Yes, I'm officially done with this Rite Aid. They have struck out many times with my scripts, but kept giving them a chance. (maybe too many chances) I finally broke down and called corporate. The person on their side of things filled my script incorrectly from the doctor. Then made it out to be like I was inconveniencing them by asking them to correct it. The gentleman behind the counter, was short with me and told me that he was done in 20 minutes and there was nothing he can do. Also that this wouldn't be corrected for 24 hours. This being Monday.So I gave them till Today to get this fixed.(which I shouldn't have to, should entrust they corrected their mistake) just trying to get my scripts transferred to another pharmacy. (Rite on Carson, South Side Works, which they are wonderful) But can not transfer until this pharmacy corrects their mistake.So I called, (which they answered this time) to check to see if it was corrected. WELL, it wasn't. Then started to give me the same excuses they did last time. Till, I told them to scroll ALL the way down on THEIR computer. That's when they saw, that someone there filled it wrong and my doctor sent over the CORRECT script.So now I'm going to wait till after lunch to call my NEW pharmacy to make sure they fixed it, because they told me that they could not text me to ensure this was corrected.Just want to get my scripts transferred and I can't even do that, because of the issues here.I've been getting my scripts filled here for at least 15 years. Its sad to see what this has turned into. Used to be an amazing pharmacy.I went through and read all the reviews about the pharmacy. They all are accurate. Call in a script, to be filled. Not filled until you get there, then are told to wait.

What’s the point of a pharmacy being closed on the weekends? I was sent here from another location to get a medication they didn’t have, so I drove 30+ minutes to get here… never thinking a pharmacy could be closed on the weekend. Also, why would I be sent here if this was so.I walked in and figured I’d purchase something since I drove all this way, but there was one cashier and 7 people in line.I do not recommend this Rite Aid, and to be honest, I think I’m switching to Walgreens. This place has been nothing but a headache.

This used to be a good pharmacy, but I must say with great regret, that it has gone downhill immensely over the last year. The final straw was I had a script called in for a procedure the next morning. I received a text message at 7:40pm that it was ready only to go there and find out they close at 7pm. HOW does that even work??? There level of incompetence now makes me wonder if they can even get the scripts correct (which in my opinion is far more important.) Guess I'll be needing to drive out of my way now to another pharmacy. Truly a shame. :(

The pharmacist is really rude. They never have your prescription ready. You always have to go in so that they will finally do their jobs.They go to lunch from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. We arrived At 1:10 p.m. waited 10 minutes, and then they finally said oh well we don't have time to pull the prescription because we're going to lunch despite the fact that they weren't going to lunch for another 10 minutes.Every time we come here our prescriptions are not ready and we have to come back.They wait until you show up before filling the prescription and it's really freaking annoying and a waste of your time. It's beyond frustrating how poorly the pharmacy is run and the fact that your doctor can call in the prescription but they won't respond until you show up and make you wait.I do not recommend this place with my entire heart. They are rude and unhelpful.

Tried calling multiple times in advance to have my prescription filled or see if it was ready. Nobody answered the phone even though there were 4 people back in the pharmacy area when I got there. I show up to the store to pick it up & they tell me it’ll be a 2 hour wait. If they would’ve answered when I first called, it would’ve been ready when I got there. Mind you, it should’ve already been filled YESTERDAY when my doctor sent the script.

I switched to the rite aid on Banksville road over a year ago because I could not get anyone at this location to answer the phone for me ever. I was in a rush recently and had a script called into this right aid hoping I could get it quickly because it’s closer to my home. I have tried at least 10 times to get through to someone on the phone with no luck. I highly recommend saving yourself the frustration and using a different pharmacy.

The customer service at the pharmacy is abysmal. They always have an attitude no matter what and there's always issues. You call in a script a day before and it's still not ready the next day.

Recently, my experience at this pharmacy has been awful. The male pharmacist is rude, condescending, and lacks empathy. They don’t start filling the prescription until you arrive. My doc sent something days ago and I still had to wait over an hour for them to fill it. They do not answer the phones and no longer send the text to tell you that your meds are ready.

The pharmacy here is awful, they used to be great. They lost my script, not once, not twice, but THREE times. I had switched to medicine shoppe, its become impossible to get your medicine. If you do get your medicine, you feel like you bothered them. They're rude, take forever, lose prescriptions, and are just plain horrible at their job.

Most Rite Aid stores can’t be bothered to answer their phones. But especially this one. Twice in one week I had problems getting in touch with anyone at the store. Most recently my child’s pediatrician office told me that on numerous occasions they have tried to call them and they will not answer the phone and they can’t even leave any messages at the store. Then when I had to try to switch pharmacies and my new pharmacy was trying to get a hold of Rite Aid they said the same thing. No voicemail and no answer. Not only can you not get perscriptions there, they can’t answer their phones so that you can get prescriptions anywhere else. I’m done with this store and will not suggest it to anyone.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They don’t answer the phone, for patients or doctors, then blame it on being short staffed. It took my doctor 4 DAYS of calling to get through to place my prescription. The only way the pharmacy answers my calls is if I call the main store and have someone transfer me and that doesn’t even work much anymore. Today I walk in and they have FOUR PEOPLE working in the pharmacy yet they don’t answer they phone. The lady pharmacy tech working today was super rude and said “they don’t have time to answer the phone”. What horrible service. The only person who was helpful was the white guy with curly long hair (a tech I think). He was professional, dealt with my upset, and filled my scripts. Stay away from this place unless you have no other option.

We have been customers for 10+ years, and over the past year the service has been AWFUL (and that’s being kind). We used to be able have all our prescriptions filled on time, and the staff was beyond friendly. Now, prescriptions are DAYS LATE, and if you call to find out what’s going on, you get treated like you’re bothering them. Think, “How DARE you call and ask about your medication!!!!” times 10. In person, they are even worse. We are in the process of transferring all of our scripts, and we’re done with the Rite Aid brand altogether.

Still having the same problems you’ve been “working hard to fix” in the past year. I’m a physician and find the lack of answering your telephone line to be NEGLECTFUL. There are medications that need to be called in urgently. Please don’t tell me to call customer service as you have told others here. That’s not my job as a prescriber, it’s YOURS as the store manager of a pharmacy.

This is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I didn't say anything when their computer were consistently not working or that they don't answer the phone in the pharmacy. Didn't even get mad when their ceiling collapsed and I couldn't get my meds. Now I'm on my 3rd day without my bi polar meds. They said I didn't have a refill when it clearly states I have one left. Not to mention when you finally get ahold pf the pharmacy some mean lady answers the phone and acts like your burdening them with your business. I have decided to switch my prescriptions today because at this point I'm having problems with my mental health because of their incompetence

First- This location *****NEVER***** answers the phone! Second - They have an older white female that wears glass and pulls her hair back in a ponytail that is *****ALWAYS***** rude! If you don't like your job, find somewhere else to work! The job you do requires you to be compassionate and friendly! You're a pharmacy for God's sake! ****Update***** The new head Pharmacist is very nice and professional. She takes care of the customers. For this reason I'm moving my rating from one star to a three star!

Pharmacy is absolutely terrible. They not only are extremely rude, they just don’t answer the phone. I called at several different times over the course of a couple days and every time I was on an endless loop of selecting to speak to a pharmacy member, then hold music, then the prompt again, over and over and over until an especially kind individual picked up and hung up the phone.

Update: Judy is long gone, and I am now waiting 4-6 days to get life sustaining medication filled. Just like the others, I can barely get through on the phone.Somebody give Judy in the pharmacy a raise, or flowers, or a crown please. She’s always on top of what needs to get done, and stands by her word that she will do what she says. I couldn’t survive without her. I wish I knew the pharmacists name, or the guy with the short bleach blonde hair. They’re also FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable, kind, and timely despite constantly being swamped beyond belief. For every nice thing one person says I’m sure there’s 5 others yelling at them. Hands down best rite aid pharmacy I’ve used, and I’ve used quite a few. I can’t thank you all enough.

Worst most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. The pharmacy NEVER picks up the phone forcing customers to physically go to the store just to ask if a script is ready. But, most of the time it’s not and sometimes the pharmacy isn’t even open during hours they’re supposed to be open.

Simply refuse to answer the phone or just quickly hang up. Had my prescription delivered and the person barely knocked on our door and then left and took the prescription with him. I tried to call to ask if I could just come pick it up or if they could return and drop it off, but no one is answering the phone.

The pharmacist zane has a horrible personality. I know he took some kind of pharmaceutical oath that he clearly does not honor. If this particular rite aid can't handle filling prescriptions- THEY NEED TO CLOSE SHOP!!!!!

This Mt. Washington Rite Aid is a fantastic store & a staple of the neighborhood, frequented by numerous residents multiple times a week.Recently remodeled & updated, this store always has great deals on a very wide variety of products ranging from groceries to health & beauty products.The employees are also top-notch; friendly, helpful & professional. Many of them are on a first name basis with most of the customers, which gives you that small-town feeling in a large, metro-area store.I’ve only had limited interaction with the Pharmacy Dept, but each of those times I’ve had a pleasant, positive experience.I have only good things to say about this Rite Aid. Great weekly sales & their staff always does a great job! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been using this pharmacy for years. After Covid it has gotten really bad. They don’t answer their phone. I’ve been trying to contact them for 4 days now. No answer or option to leave a message for the pharmacists. So sad. They used to be pretty great.

Great pharmacy! Pharmacy staff are always friendly, helpful, and rapidly fill prescriptions. They offer the flu shot and are very efficient with walk-ins. I don't have experience with the store outside of the pharmacy.

No pharmacy. The pharmacist walked out days ago. There's also no way to contact the store ahead of time to know. The phone doesn't get answered. When I went and asked why, the response was that it's the pharmacist's job...and again, there is no pharmacist.
