I needed a new cord and apparently a new brush on my vacuum. When I heard the cost, I was in a bit of a turmoil. Struggling financially as all of us are. He replaced brush and just shortened the cord. Very nice experience and I appreciate the fact that I cld keep my oldie but goodie Oreck. Wld recommend his business .

I'll say this - the store & owner Andy deserves a round of applause. Extra satisfied with the service & how he works with the customer as a person & not just another number. I would absolutely recommend & referring people to this store if asked . Wow is all I can say. My Kenmore was at least 14 years old. Don't make the parts anymore. I "traded it in" on a new Royal PROSeries upright. Made in USA! They have a limited selection, but everything they sell (vacuum wise) is made in the USA or Germany. I try very hard to buy USA. Very pleased with how they worked with me to make it affordable to buy this vacuum. Selling customer service is top notch! I also feel good that a bought local and not at Walmart or Target.

I took my Simplicity vacuum in for repair today. He knew right away what the problem was. Much to my surprise I was told to call back in an hour and it would be done. He not only repaired it, it was cleaned and included a new belt and bag. Like new. The cost was very reasonable. I am one happy customer.

I recently got a Pile Height carpet (0.71)and found most vacuum cleaners get stuck from the suction. I didn't want to buy on line to have the same problem mentioned above then have to return it, so I wanted to try it before I purchased it.I looked at the local vacuum places near me and found Supervacuums, they had the highest reviews so I called and made an appointment with Ray, he said, "Bring a piece of the new carpet," and try a few vacuums he suggested. Ray was great and patiently showed me everything about the equipment.I finally went with the Sebo X4, has a pleasant noise and feels well made, it self adjusts to the height of the carpet. It's very pleasant now to Run the Sweeper! ;)

My Eureka vacuum cleaner belt broke and I was not sure how to change it. The owner change it for me and refused to accept any payment for the labor. He was extremely nice and offered to bring the vacuum to my car.The attractive showroom is very neat and clean. He even tried out the belt to make sure vacuum was in good working order. He also sells new vacuums and has a great display area. I plan on recommending him to friends and neighbors.

I needed to get my sweeper hose repaired after becoming clogged and inoperable. Andy and Bob greeted me immediately and fixed the problem in 1 minute. They were great and answered my many questions regarding purchasing a new vacuum. The store is clean and merchandise is displayed for easy viewing. Staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

Can't say enough how wonderful Andy and the Supervacuums in Ross Township is. I brought in a Shark sweeper that had seen better days and Andy let me trade in for a Wonderful Hoover sweeper. The store is very welcoming and Andy, The Manager, is very knowledgeable. .If you have any sweeper issues or are looking to upgrade your sweeper check them out!!

Andy is so nice. I had trouble replacing the battery on my Dyson V6 vacuum cleaner and had been through an ordeal from ordering the batter from Amazon to ordering three different screw drivers, to going to a hardware store. But none could solve the problem. Then I brought it in to Andy at Supervacuum on 3346 Babcock Blvd, he got it fixed for me in two days! I dropped it off on Saturday and I got a call that it was ready for pick-up on Monday. He wouldn’t even accept gratuity so I am leaving a review for his quick service, his knowledge, his advice on choosing the right vacuum cleaner for the size of my residential and if I own a pet. I would give him 7 stars if I could!

Just had an absolutely AMAZING experience today at Supervacuums......Andy is amazing!!! Had a sock lodged in my Shark Vacuum hose. Andy was able to fix it in less then 10 mins.He was super nice and friendly from the minute I walked in the door. Excellent prices also!!! Highly recommend Supervacuums for all of your vacuum repairs :)

I took my Dyson to Supervacuums to get a broken hose repaired. Andy told me he couldn't fix it. He then proceeded to tell me that he hated Dysons and that they were garbage. I wondered why he had a Dyson sign in his window. So I took my sweeper to the Dyson Service Center in Warrendale, not only did they fix the problem, they replaced a broken wheel and a filter. And all of this at no charge! Thanks Andy.

Thanks to their expert knowledge and taking the time to really ask what my needs were (kids, pets, type of floors, etc), they helped me find a vacuum perfect for our needs. I'm very happy with the quality of my new vacuum and their level of service. It's comforting to know that they stand behind their products with a good warranty.

Supervacuums is now the "go-to" store in the Pittsburgh area for anyone needing their vacuum fixed. My experience of dealing with Ian, the new manager, was spectacular in every way. He is very friendly, very well-informed and exceptionally helpful. I wish there was a 6 or 7 to do justice to Ian's service to customers. The outside of the shop has even been repainted! Look no further.

I brought in an old crappy vacuum that wasn't working, and Ian (the manager) let me trade it in for $100 off of a brand new American made Riccar machine with a great warranty and free service plan through the store. It's the best sweeper I've ever owned. I live in the area and I regularly see him carrying elderly people's vacuums to their car for them. That type of customer service is almost non-existent these days. I highly recommend anyone who needs a new vacuum or and old one repaired to bring it to Supervacuums on Butler Street.

In 2013, I bought a small, light, upright vac and a small canister vac (both made by Riccar) from this store. The following account has a good ending so please read to the end. Several months later, I was having difficulty replacing the belt on the upright and took it to the store. I asked the owner if he would please help me put the belt on as I was having trouble stretching it from point to point. He informed me that it would cost $30. I was shocked. I told him that I had purchased the vac from him as well as the extra belts. He didn’t care. So, I went home and never went back. I couldn’t believe that spending almost $700 on 2 vacs wouldn’t merit a little help putting on a new belt. It would have taken him less than a minute.Fast forward to 2019. One of my vacs was in need of servicing. I called and was informed that there was now a new owner, a very nice young man named Ian. We chatted briefly and I told him my story about the belt. He was aware that the store under the previous owner had received very bad reviews online and wanted very much to change that. He informed me that things were now different. He said that since I had purchased the vac there, the repair would cost me only the charge for any parts that were needed. There would be no labor charge. Ian is very personable and eager to please. He loves what he does and appreciates his customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Forget those old reviews. Things have changed for the better.Note: This business was formerly located in Lawrenceville but as of May 2019 is now on Babcock Blvd. in the North Hills.

Supervacuums is the BEST!! A few weeks ago I had a vacuum emergency. We have dogs, so vacuuming is a big part of our life. Expecting company that evening, I vacuumed our upholstered pieces and was ready to vacuum the floors when it suddenly stopped working. I got the manual out and did everything I could find to address the issue, nothing worked. Because we recently moved here from another state, I didn’t know where to go. I searched online and I called the phone numbers in my manual. I was first referred to a company in GA. That store gave me a phone number I thought was from this area – it proved to be for a company in North Dakota! They were kind enough to find a company in my area that serviced Riccar vacuum cleaners, Supervacuums in Lawrenceville.Parking is tricky, we had to walk a few blocks, but I have to stress that it was so worth it. When you walk in, you feel like you’re stepping back in time, partly because it’s a really old, established shop, but mostly because you are welcomed and treated with a type of customer service that you almost never see anymore. Ian, the manger, helped us. He was everything you could ask for – knowledgeable, skillful, friendly, professional, and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. He immediately found the problem, fixed it, showed me what had happened & how I could take care of it myself. He patiently answered all of my questions, and also showed me other features on my vacuum I was unaware of. He helped me select a bag that was more appropriate for vacuuming dog hair, and on top of that, he gave us a discount. A very stressful afternoon became the highlight of my day. The vacuum is still operating beautifully. And it no longer smells of dog when I turn it on. I will definitely return for all of my vacuum needs, and heartily recommend them to anyone seeking the purchase or repair of a vacuum cleaner. Even for the purchase of parts, I will happily drive the 50 minutes and walk a few blocks to give my business to Supervacuums.

The owner was very friendly, quick, and dropped what he was doing to help me with my carpet extractor (something he doesn't even service), and didn't even charge me a penny for the help. I was on the way to a job, and the suction stopped working on my vacuum, and would have lost out on work if it wasn't for them. Highly recommend.

This is really an amazing place! Andy sold my wife and I a super awesome Riccar vaccum that we are really happy with. He is just a fantastic guy to do business with. You can tell he is sincere, honest, hard-working, and really cares about his product and customers. He honestly has made me very excited about this business, Ricar, and vacuums in general. Do not but cheap vacuums from big office stores. Come here and see Andy.

Brought in a Miele vacuum with a tough clog in the hose, and within 15 minutes it was back to working like new! Very friendly, fast, and high-quality experience and I was blown away by the customer service. I couldn't have asked for a faster or easier solution to my vacuum issue.

Purchased a Riccar Series 30 Deluxe upright vacuum from Andy about a month ago. Best vacuum I've ever used during my 70 plus years, and the wife is also extremely happy and delighted with this machine. Well worth the cost. Andy at Supervacuum was knowledgeable and great to deal with. We highly recommend passing on choices at the big box stores and visit Supervacuum.

These guys are simpletons. I dropped my carpet steamer off on a Monday because it had a burnt out brush motor that I didn't want to repair myself. I told them what the problem was when I dropped it off. 2 weeks later I got a call back saying they took it apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I picked it back up and tipped them $10 for their trouble. When I got home I found the brush motor was still burnt out. So I ordered another motor and replaced it myself. That would have been the end of it except I also found they had left the vacuum manifold disconnected upon inspection. When I took it to them to explain what they had done they said they would take care of it. 2 weeks later I got another call back that the cleaner had been "repaired" to which I was charged $60. So basically I paid them $70 break my steam cleaner and put it back together. Morons.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Would give no stars if that was an option. They actually attempted to steal from me. Took my Hoover in for a warranty claim. Guy told me that it would be four weeks which seemed long but I didn't have a choice as they were the authorized repair center. Four weeks later I call to check in and they tell me Hoover hasn't responded and that I could call if I wanted, but I shouldn't tell Hoover that they told me to call. I call Hoover and they immediately send a replacement unit to the store. My vacuum comes with both an upright vacuum and canister vacuum as a package. Hoover customer services tells me that they are sending me both pieces. I show up a few days later at Super Vacuum and the guy hands me the upright, with no box. This seemed odd so I asked the guy if Hoover sent the canister vacuum also. He looks me straight in the face and told me "no they only send the upright when they replace it." I left the store and called Hoover customer service and they confirm that they sent both the upright and canister vacuums. I then made Hoover customer service call Super Vacuums to confirm that they kept my canister vacuum. Hoover called me back and said it was "a simple misunderstanding and Super Vacums had my canister vacuum and I could now pick it up". This was no misunderstanding. He flat out lied to my face and stole the canister vacuum. I will be following up with Hoover to make sure that they are aware that their authorized representative is stealing from their customers.

I took my Hoover in for repairs and while it took a bit longer than I thought it would because they had to order a part, I was very happy with the result. It's like having a brand new vacuum. I will definitely use them again if the future if I need vacuum repairs.

Andy helped us with the purchase of a Riccar R25 Pet Premium and a Riccar Handheld vacuum. My daughter was with me and he let her play with a smaller vacuum and gave her lollipops. He answered all of our questions and showed us EXACTLY how to use and maintain our new vacuums!

I just had my vacuum repaired at this shop. There is a new manager who is incredibly wonderful ! He is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful.He is so knowledgeable that even bought a new upright vacuum.
