I'm so grateful to have found this place! They have done a great job getting my puppy adjusted to daycare. He looks forward to every visit! He also had a very successful, long stay over Thanksgiving and the boarding crew took such great care of him. They are flexible to work with his needs to make sure he has a safe time while away from home. Thanks to the entire staff!

I called and made an appointment for a bath for my new rescue puppy who is 3 months old. I asked if she could be done earlier in the day as she is young but I wanted to expose her to the grooming process, and was told there would be no problem and they would note that in the file. I dropped her off at 9am and called at noon to get an ETA and was told she was being worked on then. I called again at 2:20pm to ask for an update and they said she was finishing up. It was 2:30 by the time she was ready and there was no explanation as to why it took 5.5 hours and they noted she was peeing a lot when she’s newly recused. I am very frustrated over the lack of explanation and attention to details and will not be using this service again.

Creature had a great time with his friends at Golden Bone! He came back happy, with a nice nail trim, and I’m pretty sure he got a bath too because he smelled really good. Also super affordable.He’s my first cat, and he’s a foster. It’s been really tough adjusting to cats when my life has revolved around dogs. But I’m glad to have Golden Bone in our little village to have somewhere safe and warm for my little goblin man when I need to go away.

I love Golden Bone!! I bring Riley here whenever I go on vacation, and I never feel like I have to worry or stress about it. I pay for the grooming and get to pick up a nice clean & happy dog!The staff is super cool and always friendly, thank you for everything!!!

This is the only place I will bring my dogs for grooming. They have been in business forever. They also support Girl Scouts. Get your cookies there while they last!

We first used The Golden Bone when we were going out of town for our niece's baby shower, but after seeing how well they took care of our pup...we didn't hesitate to call on them again! And trust me, as I have told them so many times-they have been a Godsend! We're in the process of moving, and they have been so helpful and supportive to us! At times being able to take our pup when we have back to back showings! He just loves Denita and she is wonderful with him!❤️💙 The entire staff is- we can't thank them enough!!!🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾

I walked into Golden Bone today to inquire about overnight stay and before I could ask all of the questions that I wanted to ask, Sarah was very cold and and very uncaring. I definitely didn't feel welcomed there and neither did my dog. Before we could even get through the door he started pulling away. DO NOT take your animal to this place! I ended up taking my dog to Pet Smart and got a wonderful reception and my dog walked in without hesitation.I'm African-American and I'm hoping it wasn't because of my race.

Absolutely wonderful place. Our Beagle has been going there often for years and is 16 now. I wouldn't trust him with anyone else at his age but they take so good care of him we can still travel without worrying too much.

My anxious 11yo miniature poodle mix is a homebody who needs his routine. He doesn't do well when left alone for more than a few hours. The Golden Bone has been my go-to for his grooming and boarding, and he does just fine. The staff are friendly and professional and clearly care about my dog - can definitely recommend!

This place used to be AMAZING! My dog Einstein loved it and his favorite person was Kristie. Since they let Kristie go, the place has fallen to shambles. She was the best part about the GB because she actually cared about the dogs and their owners. 💔 Never going back, as the care of my dog has gone extremely downhill. Such a shame, this place really use to be wonderful. SMH.

Golden Bone has taken care of our two family schnauzers. We always apologize as they’ve both shown to be nippers, and even with their sometime mean streaks, GB has given exceptional cuts and care. We only trust one place to groom our dogs...The Golden Bone.

The golden pet resort is great! I need to kennel my dogs occasionally to take family trips. One of my dogs has a food allergy and if he doesn't eat the right dog food he has serious intestinal issues for days. The Golden Bone Pet Resort has never messed this up! My dogs come home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend this place for kenneling needs.

I took my senior cat to get a few mats on his belly that were too hard for me to remove on my own. Emily did an amazing job in taking care of the mats and my little man. This was my first time at Golden Bone and I highly recommend them because you can see the love and care in the work that they do. Will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love The Golden Bone. We have been taking our dog for daycare and boarding here for over a year. We first brought him when he was only 4 months old and the socialization of day care has been great for him. The staff is friendly and fun and I can tell that they love our dog, they are always excited to see him and they even give him special treats to help coax him into my car since he hates car rides. He always has a blast at daycare and comes home exhausted from playing. When we leave him for boarding we feel like we are leaving him with friends. A great place to trust with the care of your dog!

LOVE THEM!! We just got a puppy a few months ago and brought him to Golden Bone. He loved it the first time and ever since. The staff is great and so nurturing to the dogs. Christie, the front desk woman, is amazing!! The groomers are great too! They love all of the dogs and give extra TLC to each and every one of them! Highly recommend and won't go anywhere else!

Our energetic Lab Cooper has been enjoying Golden Bone Pet Resort for nearly 10 years. The staff is consistently caring and treats Cooper like one of their own. Cooper struggled a little with an illness toward the end of a nearly week-long stay and they contacted us promptly and worked with us to assure arrangements for his comfort and care. He's home and happy now (happy there too - he just doesn't have the endurance he used to). Much appreciation. Thank you.

They took us last minute right before the holidays when we really needed a place. If you look at their website, you'll see a whole list of amenities/features that their building has. They also do work in the community for local rescues and greyhound rescue. The lady at the front desk was super friendly, and the facility appeared clean. When you walk in there is a separate small dog room with beds, but there are also private rooms for dogs as well. They provide free meals for boarded dogs or you can bring your own food, whether it's kibble, raw, frozen, microwavable, etc. I would take my dog back.

For more than about 20 years we’ve boarded dogs at the Golden Bone. These folks are professional, communicative, organized, and committed to the dogs’ well-being. We’ve generally boarded more than one at a time. They are well set up for this. They take the dogs out 4X a day, give them meds if required, and call if they have a question about a dog. Their professionalism makes our travel more pleasant.

My corgi Ruby loves the Golden Bone! We drive 15 miles out of our way past another kennel to board our dog. We have had such great experiences with them. The staff is courteous and professional and they make it so easy to make a reservation. The groomer does a great job with her nails and coat. We are repeat customers for life!

The front desk is truly the only issue we have had with Golden Bone. On the off chance our dog is actually able to be groomed, groomers have always listened and cut our dog exactly how we had asked. We always schedule our next appt prior to leaving to make sure our dog has something standing. THREE times the front desk has failed to schedule our dog and when we call to confirm, because we've learned this is something we have to do, they claim nothing is scheduled. Frustrating and annoying. If you have a dog that needs scheduled grooming appts due to long hair - this is not the place. Extremely upset I felt compelled to write this because the actual groomers are amazing.

We love Golden Bone! We have used them to board our dog several times. All the staff are professional and personable and don't seem to mind that our dog can be obnoxious (he's a barker). This last time we boarded him, we were moving and the process took longer than we expected. I kept calling Golden Bone to extend his visit by a day or two and they were able to accommodate us. We were so appreciative of their flexibility!

I take my dog here for grooming, occasional day care, and boarding. They do a great job over some of the other places I've tried before (like camp bow wow). Granted my dog never comes home tired like he did from there, but he comes home safe and always in a good mood. That's important since my dog can be a problem dog for others sometimes, but they do special accommodations to ensure he doesn't hurt other dogs (the other places never believed me, insisting he was a good dog, until inevitably something happened and then they would blame me). The staff here is very friendly and personable as well, and their prices are cheaper than the competition to boot. Also local (not some chain place). Lastly, they are the best groomer we've had so far by far by a long shot!

I just became a first time dog owner to my precious puppy who is currently 3 months old. I have taken her there for doggy daycare twice both times within a week and plan on taking her back in just a few days. I can't say enough on how wonderful the staff and facility is!!! Each employee there goes over and beyond taking care of each animal that comes through the doors. When I leave my Maya there, I know she will be given plenty of attention and have the best time, which makes me such a happy owner. If you are thinking of taking your pet here, do it, you won't regret it! 5-Stars!

I boarded my new dog here over the holidays for a week. She is very skittish and nervous around new people, so I had a lot of guilt leaving her. I can tell the staff took the time and effort to make her feel safe, as she looked comfortable around the staff and was happy to be patted by them on the day I picked her up. No issues and would use the boarding service again.

We took our dog to this resort for boarding. We specifically asked them to keep her in the play group room during the day (for extra $6 per day) since it was her first time and she doesn’t like to be in a kennel for a long amount of time. Turns out they DID NOT put her in the play room to play with other dogs and she was extremely scared and shaking when we picked her up!! She was also thirsty, hungry and thiner as if they hadn’t even fed her for a few days!! Our dog has been having bad dreams since we took her back home! :(((PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR DOGS TO THIS FACILITY!!

This is a great place to take your dog. I have been taking my Dashound (long john) there for years now. Every time I pick my dog up he is clean and well taken care of. My dog has to get shots twice a day and they took care of this for me. The staff is very professional and cares a lot about the dogs. They have a whole bunch of grey hounds in the lobby. I recommend them to all of my friends.

We traveled from Chicago to visit our niece and nephew and brought our pet with us. She spent the week at The Golden Bone and really enjoyed her resort experience!!! Everyone was so wonderful and kind. We felt very comfortable leaving her for the week and know she was well taken care of and looked beautiful when we picked her up! Thank you to all at The Golden Bone! We would for sure contact them again for our next visit!!!

I took my Scottish Terrier to Golden Bone for a Spa day. Danielle was great and discussing my grooming options since my Scottie has a softer coat than a traditional Terrier and thus is not a candidate for the hand stripping technique. My pup Sadie greatly enjoyed her morning of pampering and her cut was exactly what I was expecting. I will continue to bring Sadie to Danielle for future grooming needs. I also appreciated the fact that Danielle didn't force me into any grooming routine and was transparent about the needs of grooming for Scotties in general as well as for Sadie's coat. The only reason why I don't have my next appointment scheduled is because we don't know how fast Sadie's hair will grow back and Danielle didn't want me to commit to a grooming date that was sooner than Sadie needs. Great attention to detail, prompt scheduling! Only suggest I have is for them to get a dog scale. It would be fun to have a before/after weight to see just how much of our pups is fur/hair! This would just be a nice added bonus :).
