Our dog seemed to thoroughly enjoy her time there. When greeted in the early morning, the staff was ready to handle her playfulness, and when picking her up they gave us a nice rundown of the day with her as it was her first time. She seemed very happy when picked up, but also seemed like she wanted to go back in and play which is a good sign.

Left Nala for a week during the holidays and couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was my first time as I don't live in the Pittsburgh area, so new places are always a worry when it comes to my pup. Scheduling was easy, staff were friendly, and pickup was a breeze. Nala looked great and healthy when I picked her up, so I knew she ate well and was well taken care of. I will use again next time I'm in town!

Melissa is the best groomer! My husky is very dramatic and picky about being touched and she does a beautiful job with him each time. He is totally obsessed with her and jumps happily into the car when it’s time. A true lifesaver, I couldn’t ask for more.

Hello: I was just on the site for the Dog Stop-Upper St. Clair. I would watch on your dog cam to see how the employees react to your pets I was thinking about doing this for my Berniedoodle. All I saw in the one room that look like a female employee just walking around the pen only two bowls of water for 10 dogs she never interacted with the pets just walked around.. STRIKE ONE! then I looked into the other area none of the dogs where outside in the sunlight playing STRIKE TWO!! then took look at another area there was a guy in there with about 12-15 dogs some outside sitting he just walked around looking miserable took one of the dog bowls of water held it in his hand and what I saw only one bowl of water for all those dogs instead of filling the bowl up with water he just stood there. STRIKE THREE!! NO THANK YOU!! PEOPLE YOU BETTER KEEP EYE ON THE CAMS.. JUST SAYING..

Had a great experience with the dog stop,we have 2 dogs,one that can be difficult. When we picked them up,they were happy to see us (which is normal) but no anxiety !!

I have been taking my 3 year old Golden Retriever puppy, Mona to the Dog Stop, Upper Saint Clair for a year now. I take her once a week just for socialization and play and any time I'm going to be away, I take her for boarding. Occassionally, I will sign her up for the Splash Park, which she also loves. She gets a nice bath and her nails cut from time to time. The staff takes such good care of her and I can see how much they love her and it's obvious how much Mona loves them all as well. Each staff member is so friendly and professional - I would never leave my puppy with anyone unless I was 100% comfortable. I trust them with her life. The owner, Diane obviously does a great job finding the right people, and is a very hands on team player herself. I love that I can check on Mona anytime I want on the app, to see her playing. Twice now I have been injured and the team has rushed out to my car to get Mona for me without me even having to ask. I will never trust another place. Highly recommend!

We take our dog here once a week for socializing and play time. Wilson absolutely loves it and everyone remembers him by name when we come in. The staff is always very welcoming.We’ve also put Wilson through two levels of their puppy training classes and it has worked wonders for him. Jake, the trainer, has a great approach to dogs and is great at getting results.

The Dog Stop Upper St. Clair is always kind to my little dog, Case. They take great care of him both in daycare and boarding. They get extra points because he is usually very squirmy during grooming; however, their groomer went out of the way to build trust with him and he sits well for grooming with her.

We LOVE taking our dog to The Dog Stop in Upper St Clair. Our dog is happy going there. He is clearly well loved by the people there, and he is happy to go and spend time with friends. We can watch him playing and napping (he loves to lie there and watch the other dogs, and we feel it’s a clear sign how comfortable he is). We are happy to board him there when needed, and they take great care of him. Definitely recommend!

Do not recommend, which is a shame b/c they used to be good. Our dog was there last week while we were on vacation, and they called us and said we had to pick up our dog because they were closing due to kennel cough. So being a 1,000 miles away we had to find alternate plans for our dog mid week. And their response was too bad/ not our problem / you should have had a backup plan. Obviously this place can't be trusted for your boarding needs, and my dog now has kennel cough. It's a filthy dump that's poorly run and should be closed down. Do not trust them with your pet.

In March, we boarded our dog to go on vacation. We received a call on Sunday afternoon (4 days after dropping him off and 1 day before we were set to return) that they had a case of kennel cough that appeared in another dog on Thursday, and now our dog was coughing too. We got a call the next morning as we were getting ready to fly home that he was very very sick and that he needed medical attention. We asked them to contact our vet, but they took him the MedVet instead. We are so grateful he survived the ordeal, but a 5 night stay and $11,000 in medical bills later, Dog Stop never even checked on him nor offered any apology for the neglect. They claimed zero responsibility. Our dog had just had a check up and was 100% healthy going in. Who knows how long he was actually sick before they thought to contact us. Wish we could give 0 stars. Do not trust them.

We came from another local trainer after being told our 20 week old puppy should be rehomed after some stranger danger / resource guarding / nipping at our previous trainer. Our previous trainer never attempted to offer her services addressing these concerns. We explained the situation to Jake at the Dog Stop and he has been incredible with our pup so far. We are excited to learn as dog owners so we can make our pup as successful as we know she can be.

We used to take our dog pre-2020 several times a week and loved it. We had purchased a 20 visit package prior to the pandemic. When COVID hit, we no longer needed to take our dog to daycare due to us working from home. We took our dog back in February of 2023 just for one day since my husband is starting to go back into the office. They told us our package had expired and therefore we were out the $300+ the package had costed us. The female owner informed us they were under new management and was incredibly rude and unprofessional on the phone as I addressed this.A few days after our dogs visit, he came down with a severe case of kennel cough. It has now worsened to pneumonia. They did not notify us about kennel cough until 5 days after his visit and remained open. Our dog is a 3 year old lab and should recover just fine. However due to our experience with the new owner and our most recent visit, we will never return nor will we recommend The Dog Stop Upper St. Clair.

We take our dog down to the dog stop usually 3 days a week for daycare. The staff loves our guy and takes great care of him. He has a blast and comes home wiped out after a fun day. The camera feeds on their app are fun to watch the dogs play and have fun! We have boarded him there as well and again same great experience. We’ve been loyal customers and will continue to be!!!

We have had a great experience at The Dog Stop in USC for daycare, boarding, and especially puppy classes. We enrolled our 4 month old puppy into classes with the trainer, Mike. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and the experience was great - our puppy was able to socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment as well as learn many commands and techniques for training. They also offer agility classes which we are excited to enroll our Aussie in in the future. All of the staff has been wonderful and very nice! To be able to watch your dog on the video cams while they are at daycare and boarding is awesome too. Lastly, everything is super easy to book/schedule through the mobile app which is very convenient and The Dog Stop is always very responsive.

Once again, The Dog Stop rocked it with Diego’s boarding! We love taking him there and knowing he is in the best hands that aren’t ours! We love that we can check in on him through the pup cams and see him playing with all the other dogs. I also love being able to add on an exit bath at the end of his boarding so that is one less thing I have to worry about after coming back! We LOVE The Dog Stop!!

Great place! When taking my dog there she was so happy to be there she dragged my hubby to the door and that was only her second day. I feel happy being able to look at the cameras and watch her play. Little disappointed they don't have cameras outside tho. Also like that you don't have to make an appointment to tour the place you could just show up and see what's going on inside. It makes me feel like they don't have anything to hide. Also they deep clean the facility every single night. Great place, great people your dogs will surely love this place! Highly recommend

The Dog Stop at Upper St Clair is our dog's home away from home! When he hears us grab his leash and our car keys, he knows he's going to spend the day with his canine and human buddies! Brad and the folks there really do love and care for their daycare and overnight guests, treating them like family. We love how excited our boy gets when we pull into the parking lot. We relax when we're out of town too, knowing that he is staying at a safe, clean, and warm environment. If you haven't tried the Dog Stop, you should. You'll be hooked, just like we are!

My dog NEEDS to have opportunities to play with other dogs. The Dog Stop USC is fabulous. I never worry about her when she is there. She comes home a happy, tired girl. I’ve also boarded her overnight and they take excellent care of her while she is there. I highly recommend!

The Dog Stop Upper St. Clair is fantastic! We use the daycare, boarding and water park services for our dog Dug. He's always excited to go in and play, and when we pick him up, he's tired and happy. I can't say enough positive things about the people that work there. They really go above and beyond. It's nice to drop my dog off, knowing that he will be well cared for and loved while we're away!

I have been taking my pups to the dog stop for a few years now after we had a bad experience at another kennel. I don’t even like saying “Kennel” when talking about The Dog Stop, because I feel like I am taking them to a friends house because they take such good care of my babies…I know they get so much attention and really care for them. They talk about them as if they were their own pups. It make me feel a little more at ease when we take them to day care or for an overnighter. Thank You!

Stefanie is really the best there is! When I moved to Pittsburgh, I was referred to Stefanie by a friend of mine. She always does a great job with grooming Oscar, and I could not ask for more! I am always reassured to know that such a gentle and caring person takes care of my dog.

We are new puppy owners and this past weekend we decided to board our pup Bojangles at this Dog Stop location. We admittedly didn't know what to expect and were a little hesitant (again, we'd never done this before) but to say that our experience was awesome would be an understatement. We dropped Bo off to an incredibly friendly associate. She made our pup feel so welcomed and he was so excited. The check-in process was quick and painless. As soon as we got home, we checked the puppy cams and after a few minutes of looking through the different cameras, who did we find literally staring at the camera but our sweet Bo! We Airplayed the camera to our TV and the kids watched him play and interact for about 30 minutes. We were laughing at his antics and felt so reassured with him being there when we saw the handlers rubbing his head and patting him on the back. The next day my daughter and I picked him up and we could just tell he had the best time. The staff made everything wonderful from start to finish, gave us so many compliments about him and his behavior, and welcomed us back any time. I would highly recommend this Dog Stop location to anyone looking for a place for their pup to hang out - it's a fantastic experience with fantastic people.

I really have enjoyed using the dog stop! my pup loves daycare there and i love that they have easily accessible cameras in the play rooms so i can check on her throughout the day. the pricing is also very reasonable.
