Prices are comically inflated. Just look at stuff and buy online cheaper. They were selling a reel for full price that was returned, taped up, and someone had put line on it. This reel is $40 on amazon. Sportsmans selling a returned item for $69.99. I was embarrassed to be in the store.

Great place for all your outdoor needs. Good online selection of firearms that can be picked up in store. Bought a new toy and pickup was simple with a knowledgeable staff.

So I like everything about this place, except for the sections where they have traps and bait. They have excellent service at the gun register. A lot of the gear is amazing. But I’m not a fan of the traps that they sell with dispatch springs not meant for beavers(the only animal that you were legally allowed to use a kill snare on Pennsylvania) and footholds with a jaw spread that is far exceeding the state regulation and has teeth (clearly designed for bears, which are not legal to trap in Pennsylvania). These are not ethical traps to use as they will actually kill or name a non-targeted species or a species that is not allowed to be trapped using that means. Also, they sell a few baits that might promote some unsportsmanlike behavior in the woods. For example, deer bait that looks like dirt. I really want to like the store, but I cannot condone traps that are illegal and equipment that promotes unsportsmanlike conduct. Clean up your act on the hunting gear. You’re better than this.

Had what I needed. That's what you need from a store. Lots of other reviewers seem to knock the staff in this store. I only dealt with the cashier who was fine. Found my own boots from open stock. They were no bargain, but at least the this place had my size to try on (would never buy hiking books without trying them on first!). Would be nice if they offered a AAA discount like Dunham's.

Nice and clean place with restrooms. Good variety of Sportsmen goods as well as clothes , shoes, and boots. A good variety of ammo but a little bit pricey. Staff were very friendly and I was offered help throughout my shopping experience.

In my opinion they are a bit high on prices but have a nice selection of items. I would not recommend selling or trading in firearms. They don't offer a fair amount for your items.

Stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the store was. A lot of products that you don't typically find. That had many items that are highly rated! I will definitely be going back again soon.

Front counter people are always friendly. But the gun counter people are arrogant rude. And act like they know better than everyone but really aren't that smart. I asked for a certain ammo, and i guess I wasn't worth stopping the conversation about stupid customers they just stared at me then continued talking amongst themselves. Do yourself a favor and go to cabellas.

Had an online order get “delayed” because the item I ordered was out of stock. I contacted CS that day to make sure the order gets cancelled and I get refunded. A few days go by and I see my order status hasn’t changed and I haven’t been refunded. Called CS again, the lady this time says the order was not cancelled. I ask her to cancel it. She says no problem. Multiple days later it’s still not cancelled, and I have not been refunded. I planned to buy an alternate item from you once I got refunded however at this point I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Everyone is really nice here. I've had my bow worked on here and it was fast service, a nice selection of ammo, camping, and hunting equipment. Just an all around good store.

This is the only firearms dealer that I’ve encountered in the last 40 years that does not stand behind the firearms they sell - unless you purchase an additional warranty package at an additional cost.Do not buy any firearms from Sportsman’s Warehouse- go to a reputable dealer.

Ordered a fenwick Muskie rod for our upcoming tournament. They took forever to ship and then sent the entire wrong item, not even the same brand. When I called they had no urgency to make it right in a timely manner for my situation. Def won’t be ordering from here again.

I have never been inside this actual sportsman warehouse until today. It was just to pick up an online order. But the store was very nice. Heck, the bathrooms are even nice and spotless! Nice selection of sporting gear. Guns, ammo, accessories, fishing gear, archery gear, and camping gear. Prices are within range of other sporting good stores.

Went for a rod and line. There are plenty of choices, plenty of tackle, but the man with white hair new his stuff about fishing trout. The price was great, too. The rest of the store probably has experts in their area as well.

Stopped in on Feb 19, 2023. My son wanted to evaluate a few target shooting rifles. The first two people I dealt with were excellent. While we were there I saw a hand gun that I wanted to buy immediately. I considered trading in a hand gun that I just purchased, still in the box. The manager was towing a hard line that he couldn’t give me a ballpark trade-in value on a gun that I bought from him less than two months ago. Sorry I just can’t deal with box store BS. I guarantee the 5-6 to gun purchases will be at specialty stores and the general sportsmen items will be ordered from online resources or specialty stores as well.

I stopped in to check the trade in value of a handgun I own with the intent of trading it in on a new handgun. They took my Ohio driver’s license, checked out the gun and gave me a price. I told them I had to discuss it with my wife. I stopped back 2 days later and told them I’d like to proceed with the transaction. They again took my Ohio driver’s license, entered all the information in the computer, handed the gun to me while they finalized everything and just then realized I was from Ohio and they couldn’t sell it to me because I didn’t live in Pennsylvania. Nobody thought to tell me that the first day I was there?

Cashier screwed up my credit application. Sent me mail calling me fraud. 5 hours! on the credit phone today. No one's responsible. I liked your store before you turned my day upside down. With your shady credit company and incompetent cashiers. Stop doing creditcards in line. They say it's fixed and I absolutely do not believe them.

Nice store lots of good merchandise, had a sale on trail cameras really good price on stleath cameras which we use alot . Great store but wonder how long they'll stay in Pittsburgh. Was in Pittsburgh years ago but left suddenly with no explanation, we bought from them exclusively. Will see what happens now . Service personnel very helpful and polite .

Went here to buy a shotgun. Firearms staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they had a good selection and I got a fair price.They offer 1-2 year warranties on firearms, and you get to fill out your background check info digitally which is way better than having to write it all down.No android or apple pay was available during my visit.

Weird firearms selection. Lots of clones (clones of Benelli, Beretta, etc) and who orders guns with ban-state mags? They have a $1500 Beretta 92X on the shelf (one of only 2 higher-end guns they had, the other being a Colt revolver), but it had 10-round mags instead of the usual 15. Whoever is stocking for this store doesn't know the market. Also, I get that it's just a retail store, but the constant rotation for staff surprises me. Don't think I've ever seen the same person twice.

When in to see if they had an item i had been looking for. Was greeted almost immediately and asked if they could assist me. Found the item and they did a quick demo. Used my gift card and took advantage of a $50 discount for signing up for a credit card. Courteous and professional. Out the door with a smile.
