Branden in the printing department was wonderful. He deserves a raise. The gentleman at the front register was also very welcoming. My experience beyond that was awful but that was not in their control.

Got some posters printed on their “ultra heavyweight poster” stock — basically printed paper. Save yourself the trouble and get your posters printed elsewhere.

Our nonprofit had an critical presentation in front of a foundation today. The foundation was hearing from 20 nonprofits and would pick 5 to fund. Our nonprofit receives no government funding, so rare opportunities like this are very important. As part of the presentation, we were required to bring images of our projects mounted on foam boards.Despite having quality and timeliness issues at this Staples location in the past, I went to this Staples because it was close to our nonprofit. Before giving them this job, I explained the situation and said that if they were unable to do it on time, to please let us know so we could take it somewhere else. I was assured that they could do the job and our boards would be ready well in advance. I then called 5 more times over the course of 3 days explaining the situation and the importance of the materials, I was told that they weren't ready yet, but assured they would be. Chris, the person I spoke to at 5:15 on the night before the presentation said they would be ready by close of business, 6 PM, that night.I went to pick up the required materials when this morning when the store opened at 9 AM so that they could be taken to the 10:30 presentation.The presentation materials were not ready - but most importantly - NO ONE LET US KNOW so that we could take the materials elsewhere to be printed. We could have taken the file to the Staples in East Liberty, which opens at 8 AM - or to many other locations over the past 3 days - and had plenty of time. The work we do helps our community. Unfortunately, we have lost a rare opportunity to support it due to this Staples failure to communicate over many days.

9 times out of 10 the printing service desk seems understaffed. The few employees that are around often seem overwhelmed by walk-ins - sometimes, they can't keep track of who is first in line, or they make you feel that they are being put upon by the fact that they're having to deal with customers. I went back a few times because their prices were low but I have had enough now and decided I'd rather pay a little extra and get good customer service on a regular basis. I took my business elsewhere and will do so in the future.

Unbelievable customer service at this location in the Waterworks Mall. I found the staff to be highly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was searching for a micro HDMI converter and the selection was amazing. Having in house printing is also a big plus for those needing immediate service.

The one time I wanted to get a flyer printed the guy working it was super pretentious towards me and gave me a tough time. I had questions and he kept blowing them off, just for that I try to avoid this place. I did buy a cool pen there though.

They basically have one competent employee at this location. The one time I had one of the others wait on me, it was a disaster. If the store screws up anything for you, no one in the company (from the management at this location and including corporate) takes any responsibility.

Comically terrible. Spent 40 minutes just trying to get a resume printed. The only 2 people working in the store were trouble shooting for a single customer ahead of me. I ended up leaving in frustration. I won't be going back.

They never pick up the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then they picked up and immediately hung up. "Need to get something done quick?", don't call staples.

They are chronically understaffed, disoriented and rude. The UPS counter is slow and also understaffed. Terrible place!
