Their dedication and helpfulness have consistently enhanced my shopping experience. Moreover, the younger staff members exhibit a remarkable level of respect and eagerness to assist customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that the commitment to excellent customer service is a shared value among the entire team. Kudos to the staff for making every visit a delightful and efficient one!

First time going here and only went because of their fresh Kielbasa, which is amazing. I only eat it twice a year due to family tradition. I ended up getting fried chicken as well it was delicious. I might have to make a few more stops here throughout the year

Great local store, they have the basics and some experimental items (canned boba tea?). Produce was a sore spot but it seems much better these days. Staff are chill and friendly. This place always has great tunes playing or something delightfully weird...honestly whoever chooses the music could have their own radio show.

During the checkout was able to talk to cashiers, very friendly good conversation. Got to the car noticed the price was ringing up wrong, went to customer service was helpful and friendly. You just don't get that service in much places anymore. It was my first time ever in that store. Definitely will go back. Thank you I appreciate you.

Popped in here by chance as tourists visiting the neighbourhood. Staff were really friendly, picked up lunch/snacks for the day. Quite a bit cheaper than the stores in and around downtown too.

I easily found what I was looking for and customer service representatives were kind and polite throughout my visit. The prices were high but this is nothing new, as these stores are locally owned. It's a great convenience having this store readily nearby as a resident of Mount Washington. I would recommend that any visitors to the city visit the store for quick needs (or long term). Friendly and helpful staff. The new store layout is wonderful and if I ever need a certain item they may not typically carry - the manager will try their best to obtain it.

Horrible. The aisles are so narrow, 2 people can't pass each other. Workers are taking up entire aisles stocking shelves in the middle of the afternoon. Prices are ridiculous. The staff looks and acts miserable. It's a claustrophobic nightmare in here.

The employees as this store are really pleasant and relaxed. I like how they employ lots of teens, you don't see that too often these days. They jam a ton of merchandise in the space and i can usually find what i need...happy they started carrying the Boston Market frozen pot pies 😋. Produce can be hit or miss but that's the nature of a smaller operation. Mt Washington is very fortunate to have such a nice neighborhood grocery.

This store is really an odd little chunk of the earth. As someone who lives up here, I like having it for convenience for quick stops when I run out of something and need it fast. It’s not really a practical store though for your full grocery visit. The selection is limited due to their small space. They do a nice job of prioritizing what to sell, though, so you’ll probably find what you need. However, the produce section is really sad. It’s great for convenience, but it’s worth the drive to another store for your weekly shopping.

Horrible experience with this store!! Ordered 50 pieces of chicken for my sons birthday party on 8/27 and upon serving the chicken we found 2 pieces of blonde hair in it!! One of the guests goes to tear their piece of chicken apart and there was another blonde piece of hair FRIED into the skin. Chicken wasn’t even ready when my bf went to pick it up at 2:00 and to boot the chicken was soggy and of terrible quality. $70 down the drain because after we found the hair in it, no one wanted to eat it anymore 🤬

Its ok here but kind of small and some of the prices are slightly higher than other stores. It is very bright and clean though. I also never have to stand in long lines. Always in and out quickly. I tried their hot foods a few times and it has always been pretty good. UPDATE: 4/27/2021: I was starving and had to grab something quick before work. I can’t stand fast food restaurants so I decided to try their hot food again here at shop ‘n save. I had the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes. Everything was really good surprisingly. I mean the meatballs weren’t exactly gourmet Swedish but very tasty and the mashed potatoes were really really good.

Produce is less than mediocre and is already half bad when you buy it. They won’t return anything if one detail is off, which is not how other grocery stores operate. I tried to return a canopener that i thought was broken because a customer messed with it before i picked it up and bought it. She agreed to return it for me, and then changed her mind 5 seconds later. I had even already bought a new one from the same store days prior and just wanted to return a $9 canopener for the $20 canopener i bought. When you have worked in management of other grocery stores, you can tell when someone is being rude to be rude. I used to come every week because it’s close to my house and now i won’t be back! Don’t recommend!

It's not that I dislike it.. but has lots of room to improve. The produce has been better since the take over from Foodland, but you still have to pick through to find items that are fresh. The staff and manager have always been helpful. I'd love to not have to drive to the East End to find fresh seafood and grains.

Great location. But being the only grocery store in the immediate area for people who don't drive and the elderly seems to mean they can have higher prices and below average quality at times. Wish they had better sales and more variety. Most of the employees are nice and the store seems clean and taken care of.

Please please keep an eye on your perishable produce!! Purchased carrots today that expired in October due to not having my reading glasses with me. Also, a gentleman from produce had to assist me at the deli counter because the owner and another deli employee were too busy talking amongst themselves while I was standing there for several minutes waiting for someone to assist. Otherwise very friendly place and exceptional meat department. Especially steaks!!

Great to have them on the Mount! The owners are clearly trying to meet the needs in this diverse community... have noticed lots of new, house made items recently. Weekend sales are also good. Not a large store, so overall selection somewhat limited.

The store is a little small (which I like but some dont). The parking lot is a nightmare BUT the people make this store great. Always helpful. Always polite and always willing to help. Evan, Bonnie, Derrick and all the girls in the deli are amazing. Theres a few people I can never remember their names but they're all very nice.

So conveniently placed for local shoppers in Mt Washington! The staff are always on top of whatever help I may need! They will treat you with respect and kindness always! So blessed to have this grocery store so close to home.
