bags to pack the bread are hidden in an unlabelled drawer. At the back is a labeling machine - good luck figuring out the correct SKU! The bread cutting machine has a locking mechanism which helps prevent losing a finger in it, but also occasionally prevents bread from being completely cut. Now all this has been the case since this branch opened and the fact that it's gotten worse is a testament to management incompetence or indifference. So I'm going to hold four stars hostage until I can get bread again without hassle.

I'll start by saying that I really love whole foods in general. However, I've now ordered groceries to be delivered to my house twice (about 6 months apart). In both instances, I've only received 50-60% of what I ordered. The shopper picked everything out, substituted appropriate items, and completed the order; but, one or more of the bags were left at the store and not delivered. It kinda defeats the purpose of paying a fee for the convenience of delivery if I have to go the grocery store anyway.I'll still shop in person, but I don't think I'll order delivery groceries again. Nor will I recommend the delivery option to my friends.

Had an unfortunate experience recently. I haven’t gone regularly to Whole Foods but made a special trip to buy some Scallops for a special meal we had planned, and when the person at the fish monger came to help they were very short with me.I asked to pick some of the larger 10-20 scallops as the recipe required them, and the response was “they’re all about the same size.” That’s not true clearly based on the name 10-20 means 10 per pound or 20 per pound, which clearly means some can be double the size of the smallest in the batch. I didn’t say anything and just tried to indicate some that I wanted. Huge lack of training as well as lack of politeness. After that, before confirming if I was satisfied with the amount, they printed the receipt. I politely asked for a couple more, and they dramatically tore up the receipt and printed another one. They mumbled if I needed anything else and I said no thanks and moved on.Very unfortunately, I will probably not continue to visit if thee staff seems to treat me like a burden on their livelihood for simple requests.

I am Loyal customer at Whole Foods for years. I placed an online order to make my shopping more time sufficient. I needed to grab 3 more items from the store that I preferred to pick out myself. So I picked up my order and proceeded through the store to obtain the rest of my ingredients. While shopping for my remaining ingredients, I was followed and harassed by the store manager. He told me that I wasn’t supposed to shop in the store with my order because it looks “sus”. And told me that I was “shopping wrong”. He continued to follow me through the store hassling me to show confirmation of my order. I immediately felt uncomfortable by this and asked him to stop harassing me and confirm with his team or even check the store cameras that a manager should have easy access too. I ended up showing him my order confirmation before leaving as I understood his frustration. But As a loyal customer I felt attacked by the store manger and will no longer be shopping at the establishment. On my end I could've grabbed my order after I shopped around the store but my pick up window was passed and I didn’t want my order to be disposed of or anything. As a paying customer I didn’t think Much of it Because I knew I paid for my order and I knew I was gonna(and did) pay for the 3 items I needed. Very disappointed in the way I was approached by the manger. It felt racially biased as I am a black women. Today they lost a loyal customer.

The parking is convenient! You do not have to worry about parking a ticket besides that it reminds me of a smaller Giant eagle that's made inside of an apartment complex building.

The design team for this building really missed the mark. It failed to understand its health conscious customer base by creating an environment with high levels of VOCs right above an organic grocery market. Makes zero sense. Every week I see people fighting for parking spots outside both in front of the store and the adjacent block as opposed to going into the basement garage that reeks of exhaust fumes. Carbon capture it is not, unless they mean for your lungs. The store even had to setup no parking signs at the end of the street to prevent illegal/dangerous parking. The new Fresh Market will give them a real run for their money.

Don’t you think it would be a great idea to have a mirror at the entrances of the garage? To see your surroundings before coming out? Such as a person trying to walk pass. ALSO, how can I ever shop in peace if I’m always being watched? I shop all the time in the store. Y’all watch a certain color of people showing y’all racist ways. Such a disgrace.

Lately my experience has been negative starting with a few issues with pickup and rude staff. I usually go here to return Amazon items and heard one of the workers complain about having to bag some of the items when I turned around. Additionally, the store is usually low stocked and I end up just shopping elsewhere. I used to occasionally eat their hot bar food and stopped after having some really disgusting meals. I don’t miss the old parking situation but I do miss the store and friendly staff.

The store in general is great but the coffee bar is terrible. They're either always on a break or they just don't work. Was told that even thought they're open till 3 they close down at 2:30. They just leave coffee out until 3. The rest of the store is a typical whole foods and is pretty well managed.

Decent place. Parking is good. Smells good inside. No waiting. A bit pricey but that's the rub. We don't have to like it.

Wow! I moved away & hadn't been to the new location. They still have the best quality produce plus the best variety of healthy products & 3rd party tested supplements. The new place IS huge & it seems airy-er, but it still feels cramped in navigating around people, and goat milk is $3 more than it is at Walmart. Ok, everything is $3 more than Walmart, but the only way you're going to get fresher anything, is to grow it or raise it yourself.

I worked at the original location in Pittsburgh years ago and I had to wait in the hallway while the grocery team was voting on new team members. When they were done a team member came out of the room and pointed at me and laughed, then he put his finger in his mouth and he put it in my ear and walked away laughing. I was let go not long after that. I will never forget that, it has always bothered me.

The cappuccino I bought in the in-store cafe was the worst tasting one I can ever recall having in my life.Aside from that I only buy items that aren't available anywhere else - all other foods cost about 5x their actual value

Great selection, but the prices are a bit high. I mean, it's a Whole Foods, so that's expected. The food bar and staff are really great.

It's a whole food that smells funny. Parking is in a garage, which is not too difficult to find. The location was better before the move. Sadly, with time, all things change. The Amazon drop-off kiosk was manned by two employees that went fast!

Good selection, okay prices (some are reasonable, some are quite high), Amazon returns. No firearms allowed, nice lighting, nice building in a sketchy neighborhood. Some basic foods, some premium. There's parking underneath the building, but not a lot of street parking.

Location is good but they should've never changed their water vendor from FreshPure to Primo. Not the same quality. Now I have to go to Wexford/Mt. Lebo when this one is so close to home. Sad
