Water backing up in the basement drain, time to call in a professional. I called Terry’s Plumbing at 7.15am not expecting a live person, ready to leave a message.The phone was answered by Terry who advised that once Allison gets into the office, they will call me back to make arrangements. I received a call at 8am as promised and was advised that someone can come help and would be there between 10-12.I received a call at 11.30 advising me that the plumber will be there soon. Five minutes later Terry showed up and started working straightway snaking the sewer line. He was able to pull roots out but the water was not draining all the way.Terry then advised we call the McCandless Sewer Authority to make sure the main line was not the problem. The MSA crew came very quickly and Terry was still here packing his tools up. The MSA advised the main sewer line was not the problem.We called Terry to advise him and he said the next step is to get his crew there to water jet the line to remove the blockage and roots from manhole side.Terry promised they would be there in the afternoon and we got a call again that they were 15 minutes away and got to work immediately using the camera and the water jet. After 1 hour of work they were finished and the sewer line was unblocked.By following the steps advised by Terry, we saved thousands of dollars that would be needed to dig and replace the sewer line. Later in the afternoon around 5pm Terry personally called us to make sure we were good and that everything was done. Now that is great Customer service.We have used the services of Terry’s plumbing for 20+ years. This plumbing outfit has great customer service, they keep you updated and charge a reasonable fee for their excellent services. When it comes to great service from friendly folks that care for their customer, you can’t go wrong with Terry’s Plumbing

I had a plumbing issue (March 18, 2024)and I called the Terry's Plumbing. The technician arrived at the specified time ASAP. and did an excellent job solving the problem, The tech also spend plenty of time explaining, how to avoid the toilet related plumbing problem. Also' the person I spoke to in the Terry's office was very helpful, compassionate, dedicated and very keen about helping me.

There isn't a more honest, genuine and caring plumber than Terry. I've experienced the others out there who aren't trust worthy but you can be sure that if Terry himself tells you something, it's true. It starts with the phone call and ends with the service and follow up. No need to shop around for plumbers, call Terry's!

We called Terry for a second opinion after being told by another plumber that we would have to jackhammer up our basement floor to run a new drain pipe (for $8000). Terry showed up, took a look, and said, "don't do that. I'm telling you, if you were my brother, son, I would tell you not to do that (spend $8K and jackhammer your floor)." Instead, he said he would show up another day and really snake out the drain to see what was going on. Terry showed up when he said, successfully snaked out the drain, and ran his camera into the problem area. The previous plumber said he believed my drain pipe was cast iron and rusted out at the bottom. Terry showed that the pipe was terracotta and obviously not rusted out. Terry did note that the pipe did not have much fall to it and that it was likely going to be a problem that needed to have an eye kept on it, but noted that the other plumber's solution was no guarantee to work either and was going to cost $8K. And all of this cost $189. So yes... five stars....

Derrick was great, he was knowledgeable and polite. You could tell that he actually cared to fix the problem the best way possible. Our pipe was spraying water in the walls and now its all fixed. It was a pleasure working with him!

I just recently received an inspection report on home, saying a sewer cam was performed as an additional service to buyers inspector stating pipe has cracks slipped joints . Of course I panicked sounds scary having zero knowledge.I contacted a relative sent video no one sees these issues . It was reviewed by a total of 4 people2 being plumbers 1 inspector not close to my area.. Not knowing any plumbers from area no referrals nothing .. ughI needed to contact a local plumber. Randomly I called Terry’s plumbing spoke with receptionist . Told her what was going on , she instructed me to email the video would have the plumber Call me when he got in.I was nervous all day I’ve heard so many horror stories of plumbers.ect.I didn’t know who to call. No one from area.at 3:40 PM. Terri called told him what was going on. He reviewed camera footage.Super friendly, honest informative,nice guy.No cracks ECT .I told him I was willing to have him come out,Take a look pay whatever he needed to do .He said he did not need to come out he has reviewed & would write it up.Happens frequently inspectors make comments to cover themselves.It’s then put on owner to find, ,payA licensed individual to THANKFULLY find out no ISSUES EXIST..Im extremely thankful greatful. for Terry’s honesty .asked how much I owed him?absolutely nothing told me to donate to a church or child. . Thankful there are still honest Good people out there..Thank you so very very much ..

I was worried being uneducated about these sort of home issues, but Terry was on time, professional, and never once tried to upsale or mislead me! My mind was put at ease moments after his arrival. The clog was cleared in less than 10 minutes. Also, upon booking my appointment, the person that I spoke with was very kind and informative. She explained the payment options and scheduling process well (forgive me, but I forget her name). Highly recommended!

We had our laundry room drain backing up into our newly finished basement. We called Terry's Plumbing on a sunday hoping we could get someone out to snake the drain. They had someone here within an hour from the time we called! They snaked our drain and pulled a ton of roots out of it aswell. Super thankful they were able to take care of us on a Sunday and would reccomend them to anyone!

Terrible. Set up an appointment with a 10AM-2pm window. Had to call them at 2:30 when they had not arrived. Finally showed up at 3 after I had to call them. Paid $89 dollar arrival fee. Plumber spent 20 minutes checking for a leak and found none. Charged me $100 for that. Did absolutely no work. I'll go to bed with a leak before I ever use them again.

Terry's plumbing has always done excellent work before. But this particular plumber that came today did not do a good job.This is how he replaced my old pile. Just hanging the new pipe randomly at our celling. And the plumber was standing on our cooler while he was doing his job. Came for a leak in a pip in our basement spent 3 hours fixing billed us. We went to look at it it was still leaking in the spot he "fixed" it. He has to come back now he's opening up the ceiling another foot and fixing something that's not even the problem and charging us another 450$. Not happy at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Quick response times, all employees were friendly and helpful, and the in person walkthrough took no time at all. If you have a plumbing issue call Terry’s first. I called Terrys plumbing when I realized my water heater was on the fritz. The person who set up my appt over the phone was wonderful and very thorough. She also kept in touch with me during the day as she wasn’t sure if they had time the same day or if it was going to have to be the next day.She set me up for early the next morning, and the two men who came to replace the water heater were knowledgeable and quick to install it. No mess either!After a week, I’ve had zero issues and the water heater is working perfectly!I’d absolutely recommend terry’s plumbing for any issues!

Terry’s charges by how much they cut into your wall. The plumber made a mistake and cut too much but they still charged me $800. Then to make it funnier he said he had no idea what the problem was. I had to call another plumber to come fix it since he didn’t know and now have to pay to have my ceiling repaired because they literally removed my entire ceiling without even checking to see what part of it was wet before cutting! I’m in total disbelief they would charge someone $800 for absolutely nothing and being unable to find a problem another plumber was able to. From beginning to end, Terry's Plumbing did a wonderful job! Called this morning because the drain area in my basement was clogged up. The person who answered my call was courteous and quickly scheduled a plumber for later in the day. She then called me later to give me a 40 minute advance notice that the plumber was on his way. Mike arrived on time and he quickly got to work. He took care of my problem, cleaned up the area, explained the issue and the solution and gave me advice on what I can do in the future to prevent the problem from re-occurring. After a sewer trap repair, we asked for Terry's Plumbing to provide a another opinion on what needed to be done next after receiving two expensive estimates advising major repairs. Terry was recommended to us as a very honest plumber. He came by - free of charge - to evaluate the situation. I’m relieved that we checked with him, because he said there was no need for the major repairs at this point. He offered to come back any time if we had questions or problems.

We've had several plumbing issues from leaky pipes, to floor drains backing up, and most recently needing to replace the water line from the street to our shut off. They definitely went the extra mile while working at our house. I will never call another plumber as long as I'm in the area. Terry's customer service from the initial call until the job is complete is outstanding. Unlike other plumbers I have used in the past, Terry and his crew arrives on time, does great work, and gives you a fair and honest price. Terry is the man!! I had a major issue (sewage backing into the basement) I called the office and Kathy so made me smile the moment she said that Terry would be out the SAME day! Terry showed up when he said he would. This was a tough find but Terry did it. His main concern was NOT taking my money!! He was honest and straight up with us! He came out on a Thursday called to check on me on Saturday! Like doctors don't even do follow ups but Terry did personally himself! At this point the issue was a 50/50 fix, he did have to come back out with his cool sewer cam and BOOM found the "cracked" pipe 50 feet away! He called me to follow up again to make sure that my family and i were ok! Honestly Terry @ Terrys Plumbing was a God sent! He was honest, professional and most of all caring!! I am doing a major upgrade of the plumbing on my 40 year old house. I called Terry's to get an estimate on the project. When the plumbers arrived they reviewed the project and confirmed the pricing. While doing the work they found a few other problems. They showed me what was wrong and gave me an estimate. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the items they install. I compared the pricing of the work for the project with another plumbing company, and I believe that I was treated very fairly and got a great value from Terry's plumbing. Overall I am very pleased with the project and would recommend Terry plumbing to anyone.

Rick from Terry’s did a great job installing a new pressure regulating valve and shutoff valve on our aging main waterline. They came out just a few days after my initial call, worked quickly and cleanly, and the final bill was $495 instead of the quoted $685 (more than a 30% savings)! We’ve used Terry’s for decades and have always been big fans of their work. Even Terry himself has come out to the house for jobs occasionally. Great family run company!!

I had a main sewer line back up into my garage and laundrey room. I called Terry's on a Sunday and fortunately he was in my neighborhood. He was at my house in approximately 5 minutes, assessed the source of the problem and had it fixed within an hour. Terry explained everything he was doing and why. I would not recommend Terry’s Plumbing to anyone. We had an appointment scheduled in the afternoon on February 8, and when my husband called to check-in with them on when they would be arriving, he was told there was an emergency, and all plumbers were pulled from jobs to handle. I understand things come up, but it was frustrating that we were reaching out for the update instead of them proactively notifying us that our appointment would be pushed out 1+ days. The individual who came to our house the following day did a great job, but was unable to complete all work that day, so he let us know we would be contacted by the company the following morning to set up the appointment to complete the remainder of the work. The following afternoon, we had not heard from them. My husband called to check in and we were told our appointment could be scheduled about a week later. Given that we were without a kitchen sink and water in our kitchen, he pushed back and asked that the project that was halfway done be prioritized ahead of new customers’ work. He was told by the individual on the phone that she would talk to Terry given this information and get back to us with a date when the work could be completed. It is now April (2.5 months after the initial plumber came to our house and did half the work) and we have never heard back from Terry’s Plumbing for follow-up to complete the rest of the project. Obviously, we were able to hire another plumber to come to our house that following day to complete the work for us, however, the lack of communication throughout the entire process of dealing with this company was highly frustrating and we will never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone we know, regardless of how skilled the individual was who did complete a portion of the work for us.

Today wasn't the first time we've utilized Terry's services, but I definitely need to leave a review, this time. We had a clogged toilet, and no amount of plunger-ing was doing the trick. So, I called Terry's late on a Saturday night, and he was at our house before noon on Sunday. He worked quickly and efficiently, and most importantly, got the job done right. The rates were VERY reasonable, too, considering this was a weekend emergency.Highly recommended!!
