Only shop here if you're buying pre-packaged food, and make sure you check the expiration date before you check out. They won't take it back after the fact if it's expired when you buy it. Also, they lock the doors 15 minutes before their posted closing time so don't bother trying to shop here outside of normal business hours.

Okay for shelf stable staples. I stopped buying meat here after the second time I got home to find the meat I’d bought was smelly and slimy. I also stopped buying produce here when the health department posted signs in the front. The bathrooms are relatively clean and they have a decent beer selection.

This store is a joke. The prices are all higher than giant eagle and the inventory is slim and in some cases non existent. I have lived in the neighborhood two years and stopped going because of how bad it was.they didn’t have chicken in stock for 3 weeks straight. I have returned after two years and my first visit to this store I was disappointed to see they still couldn’t solve the problem of having chicken breasts. How this place is in business is shocking to me. 4 people had to have their orders transferred to the customer service line because you couldn’t buy produce in the service checkout line. This neighborhood is in desperate need of a giant eagle to come in and solve the grocery store presence in lawrenceville.

This place needs to close.... it smells terrible. Could chain smoke a pack of cigs in there and no one would notice. Remember this place got shut down because of rats and don't think they really addressed the problem. Hate leaving terrible reviews but it is sickening being in there. Buyer beware!!!!!!If the news came out with a story and said covid started at this dirtball store I wouldn't be surprised

If Family Dollar or Dollar General were the size of a Wal Mart Super Center, it would be this store; except for some reason, everything is more expensive than either of those stores, and much more expensive than Aldi or Trader Joe's. This place is packed with over-priced, off-brand junk food, with virtually no health foods to speak of (outside of the produce section). No veggie burgers or imitation meats of any kind; they do have almond milk and it is literally twice as expensive as buying almond milk at Aldi (even at Shop n Save's "sale" price, which I assume is a scam where they lie about the original price hoping to mislead people who don't know what things should normally cost). In fairness, their produce seemed fresh with an adequate variety. That's the only nice thing I can think of to say about this place.

Worked there in the past never had a problem with any of the employees. There have been a few changes from when I last worked there. They now sell beer and wine and there is now an on site pharmacy. Also soups are available at the Deli again.

Went to Shop n Save tonight 2-1-23. Looks fantastic. As soon as I walked in, sparkling ! Shopping cart area super clean. Vegetable and fruit area outstanding. Floors were clean. Everything looked great. Great job !

From a county health inspection report on December 15 2022:- Six dead mice found on glue boards under the grocery aisles.- Droppings found on aisle #2, aisle #3, and nuts/trail mix aisle.- Droppings found behind the beer outlet.- Droppings found in the deli, under the steam table.- Nesting material found on pasta boxes.- Repeat violation. Person(s) in charge not inspecting food(s) as required.No improvements as of September 2023 according to a new report 🤷‍♂️

The management is horrible. Very rude and no interest in his position.The Store is in terrible shape even after the so called upgrade.The meat can be questionable and the prices are spiked compared to other shop n saves. The Health Department might want to take a quick sweep around the store. FYI to corporate..Please explain to him a little cleanliness kindness and courtesy can go a long way. I mean it is our coins for goodness sake. Took business elsewhere.

This place has 1 cashier and all the other check outs are self check outs. This is ridiculous, keep in mind 3 of the self check outs are not even on or functioning. And people are having problems checking out at the self check outs and employees have to sit there and babysit them. Bring back cashiers all of your other employees are standing around doing nothing so make them ring some people up and stop trying to get rid of "cash" transactions. The Family Dollar next door has 2 cashiers working so you tell me what's wrong with that picture ?

***** Update* GET THERE BEFORE 9:45!!! You will be rushed out and doors locked at 9:50. Owner doesn’t care about employees closing early which means he doesn’t care about the customers. I have been turned away and have seen several customers turned away at 9:50. Just find a new grocery store or go well before closing. *****Been having to go to giant eagle or Walmart lately due to the store closing whenever it wants to. I used to love this location but Shannon has ruined it for the customers

Health Department proven issues for three continual months!!Edited… Yet another series of proven Health Code violations. This location gets them on a regular basis. They fix it for a few weeks, and then it’s allowed to slide back to the *company line and standard*.How is this location allowed to remain open? Is it not a continual embarrassment to the owner and also the company name?

To the lady standing outside yesterday yelling at people entering the store including myself at 12pm knowing they closed at 1 for the holiday saying and I quote “ WE CLOSE IN 10 MINUTES, IF YOU HAVEN’T GOTTEN IT BY NOW YOU DON’T DESERVE IT. I was already rushing to get In and out but the nerve to have an employee yelling at paying customers blew my mind! This was pure hateful as we have enough of that in the world.

I shame myself every time I go here for something out of convenience. Their prices rival Whole Foods. Their quality is by far the worst. Even the employees say they can’t afford to shop there. Do yourself a favor, go to aldis. Or hell, literally anywhere but this stinky little half stocked, overpriced, outdated hole in the wall.

Good prices but the self check-outs aren't ever on when I go and there will only be 2 cashiers. The kids are nice but the people at the office act like you're putting them out. The selection/variety isn't good. I'd rather drive farther to the one on Rt 8 or go to Waterworks Giant Eagle and pay more.

Sometimes I forget Shopnsave is up on the hill in Lawrence ville...but when I go up there it is worth the trip. The employees especially in the deli and bakery are so accommodating. I wonder though what happened to their store ad? They don't mail it to our 15219 address anymore, this area is Polish Hill and the Upper Hill district, etc...Yes, the front end people are also very helpful and kind.

Low quality standards, deli doesn't wear hairnets, prices marked don't match price charged on way too many occurrences and they don't care to fix it even when you tell them several times about the same dam product! Shady af. Do better sneaky snakes, you cannot be ttrusted and I will not be back.

The young cashiers are all super sweet 💜 and the store is nicely laid out. Beware of the older cashiers, though... The one lady moves slow as molasses, but thankfully she's sweet.. This other lady tho is clearly despises younger people. Don't bother with pleasantries because you'll be met with disdain because she hates her life and probably should've picked another job where she doesn't have to interact with anyone.
