We have been taking our dog to Megan at the South Hills Dog Stop for his grooming since he was a puppy (he's 3 now). Remy is a poodle mix, so his fur can be challenging. Megan has always done such a great job. She's attentive and addresses any questions we have. She also takes cute photos and sends them to us when he's finished, notifying us when he is done and ready to be picked up. We (Remy too) love Ms. Megan!

Megan grooms our dog and cat! Our dog is a Maltese and our Cat ( difficult to groom) very furry. They both looked gorgeous after their grooming! She adds a personal touch and asks about them to help her understand them more and what we are hoping to achieve as far as grooming. We have been coming to the dog stop for over two years at this location and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and super caring for every person and dog that comes through the door. We have a monthly membership for daycare, as we both work out of the home most of the week, and our dog absolutely loves going and seeing the workers and his dog friends. We are extremely happy to have found a place with such a convenient location and a place that both we and our pup love.

I cannot say enough great things about this Dog Stop location. We have only been taking our puppy here for about a month now, and the staff has gone above and beyond to help our dog, and us, feel welcomed and comfortable leaving him in their care. They make us feel like our dog is one of their own. We do our daycare, grooming (HUGE shoutout to Megan) and boarding here. It truly is a one stop shop and we could not be more thankful. To the entire team, thank you so much!

I had to board my dog for the first time since rescuing her. It was difficult to be separated from her, but Dog Stop made it an easy process and treated her so well. We really liked being able to see her on the camera to check in on her. I would definitely recommend them!

Ellie’s my German Shepard has been coming here for years! The staff go above and beyond to make there 2 legged and 4 legged customers feel appreciated and make everything as simple and easy as possible. My pup enjoys coming here and all the staff know her and treat her incredibly well! If you haven’t given The Dog Stop a chance you won’t be sorry!

We initially had a great grooming experience at The Dog Stop and loved the friendliness of the employees. Unfortunately, our dog became EXTREMELY itchy within 24 hours of us bringing him home last Monday. He had trouble sleeping, didn't want to play and couldn't even go for a walk due to his constant itching. I understand it's common for some skin irritation after a grooming session and it was his first, so I looked him over thoroughly on Tuesday and couldn't find anything problematic. Well, Wednesday morning he woke up with visible skin irritation in a highly sensitive spot. I called The Dog Stop just to see if there was anything I/they could do to ease his discomfort. They were very apologetic and made note in his file that he has sensitive skin and asked me to bring him in for a complimentary medicated bath and ointment. Sounds good and reasonable, right? I dropped off my dog after taking one of my kids to summer camp. I was told he'd be ready in 2 hours or less. Three hours later, I had yet to receive a phone call. I figured maybe they were super busy or backed up, so I opted to just stop by after I picked up my son at camp. The woman at the front desk told me he had been ready for over an hour, and she "forgot" to call me. I was then handed a used and almost empty bottle of skin ointment with a "best if used by" date of 1/18/2021. Of course, I didn't notice the BIYB date or how dirty the applicator was until after we got home.....One assumes a groomer provides customers with fresh, quality products. Dried spices can last well past their prime, but ointments? No way. The icing on the cake is I noticed later that night my dog's expensive flea collar was missing as well. I called The Dog Stop to let them know how dissatisfied I was with everything and have yet to receive a response. Suffice to say, we certainly won't be coming back after our experience.

We brought our Golden Retriever here for what we thought was a normal grooming and nail trim but instead we arrived to see they completely shaved her down. The staff was very friendly but I am very disappointed as it will take months for her to regrow her coat. I hope no damage is done to her skin / coat.

I have been taking Ozzy to the Dog Stop for several years and love the facility and staff.The staff are very friendly and make sure that if there is something that I need to know about how Ozzy's day went (sometimes he needs a time out) they tell me. They also know when he just needs a break, and take him out of the playroom and let him relax before he gets overstimulated.Ozzy gets very excited when we pull in the parking lot, so i know that he enjoys daycare.I would recommend the Dog Stop (and I have) to anyone looking for daycare for their dog.

My doggo loves this daycare! They take very good care of the dogs - my dog has never been hurt under their care. They are clean and caring. We love the employees especially because they know us on site and will go get our pup from the back without needing us to tell them which dog it is.

We switched to the Dog Stop South Hills when our other day care closed, after a few days Corby felt right a home! The staff is great and always accommodating. Also nice to be able to get treats and other supplies right there.

We have been using this Dog Stop for 4+ years and we and Zoe (boxer/black lab) have completely enjoyed the experience. Zoe never complains when we drop her off for boarding.The staff is attentive, responsible, and eager to please. We have had to alter schedules a few times and it was never a problem.

We just moved to town and were a little nervous about being able to find a place that we loved as much as our dogs’ last daycare. The Dog Stop has been a great experience since the moment we contacted them! Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Our pups were SO EXCITED to be dropped off the second time, so they must have had a great first day :D

We LOVE Patty. She does an excellent job with Ginny, our Goldendoodle. We no longer live in Pittsburgh, but all of our family is there. When we come into town the first appointment I make is with Patty at THE DOG STOP. That way Ginny is fresh and clean and trimmed for our visit to family and friends. Highly recommend!

It was our first time using the Dog Stop's Grooming services. We switched to this company since it was more conveniently located to our home, and also had better prices. We also were able to utilize the full punch card for 20% off services. Megan did an amazing job grooming my pup. When we picked her up, she looked so adorable and was happy and relaxed. It is probably the best groom our dog ever has received. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here!

We love this for our doggie day care needs - easy to do add ons like nail trims or baths - and the staff clearly love dogs a lot. I love that you can check in on the doggie cams to see how your puppy is doing. Pricing is reasonable and the store has a bunch of great finds

I wish I could give more stars! I've been taking my dog Max to The Dog Stop for 5 months now. He's a puppy so I was nervous to have him start daycare when I went back to the office some days of the week - but he loves it! The staff is really incredible and are always very kind and professional. I trust that he is in safe hands during daycare. He's been boarded there a few times while we have been out of town and that was also a great experience. They have pup cams which are great as well. We truly appreciate all they do! Highly recommend.

My dog Charlotte and I have been going to the Dog Stop since she was tiny! She was super nervous at first but all of the staff is SO wonderful and attentive. When we switched locations to the South Hills Dog Stop, at first I was nervous for her to make the change but every single person there treated me and my Lottie like family. I would always recommend 20/10 if possible. During the day and while you’re away you never want to worry that your dog is taken care of, and they always provide that peace of mind.

We see Megan at the Dog Stop for grooming for our rough collie. He's got quite a lot of fur, as you can imagine. She has been taking care of him for a little over a year and we are very happy with her grooming skills. I also know that she's always doing more training to get better at her profession. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for a groomer in the area!We also boarded our dog at the Dog Stop for a couple of nights (unusual for us) and they took good care of him. He was so comfortable he even ate on his first day there. And they were totally understanding when I called to check in on how he was doing.

We love the West Liberty Dog Stop! They have been taking care of our dog Parker since he was a puppy. He's spent a lot of time there for both daycare and boarding and we've always been so happy with his care. The staff are lovely - grateful to have this great place close by.
