Joe spent a great deal of time with us making sure my dog was comfortable with the whole process of wearing boots for the first time. He measured her paws, put on the boots while feeding her treats, and walked her around the store until she was used to them. Will definitely shop here again!

We took our new rescue dog in today to get some things and we are very grateful for all the help!! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and a true dog lover!! We were given a ton of helpful advice and got some great products for our furbaby Skyla!! She loved the store and him. He helped us measure her for the harness to correct her pulling and pick the right one. It instantly made a difference.If you want good quality products for your pets, this is the place to go!!!We love small local businesses and this is truly an asset to our neighborhood!! Excellent shop with a knowledgeable owner who loves dogs! Very friendly, helpful, and with an excellent selection of toys, treats, foods, chews and all the gear ( leashes, collars, harnesses, etc.) you need. Highly recommend this place. It is a regular stop for us, especially since rescuing a second puppy this year!

I love this place! My cat was having litter issues and I thought my house was going to melt from the smell. Came in and the guy at the register was super helpful, and not too forceful. Gave me two great litter recommendations that have truly saved my household. Prices are reasonable and comparable to what you find online. It's a little out of the way for us but 100% worth the trip!

Joe is very friendly, kind, and helpful. He takes the time to talk with you about your pet, their needs, and what you're looking for so that he can make the best recommendations. He even helped me size and fit a harness on my puppy when I brought her in!Wagsburgh keeps a great variety of food, treats, and basic health and hygiene supplies for cats and dogs. There's a good selection of toys too.Overall awesome store and fantastic customer service! I'm happy to frequent this local business for all my pet supply needs.

We just finished up the treats we purchased here a couple weeks ago and wanted to give a shout out to this awesome local doggy store!!! Staff and owner were super kind and helpful. We were visiting from out of town and continued to go back for their great selection and amazing service. Felt very much a sense of community and informed us about products they give to their own dogs. It was so fun to see the dogs that visit the store on the Instagram page.They even had little treat bags and samples to celebrate their 4 year anniversary of being in business. I hope for many more years of success to them and we'll be sure to stop by and stock up on supplies next time we're in town.

Very awesome pet supplies store in Pittsburgh. Don't be afraid to check out this place and support them as it is worth the drive and park. This locally owned business is well stocked and he is super friendly & knowledgeable.At the beginning of the pandemic an organization was started to help support restaurant workers, Wagsburgh donated dog & cat food for months, supporting hundreds of animals and their people.This company deserves our support.

I would give them 10 stars for customer service, knowledge of their product line ,experience & patience in handling a frisky 4 month old puppy who was not happy about getting fitted for a new harness. Our experience was great.Freddy was very calm during the entire ordeal. Supporting local shop owners is important to us as consumers, the service, that we got today,is the reason why Wagsburgh can count on our return business. Awesome shop with a very large inventory of food, toys and gear. There are a lot of things at Wagsburgh that you wont find at any of the large pet chains. The staff is extremely friendly. They offered to fit my golden retriever with a new harness so that I knew I was buying the right size. It was much appreciated.

First off, I was completely caught off guard by how much space and product is inside. You might be tempted to judge this book by the cover, but make no mistake. There is everything you need for your loved cat, dog, or any other pet inside this store. The owner (assume it was) was working the desk and so friendly and helpful. There is no need to drive to McKnight Rd or similar if you live in this area, this petstore has all your loved ones needs.

I was so happy when a pet shop opened up on the North Side! The owner, Joe, is great, and even ordered the specific dog food we use. He has a good selection of all the basics: grooming supplies, treats, food, and toys. Prices are comparable to other pet stores, and the customer service is waaaaaay better.

Awesome pet store in the heart of Deutsche Town. Owners are extremely friendly & attentive and pricing is on par with big box retailers.We stopped by today to get a free photo with the Easter Bunny. All donations were for a local rescue.We continue to support this place anytime we need pet supplies for our dog.

I'm very happy to see a high quality pet supply store on the Northside of Pittsburgh! As an owner of 3 older cats who require quality food, it is so convenient to have a store in our area. These are the best per ID tags ever made. They are deep into the metal, not scratchings on paint that wears off. They last and last. And with characters on both sides, we were not only able to put our address and family name, we could put all our phone numbers. We are returning customers and will never get tags anywhere else. Wagsburgh is fast and precise with excellent customer service!

Bought a harness for our 1y/o serious pulling machine dog. Wagsburg folks listened to our needs and fitted our guy into a harness that fit him perfectly. They are experienced experts and very professional! No more trips to Petsmart for us..we are happy Wagsburgh customers now and in the future!
