This is one of the best stores ever! Plan on going when you can spend some time here. I went with a friend who was getting some things for her remodeled kitchen, with NO intention of buying anything, and walked out with two items....😏😏😏. The staff is wonderful, and we got the most help from an employee who stayed with us and showed us out to outfit some drawers on the new cabinets. I was duly impressed, and when we weren't able to get what my friend wanted because they don't carry it, the cashier suggested that we go across the street to the Home store, where we might find what we needed. This was a lovely shopping experience and we will definitely be back. Try it, I think anyone would enjoy the experience.

They have a lot of options for containing stuff in your house. But their prices are a little high in my opinion.I walked around to see if anything really caught my eye as something I needed. Didn't find anything particularly for me. But I did come away with the desire to better organize my office.

I had the most awkward space under my stairs that I wanted to use for yarn and fiber storage, and the employees here knew the products in their store like the back of their hands. They helped me find exactly what I needed in about 5 minutes.

We stopped in to the Container Store on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh to pick up a few small items. While we were there, we noticed that Metro shelving was 25% off. Eileen and Shelby could not have been more helpful to us. They helped us decide what arrangement we needed and they both went the extra mile to ensure that all of the bits would be delivered to our home. Very grateful for their expertise and so excited to get our garage in order!

We love going in here. The prices are high, but they do have a lot of stuff you can’t find in regular stores. I’m not a fan of this plaza, which stops me from going here more. It’s very chaotic and parking is limited.

This store sells a large variety of containers for all rooms of the house. Lots of plastic storage bins, woven baskets, trash cans, shelves, filing cabinets, makeup organizers, hampers, jewelry boxes, custom closets, etc. The prices, though, can be high.

This place is so organized you literally cannot contain yourself when you go in. They have a ton of nifty and extremely useful products that you would never have realized you needed in your life until going there. I love the place, I am currently working with them to design a walk in closet with their Elfa product. I highly recommend you go into the store, they are super helpful and really help you picture your design much better than trying to design online by yourself!

I just walked into store all Excited to checkout the store . It’s all clean . Prices are a bit high but understandable considering the size of the store . What made meUpset was the rude staff. I hear them welcoming the local People with hellos and how can they help them and I amWalking around the store with a smile , even walked by a staff who ignored me completely.I wanted to get an organizer for my kids room and it was around $300, a plastic one . I would have bought it but the lack of help just made me walk out and made me leave a review . Thanks for the warm welcome !

Very unimpressed. I need to put in a shelving system for my business. After explaining what I was looking for I was told they didn’t have anything like that. I found the product in the store and inquired about it. I just wanted to see a price and figure out what this project would cost. They wouldn’t show me without passing me off to one of their design team. Then I was taken to the part of the store that had some of the parts. The lady on the design team got the rails I would need and took them up front and tried to include a $7.50 4 pack of screws. I told her I had anchors and wouldn’t need them. You would have thought I slapped her. I asked where the shelves were so I could see prices and come up with what I wanted to do. I was told that’s not how it works. I’m sorry, I though it was a store. Long story short if you are a do it yourself kind of person, go somewhere else. Their prices were easily triple that of similar and comparable products that I’ve seen in other stores. The store was very clean and everything looked nice but that’s about it. I’ll give an extra star for effort.

I am from Buffalo NY. I went to the container store in Pittsburgh after getting help designing a closet system locally(unsuccessfully).We talked to the greeter when we arrived( Ann I think)She was very friendly and helpful and set us up with a designer, Marcia.We told her roughly what we wanted and she went right to work designing. She explained different options and we loved her plans immediately. She gave us a rough draft to take home and get exact measurements.We sent back the measurements and they tweaked the design to a better fit.I then called back to make a few more adjustments. Each time the design team I spoke with were very helpful and not at all upset about more changes. We were finally happy with the design and ordered it to be shipped to Buffalo.They kept us informed of the progress and it arrived in several boxes over two days. My only complaint was that the packaging wasn’t very strong or secure. It looked like it had to be retapped along the way. But nothing appeared damaged.All the pieces were correct and cut properly. Along with what I needed to attach it to the wall and assemble.I would highly recommend the Pittsburgh container store for any project. They went above and beyondany customer service anywhere these days. Keep up the good work!I’ll be back! Thank you, Tom and Karen

I love going to this store. There are so many choices to choose from and so many different useful tools and storage pieces to improve your home. Nothing is seemingly cheaply made either. Prices are clutch too.Associates are kind and the layout of the store is easy to follow. Definitely recommend visiting and shopping here!

I was at the Container Store on McKnight Rd on 10/3/20 at 10:36am and the cashier was very rude to me. After I left, I checked the receipt and there was not a survey that I could take about my experience and the cashier's name was not on the receipt. I was just in the same store 2 weeks prior to use my birthday coupon and between then and yesterday when I went back because I needed more Zero Waste Caps, I received another coupon in my email about spend a $100 and get $10 off. I was aware of the offer because I check my email often. When I checked out, the cashier told me about my offer and she rung up my items and said to me, "You clearly do not have nowhere near $100 to use your coupon so maybe next time". I did not respond to her unnecessary comment and after the transaction, I left the store quietly. I have always had a good experience with the Container Store and I love going to this store and I have told several people how much I love this store. I just felt the comment that this cashier said to me was unnecessary and very rude. I hope management sees this and speaks with this employee.

It was okay... Aisles were too small for more than one cart at a time comfortably. Aisles were arranged so they were one way, but no one was reinforcing this and customers were all over the place. Items were very overpriced. Employees were very kind and helpful!

This place has the potential to be a really awesome store. They have so much and a lot of different options. Unfortunately this place is also incredibly expensive. Things that would be simple and cheap items at somewhere like Target were 2 to 3 times more expensive here. Could be worth going if they have a sale.

I love the container store! I get super excited and always end up spending way too much money , but that's not their fault 🤣I wish there was a location in Robinson Township, I would be there a heck of a lot more haha. The store is always clean and organized. Lots of friendly and helpful faces are around to assist! This is a person with OCDs dreamland. When I'm feeling down, it is nice to come here and get ideas on how to get clean and organized, which believe it or not really does help my depression and anxiety. Thanks Container Store!

The store is organized by room (kitchen, laundry, office ect.) There are a ton of cute items and very useful items that you never knew you needed. Prices are high though for some things because stores like office depot, Ross and target offer similar items but less money. The variety here is obviously better with tons of styles and colors

I had an excellent experience buying Elfa shelves 'n drawers from the store on McKnight on the North Side, and having them installed in two rooms. Veronica the professional organizer and Phil the installer were both terrific. The shelves and drawers look great, and are, of course, very functional. Thanks! Edit: Didn't use all the drawers and the return was easy and hassle-free. 10/10 from start to finish.

So, I didn't buy anything on my first trip here but let me tell you this store is an organizers dream. They have so many great organizational tools and products, as well as staff to help custom make certain areas of your house.I loved walking through the store seeing the different items that can simplify life. My husband an I are planning to renovate our kitchen sometime soon and I look forward to working with Container Store and local businesses that specialize in organization to help make my house a simple and fluid dream.
