So many reptile species I've never seen anywhere else-- and I regularly attend local reptile shows. From womas to boelen's pythons, these folks know snakes. I do wish they had more supplies for naturalistic enclosures and a wider variety of lighting options.

I wanted to wait to write a review just to make sure everything went smoothly.Back in May, I purchased a Merauke blue tongue skink from this establishment.They are really big on captive bred/born, which was a huge plus since BTS are often wild caught/bred.They let me hold him and look him over and were very informative on his needs, with the few questions I had after my research.Now here we are and Wilson has an extremely calm demeanor, he’s a good eater, and he’s as healthy as can be! Thank y’all for my new friend!!!

Great staff, like family! Knew exactly what our extended family would thrive and grow with! Beautiful selection for the entire store! Svetlana is happy and super friendly and we can't wait till she gets bigger 😊! Got all the supplies we needed for our baby there!

Wanted to get my daughter a frog for Christmas. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Took the time to explain exactly how to care for him. Was able to pick up Christmas Eve so it remained the perfect surprise. Will be buying our next friend from them as well.

I was visiting family and heard this place had a large selection of tarantulas so decided to stop in while i was in town. My aunt uncle and our children walk in and were immediately greeted which was the only nice thing they did while we were there... they had an isreali huntsman mislabeled as an Egyptian i was going to buy and we were all looking around when i overheard the owner wispers to her employee this is a pet shop not a zoo with a snarkey attitude!! The more we looked the worse the attitudes got and the worse the care and husbandry of all the animals became...They had multiple flame leg and other species of tarantula that were missing legs or had no hair left on their abdomen from being extremely stressed out all the water dishes had cotton balls in them so they obviously had no idea about care and husbandry of spiders super overpriced and unhealthy spiders!!! I do not recommend anyone supporting this shop!!! And as badly as i wanted that huntsman and to rescue it from these uncaring rude greedy people i couldnt bring myself to support this place after the way they treated us and their animals... they are obviously in it dor the miney and have zero concern for their customer's or their animals!!

Brought this little guy home yesterday! The staff is very kind and knowledgeable! They answered all of my questions and even taught me some new things! They personally hand-raise their birds. They will show you documentation for any bird you ask about. Hatch date and baby pictures are a definite plus! They even gave me a framed baby picture of Thatcher! Very happy with this place! Would strongly recommend and WILL definitely return for more! They also offer grooming for birds and they also bird sit!

The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of Anthony. He was great with us and our kids and took time to help us and show us some lizards. We are in the beginning stages of planning for a lizard and are doing research. We stopped in and he was very willing to help and provide information as much as possible.With that said, the other lady (who I’m assuming was a manager, boss, or possibly owner) seemed more annoyed that we were there and taking up Anthony’s time. She seemed very snarky and it just seemed like she tried pulling Anthony away from us to do what she wanted him to do. At one point, it seemed like she over heard us talking to Anthony and was then trying to tell him what to tell us as she seemed to not have time to help.Based on our research, we have an idea of what we should be spending and it seems like they are priced 2-3 times more than what we have found. And that isn’t based on prices for stuff at PetSmart and chain stores. They told us they would build the entire habitat for us, but it seemed like we would be receiving a minimalistic habitat which would be expensive. For what they quoted for a 20 gallon enclosure, we can build our own 40 gallon which will be much better.We will definitely be shopping around as our overall first impression was that they are very expensive, not focused on value and not focused on serving the customer to the best of their ability.

I always enjoy coming here to find out if there is any new exotic birds available. They can be a bit pricey but sometimes you can find some deals.Staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the animals.

EDIT: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. My fist visit to this place was awesome! The second time.. not so much. The woman with short black hair, who I believe may be the owner, is the most rude human being on the entire planet. Have you ever heard of making your customers feel welcome? When you walk in, it feels like you aren't even supposed to be there cause no one says hi! The place is overpriced by about $5 per item if not more. The ONLY reason I'll be coming here is to hang out with the awesome birds! Jeff is the only member of the staff that's even worthy of talking too... -Oh & @Thomas Shirley - You shouldn't have bought it in the first place if you cant even spell TORTOISE

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM!!! RACHEL KNEW MY COCKATIEL CHIPPY WHO THEY SOLD ME, WAS MISSING. AN OLDER COUPLE FOUND HIM THE DAY AFTER I TALKED TO RACHEL THAT MY CHIPPY WAS MISSING. SHE GROOMED HIM AND OUTFITED HIM WITH A CAGE$$$$$$ SO THEY COULD GIVE MY, MY BELOVED BIRD TO THIER GRANDDAUGHTER. I STILL MISS HIM PROFOUNDLY. SHE IS TOTALY INETHICAL. I STILL CRY FROM MISSING HIM....WE HAD A TIGHT BOND.9

They have a nice collection of reptiles but when it come to the birds who actually need real care and attention they’re severely lacking, birds are not friendly because they just let them sit there

This place is very clean and very organized. The people who work here are always so friendly and helpful of you have any questions. We have bought a Rat Snake and Frog here, which one of the gentleman were so helpful on tips to properly take care of the snake. We always get frozen mice and crickets for our animals here because I have noticed if I do not get my crickets here and get them somewhere else I get less then what I get here.

I own many different snakes and spiders and have for over 15 years and in all the pet places I've been this is hands down the most expensive place I've ever seen. They have nice stuff that are practical joke expensive. This place is a rip off DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. Go to a reptile show and get what you want. This place was a joke and a waste of my time. I only gave 1 stars because they do have a lot of stuff. Oh and a salesman got caught up trying to lie about the price of a snake by 300 dollars. Complete bunch of jerks

Visited the store yesterday and came home with a new pet bird. Very clean shop and well taken care of animals. The shop was vey busy but the owner took her time with us. She was very knowledgeable about her birds and very informative about the different birds available. She helped us make the best choice for us. Very pleased with our new family member. I highly recommend this place. It was well worth our hour drive to get there.

We went and was able to sit with the cockatiels to find the one that was the right fit for us. We went there to get only one but went home with 2. And we couldnt be happier with our little buddies.The staff was super friendly, answered all our questions and let us take our time.*update* Just over a month and a half of having our birds at home and we found out that one of them is a female. At the store we was told that she was a 2yr old male that had been recently retired from being a breeding male. Also from what the band on her leg says, she is 5yrs old. Not 2.

My mother purchased a female "purple passion" bearded dragon for 1200$ after the owner guaranteed she was one ofb2 in the world well he ultimately turned out to be a male snowbat best. When we asked for consumption even with our documents she accosted us and called psycho and crazy. Rachael is her name and they make their bird and reptiles insanely they need boycotted. It's a shame that such and angry person has any power. Well good bless future clients but I'd stay away.

This place is awesome. Stopped by today with my partner and it was quite an experience. They have lots of birds, snakes and lizards. The guy we worked with was very nice and was super educational. Would 10/10 recommend and I will be back.

Our family has 3 reptiles. There's no better, more comprehensive, and knowledgeable spot around. These folks know and care about reptiles. Stay away from the corporate big-box stores. Spend local. Go to the Enclosure.

They generously care for their animals with meticulous hands, ensuring whomsoever should be lucky enough to take one home, would never want for anything more. We were fortunate enough to stop by on a whim and left being the proud new pet parents to two darling cockatiels. We loved our experience with The Enclosure and highly recommend their services and pets to all. The only things you'll find stripping here are shedding skin and molting feathers! 😉
