I have to express my disappointment with the customer service experience at this particular branch. On several occasions, I have witnessed unprofessional behavior from the staff, including rude responses and a generally unpleasant attitude towards customers. This is especially disappointing given that I have had positive experiences at other branches of Home Depot, where the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I hope that the management of this branch takes steps to improve staff training and the quality of customer service in the future

Lisa and Gerald in the paint department helped me out immensely with paint that I needed, and I was able to get a discount for taking some canceled paint job. It was great! Thank you so much. if all the employees were like these two, I would buy stock in Home Depot.

This store should never be shopped at by anyone. I prefer to shop in store.The paint department crew is ignorant,lazy,and rude. They want the customers to get off their phone while their talking to their boss about which materials to purchase. Then there's 3 of them that when asked where items are that spout an aisle number that's incorrect. After 3 attempts at gaining assistance one woman yells for a guy eating his lunch that's on his way to the bathroom. Yet she stood complaining about how long it felt until she could leave to 2 other employees. Then I asked for someone to help in the tool aisle. I need about 1500 dollars worth of pneumatic,battery operated, and corded tools. Again 2 employees say they'll get someone. 30 minutes went by while I stood at the front of those aisles next to milwaukee battery tools across from checkout looking at the guy I asked for help. No one came down. After 2 hours and 35 minutes and only getting 4 items of the 65 or so required for me to complete my repair contract I walked out. I'm a contractor of 20 years. I have a contractor account with home depot. As of today I'm canceling it. I'm also canceling the 100,000 dollar credit card in good standing and paid in full. This isn't my only bad experience as of late with home depot. IT'S ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!!!!

Made a whole trip out to buy paint. This location does not have any actual cashiers, it’s all self checkout. I asked the lady if any took cash, she assisted me and when I went to pay the register wouldn’t take my $50 bill. Nothing was wrong with it. The employee told me if they register won’t take it, Home Depot won’t accept it and there’s no way to complete my order unless I wanted to pay card. I didn’t want to pay card. They canceled my order and I walked out.Absolutely ridiculous that 1. We can’t have ACTUAL registers with ACTUAL people. And 2. In 2023 cash is DENIED. I will not be back to this place.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the East Liberty Home Depot! After my order with another local store couldn’t be fulfilled and was cancelled, the team at the East Liberty location went above and beyond to make sure my item was ordered and delivered within my timeframe. Thank you!

I get all my masonite panels for my oil paintings cut at the Home Depot. I typically get a 4 x 8 foot sheet of Masonite and have the staff cut it into 6 x 8“ panels. The staff is always very helpful and eager to assist. If you are an artist in need Of raw masonite panels, definitely consider coming to Home Depot to have the panels cut for you.

worst service out of any homedepot. as a contractor who spends almost 6 figures a year i will go out of my way to not go to this store. theres tons of employees but they do nothing except look at you. theres never any carts in the store for some reason. service always comes with a attitude. homedepot should do themselves a favor and close this store down its a embarrassment compared to the other stores where yiu actually receive service.

A lot of staff walking around in the store but you never seem to find someone who can help you. Or suddenly it seems all are on a break or they are never from the right department. Endless lines at the checkout. The store just doesn't seem to be well managed or organized.

Always well stocked. Friendly employees. If you're buying only a couple of things, use the app/web to locate where it is before you arrive. Then it's quick and simple to find with the aisle and bay numbers.And they have the car shopping carts for the little kids!

I would have rated it three stars a few months ago for the service and personnel there, but it seems to be getting better. Its convenient that's for sure and they keep their inventory up so you usually find what you need.

Visit this location was in the kitchen department for over an hour looking at refrigerators, stoves countertops there was six associates nearby not one of them asked if I Needed assistance I guess they didn’t see the movie pretty woman. I will take my business to Home Depot William Penn Highway. By the way, I’m remodeling my whole kitchen and dining room area

The only reason this is 5 stars is because of Ms. T in the paint department. She is the reason I continue to shop at Home Depot, and have made several visits/purchases in the past couple weeks. She was so willing to help, and guide me initially when I didn’t know too much about paint. She was patient and polite every one of the 7+ times I’ve dealt with her over the past couple weeks/months. She should be running this store and training all departments on how to provide excellent customer service. Maybe then they could follow Lowe’s example in the lack of theft and loss so they could fix their new ridiculously annoying check out system too.

They had no live cashiers and check out was 9 deep, they had three employees standing empty handed at customer service, when I asked if they would check me out they said no and pointed away saying that check out is down there. Used to be a courtesy to cash out a few items at customer service, seems those days are over almost everywhere I go. I dropped my items and left, I guess I’ll just use Amazon. Disappointed. *** edit*** called cooperate to complain, had the best customer service I’ve had in years, they had the manager himself call and apologize and offer to meet me if I come back and personally ensure I have a better experience, raised the rating by one star, because the incident did still occur but was resolved to satisfaction.

Trying to find a PVC blade the website says they have them. No one in the store seems to want to work with the customers. I find a piece of PVC pipe that’s perfect. I can’t find anyone that even knows where I can get the pipe cut for my needs.I will never come to this Home Depot again. I’ll do my business at Ace Hardware in Mt. Oliver instead. At least they’ll have what I need and are willing to help.

This place makes me sick I bought a stove on the 17th of this month and it was supposed to be delivered to my home on the 25th of this month so they give me a delivery window time of 3 to 7 pm for the delivery of my stove so I waited and waited and guess what it was 10pm and still nonstove then they lied and tried to say they were here as I'm on the phone asking were my stove is saying that they were at my house delivering it when clearly they were not then I got got talked to like I was lieing so now I have to make a trip all the way out there and I have cancer because they refused to cancel my order over the phone this the second time this delivery service was messed up when I ordered a washer and dryer set a few months back again I waited all day so I called they told me they forgot to put it on the truck but they never called me I had to call them so I'm warning everyone be careful when you buy anything from them they will take your money but they won't give you your order I rate them a negative 0 be ware of home depot

i wouldn`t mind spending my money here, but this is the worst home depot i`ve ever been in. the employees are unhelpful most of the time or really hard to find them (last time i waited 25 min to somebody who can operate the saw). multiple times i checked something online the website says they have in stock, when i try to find in the store they were out of it. the store is unkempt, often crowded, they left big packed pallets in the middle of the aisles or just totally close the aisles for hours. really if you can, just go somewhere else.

Some of the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I placed a curbside pickup order in the afternoon and came after work to pick it up. I followed all directions, checked in, and waited for 15 minutes while no one brought the order and I was the only car in the curbside parking spaces. I called, a woman told me the curbside pickup person left and asked if I checked in. I asked if someone could bring the order out, she hesitated and said she could. I waited for 10 more minutes while still no one brought out my order and I watched 3 employees talk in the parking lot. This isn’t my first bad experience here. Won’t make the same mistake again and will go to Ace from now on.

Went in here to purchase a pendant light. The amount of mouse dropping on the box and the smell of mouse urine made me nauseous. They need to do something about this and stop ignoring it. Maybe stop selling bird food because that's what the rodents are feasting upon.

East liberty is one of the worst home depots I've ever been too the employees are just pure lazy the shelves are often a mess ,.and either their completely out of stock of something online says they have or they do have it and its buried somewhere the store is always a mess .

Probably the worst home Depot I've ever been to. I'm not sure if it's because it is in the city and it's in the smaller side but I've never found what I needed. I am closer to the Home depot in Wilkins and this one on Highland Ave has definitely a smaller stock than any other home Depot I've been too. The garden center is kind of a joke.The staff is nice and helpful though so it's not all bad but overall there are better home depot stored.

Disgusting customer service. Asked for help lifting a toilet onto a cart. The worker says "what you mean you need help. You can't loft a toilet?" Never again will I go to this location. Home depot should be ashamed of themselves. Filing a formal complaint. Someone with a bad back can't lift 100 pounds and certainly shouldn't be judged by an employee.

Guy in lumber section very rude and unhelpful. Tried to buy 1/2 inch o.s.b. would not help in anyway to get it down off rack and told me I needed to buy something else . Asked lady at checkout counter to page a Manger. Stood there for half hr no one showed up

This is the least functional store I routinely interact with - due to not having a close by alternative.Around half of the time I go to buy something in person, that's listed available online, there ends up being zero stock in the store, and the employees never know where to look for more. Not sure if there are hiring issues that prevent inventory from being tracked, but it would be nice to not waste so much time there.
