I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff! My dog was really anxious one day, which is not typical & very strange, but they were so kind to him and me and took the time to make sure he was comfortable. I also got my dog groomed here and he looks wonderful! The cost is great. I would highly suggest bringing your dog here!

Everyone that works here is always so nice and plesant. My dog absolutely loves everyone we've encountered here! After some bad experiences at other local groomers, we will only be coming to this dog stop for grooming and boarding, should we ever need it. My dog always comes home looking and smelling amazing, and the service is fast and affordable. Highly reccomend!

I recently took my Caviler King Charles Spaniel, Momo, to the Dog Stop Grooming Center and I couldn't be happier with the results! The staff was friendly and professional, and they did an excellent job grooming my furry friend. Momo came back looking and smelling fresh and clean, with a beautifully trimmed coat and neat paws and nails. The grooming facility was clean and well-maintained, and I was impressed by the attention to detail given to each and every dog.

My dog Baxter had a great time here while I was away on vacation. The staff were friendly and seemed to truly care for my dog. The pup cams were helpful and allowed me to see Baxter having a good time with the other dogs.

The Dog Stop is great! Even though our pup is not there every day, the staff recognizes him when he arrives and is always happy to see him. We love being able to see him on the Pup Cam. When he stays overnight, we always receive his items (leash, blanket) back in good condition. They've alerted us when there's been any kind of issue (like a sore on his paw) and have discussed any care options. The staff is great with pets but also with us as owners, and it's a great comfort to us knowing that when he is there, he is staying with someone we trust.

My fiance and I had to come to Pittsburgh extremely last minute to visit my mom at Shadyside hospital after a very tough surgery. We needed a place to board our dogs and we took them here. Everybody we came in contact with was incredibly sweet, caring and knowledgeable about dogs. Their prices are amazing compared to some other places we have taken our dogs. I am beyond grateful for them taking our dogs in and taking phenomenal care of them. Thank you ❤️

Our little rescue puppy likes to bite so much, we were asked to leave two grooming salons, but The Dog Stop on Washington Boulevard was happy to groom him. Wesley, the groomer, has the same breed dog, so he handled our puppy's grooming session like a champ. When we picked up our puppy, he was wearing a little plaid bowtie and he looked adorable. We will definitely be taking our puppy back to The Dog Stop to be groomed. Thank you, Wesley!

We had our dog stay overnight for three nights while we were away. In the past, we have had her there during the day on several occasions. We have had no problems at all with her stay there. The only thing I know is she is tired when she comes home!

I boarded my two more challenging pups over a holiday weekend at the East End Location of the Dog Stop. I was visiting from out of town and called in advance to make sure they could accommodate my some times reactive/difficult dog during a hectic weekend. The Manager was re-assuring that they would take it slow and have alternate accommodations if he was not a good fit for daycare. When I got there and dropped my pups off, I was again reassured that they had everything set up for all scenarios. They gave my pups some decompress time before introducing them to the daycare gang and my pup did great. They reminded me I could check the cameras whenever id like to feel more comfortable. They took great care of my pups and neither wanted to leave when I came to pick them up the next morning. Never once did they make me feel bad for being a crazy anxious dog mom. They took great care of my dogs and I am very relieved to know I can come out for vacation and give them some time off too!

The employees couldn't be nicer and the Groomer (Wesley) is very talented. It was our dog's best haircut yet. We will be bringer her in to be groomed, moving forward. I could not be happier with their service.

I moved from Erie to Pittsburgh in December and wanted to connect with a reputable doggie day care. My colleagues all cited The Dog Stop! From the first week I brought Oakley, the staff have called him by name, learned his personality, and give me stories of how he did during the day. Additionally, the Dog Stop offers in-home sitting as well. It is so wonderful to have a “one stop” locale for all things dog related - boarding, day care, grooming, in-home sitting, etc! I am so thankful I chose the Dog Stop. Will continue to bring Oakley for years and years to come!!

This is not at all the closest place for me to take my two dogs for grooming or boarding, but I would absolutely not even consider going anywhere else! Not only do my dogs look amazing after being groomed here, but I have total confidence that they are being treated good and without injury which they received being groomed somewhere else. I just boarded my two babies here last week, for the first time ever and was SO nervous, but it went wonderful! And my dogs came back happy, healthy and on a wonderful schedule. It also helped with my Aussie's socialization skills which was so appreciated! This place is the best <3

This place is incredible! My frenchie didn’t do well at his other daycare so I was told to try the enrichment program here at the East End Dog Stop and I am so glad I did! Not only is he doing so much better interacting with other dogs, but he absolutely loves when I drop him off, and I get videos/pictures from the trainer. The staff is so nice and has been so accommodating with my busy schedule!

Absolutely amazing kennel, I had to get my dog in quickly to board due to an emergency at home and not only did they get me in the very next day, but put me on a waitlist in case a spot opened up on that same day. They took great care of my dog and made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience, can't recommend enough.

I have been taking my sweet, Athena Rose here ever since she adopted us😉. We love the service. You can genuinely tell everyone that works here, not only loves animals, but treats each and every pet as there own during the stay. The puppy Cam gives you peace of mind, when you can peep in on your dog socializing and playing. The staff has always been very accommodating whenever I have needed to set up boarding or grooming services. I only take my Athena to their groomer, she is exquisite! We have been happy customers for 6 and a half years now!

When we put our pups in boarding, they are always excited to go. That’s a good sign. Staff is always very friendly and you can tell they care about their customer’s animals. I’ve received nice calls from staff letting us know how the pups are doing while we are away. Scheduling boarding online is super simple.They have a great selection of dog food, all of the good stuff and it’s always stocked. And we appreciate the rewards program.

I had been taking my GSD Kira to the Strip District location for more than a year, but when I changed jobs, the East End was much closer. I am just as happy with the quality of this location. You can tell that everyone who works there really loves animals, and they're dedicated to providing a top quality service. I like that the dogs get to go outside at this location, and I'm still a top fan of the cameras!

The staff is very welcoming and very friendly and very accommodating. I have two dogs that I have to board at the same time and they are a handful. When I call to check on my dogs, I get a call back immediately telling me how good or how mischievous my doggies have been. I love the honesty.

I highly recommend The Dog Stop!!! Phenomenal customer service for both fur babies and parents. Checking the pet cam I see our pups getting pets and the exit bath actually had them smelling fresh and clean! Thank you!

Jenni is amazing!! She's professional, efficient, and super friendly -- both to us humans and to our dogs!! The whole staff is great! I especially love the PupCams. We take a few extended trips every year and are NEVER concerned about Alice's care. Even when I don't have any service and can't use the PupCamps (or Alice is outside or otherwise not visible), I know she's having lots of fun. Alice loves the Dog Stop and Jenni & her staff love her!
