Our pooch absolutely loves the peanut butter ice cream. The owner is always very personable and makes sure that every guest / dog has a special experience. They also have a wide selection of supplies + treats to stock up on! Highly recommend for any dog owners in Lville :)

Found this store by accident earlier today, as we walked around Lawrenceville. Stopped in and they had amazing dog treats, toys, dog ice cream, etc. The woman working there (I think her name was Jessica) had lots of knowledge about the products and was eager to help and provide answers to any questions we asked. Was an overall great experience!

Our pups had the best time at Salty Paws!! They enjoyed the blueberry and pumpkin ice cream. They also were given the cutest bandanas! The owner was so kind and the shop is set up so adorable! Will definitely be back at Salty Paws this summer!

So many treats!! The birthday cakes are adorable, as are the other treats (butterflies, flowers, cupcakes, etc). They also have a huge assortment of other items such as shampoo, ear cleaner, collars, leashes, etc. I did not see any bags of food, just treats and chews. They also have hats, crowns, a couple of toys. We did not get the ice cream as we are from out of town and left right after our visit there. We did get the powder ice cream for when we get home. Our dog picked out her own chew. Such a cute spot!! Go check it out.

If you want a fun day out with your pup, Salty paws is the place! The ice cream is of course a bit hit, along with the abundant amount of treats and fun toys and attire to choose from. The owner really creates a lovely sense of community which makes going there even more special.

I love this place, nowhere near as much as my 60 pound Pitt Bull does. Jessica is the best, she treats everyone with the upmost respect. It's cool to have a small spot like this in the neighborhood.

I stopped here back in May 2023 when we had to say goodbye to our boy, Ringo. We wanted to give him a special treat on his last day, so I bought him some cookies and ice cream. The woman behind the counter was so kind and compassionate, and I’ll never forget it. We will be back with our two new beagle boys when the weather gets warmer ❤️ thank you for your kindness on such a hard day ❤️🐾

I explored Salty Paws about three months back with my husband while walking the streets of Lawrenceville sans doggos.This morning, one of my three huskies and I were on an adventure in a park, then to the store. Trent (husky) clearly didn't want to go home yet, so we ventured to Salty Paws.Although it was really busy, I felt super comfortable having my large doggo walk around and explore the store! The storefront has tons of treats, all-natural grooming products, minor supplements, but a lot of freeze-dried chews that my three pups eat as a part of their regular diet! We came for the ice cream. The associate working was phenomenal!! She explained everything to me in awesome detail, as I was worried there may be lactose/fillers/non-dog-friendly-sugars in the ice cream. The associate explained the clean ingredients and I was super excited/satisfied. The ice cream is completely lactose free! There are a couple that have raw goats milk as the base, even.My pup got two scoops of ice cream and there are also "toppers". Trent got freeze dried chicken on top.We sat at a table in the front of the storefront and he enjoyed his ice cream until the last lick. We will 100% incorporate stopping by for all three of our huskies at a regular cadence. Such a unique experience/treat for your pup to cool off!Customer service was stellar, friendly, efficient, professional. We will definitely be back!!

Mac couldn't approve more highly of the atmosphere or the Ice Cream! This was his first taste of ice cream and he loved it. He has a scoop of maple bacon and a scoop of cheddar cheese ice cream.Mac also took home a giant Sweet Potato Chew as well as a Cheeburger Pup-pastry.We'll definitely be coming back!

Jessica is the ultimate guest for you and your fur babies! She loves on the dogs so much and is so helpful and friendly. The ice cream selection is great (love the waffle bowls!), so many unique and different items to purchase and take home including ice cream to make ourselves. We purchased 2 cans of beer and with her suggestion we made ice cubes with a treat inside and our dogs love them! We will be back and anyone that has a furry 4 legged best friend needs to go here! Salty Paws Pittsburgh is Penny and Fred approved!

Salty Paws is great for SOO many reasons. It’s great for last minute gifts for dog lovers , it’s great for people with dogs looking for a fun / dog friendly environment to get together, and it’s a great place for people who don’t have a dog but love dogs and want to see the happiest pups enjoying some amazing doggy icecream. I love this place and the people who run it. They’ve created something truly special.

We came here to celebrate our dog’s birthday. The staff that I believe to be the owner (sorry if is not!) was very nice. The treatment she gave to our dog was much beyond our expectations. She played happy birthday for our baby, gave her ice cream samples and told other customers that was her birthday. Lily was super happy with her kindness.

Been waiting to go to this place since my bestie told me all about it! I took my dog, Maverick, to Salty Paws for the first time and it did not disappoint! The shop owner was so sweet and made the experience what it was. She has so much love and care for all the animals that walk into this shop! My dog enjoyed some ice cream while there, and got to take home a happy dog meal! Please check out this shop whenever you're strolling with your dog on Butler Street!

Salty Paws sells ice creams and other treats for dogs. During my visit, flavors of ice creams included bacon, cheese, carob, peanut butter, banana, blueberry, pumpkin, vanilla, and birthday cake. Toppings included beef, rabbit, peanut butter, banana chips, cookies, steak and sweet potato, etcetera. The cost for ice cream was about several dollars, depending on the number of scoops and if a cone or bowl was ordered. This business also offered cookies, donuts, hides, powdered ice creams, and other products.For my dog, I purchased three flavors of ice cream, one topping, one donut, and one happy meal of assorted treats. My dog enjoyed one of the ice creams, the topping, and the donut. She ate none of the other two ice creams and only some of the happy meal.

This place really has it all - treats, toys, even ice cream and so many flavors. I take my dog at least once a month and I buy him so many things; the treats last a week and I can give them to him throughout the week and he still enjoys them.

I've been coming to Salty Paws for a while now and I love it! They have beautiful cookies that my dog loves and ice cream that my dog inhale every single time. They also sell some other dog treats and stuff (collars, harnesses, etc...).The owner is lovely and both her and the staff are respectful of every dog. I'm trying to make it a Sunday appointment because it's that good!

My dog Dulce’s FAVORITE place! We stop by almost daily (sometimes twice) because she won’t let me walk past without going inside. Jessica is the best and we love visiting her. Dulce loves the ice cream, selection of bones & treats, collars, leashes, and much more. They even have ice cream made with goat’s milk for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Great place for a treat for your dog, as well as picking up anything you might need for your pup. I already can’t wait until her birthday so that we can have our birthday party here!

I was blown away by the kindness of the owner if this store. My miniature dachshund is very wary of strangers and the owner sat on the ground with my dog with a free sample of ice cream until my dog felt comfortable enough to take it from her. The owner was willing to give me a free sample prior to knowing if I was going to buy anything or not. I got so many unique natural treats for my dog that makes me happy to know parts of animals are being used for something rather than being discarded. Salty Paws is a 10/10.

Very cute store. Lots of treats for your dog or cat. Took my dog into the store for Ice cream and the employee let him taste some before he decided on blueberry. 100% would recommend.
