Never buy gift cards from here. They scam them. It has happen with every last one of them. The store definitely knows what going on with it them they are in on it for sure. I have Activated them literally while in the store tried to use it and within 45 minutes someone else used the numbers to buy something else “online “ so I’ve lost 100s of dollars.

Clean store and well organized. Prices aren’t bad at all and the service is good during check out. And it has a key duplicate machine and lottery machine.

If you have prescriptions at rite aid READ THIS especially if you live in Pittsburgh. Rite aid sucks and is horrible! Don't go to rite aid. ESPECIALLY not the one in downtown Pittsburgh. They literally tried to lie and tell me I can't pay for my meds on the app when that's what I've done every time. Coincidentally it was right before lunch, which I'm sure had a correlation. When I asked why I hadn't received the text yet, the pharmacist on the phone responded that she "didn't know how to do that". When I asked for someone who did know how to help me ( because this has happened before, where i didn't receive the text to pay and yes, I have had pharmacists before resend the message so that i can pay through the app.), she arrogantly retorted that "you can't do that". So then I had to argue with this woman, feverently defending myself to the point of pleading "why would I lie about this!" She had no idea what she was talking about but was treating me like I was lying! I'm putting my rage on here so i can be calm when i go in and to warn y'all of how ridiculous this store is. this is NOT even the first, second, or even THIRD time that ive had issues with rite aid!!! Which is so sad, because I used to be so loyal because my Grandpa used to work at Rite Aid and was a pharmacist for almost fifty years. I'm probably switching pharmacies.

Many items out of stock, and products that cost $3 are locked up and require emplyoyee assistance. Theft must be a huge problem. The writing is on the wall, Rite Aid is going extinct.3/7, update! Theft has become so bad that they LOCK THE STORE during business hours. There's an employee nearby that decides whether or not to open up.A true joke of a store.

This store is bad. Nothing in stock. Unprofessional staff including the kid with glasses cashier worker he got an attitude with me. Vendor had all his drinks on the floor stocking I almost tripped Floors are disgusting no wonder rite aid is going out of business

Good local store for medicines, cosmetics and groceries...they do have a pharmacy inside with a pharmacist.. also have some cookies, chips, ice creams, milk and other small stationary items.. being in downtown convenient store to buy some quick needs..

I used to love this Rite Aid but the morning employees ruined it for me. If your looking for quality items and stock then this is the place for you. I usually come in during the morning shift and the older lady with the glasses and missing tooth is always on the defensive side. On multiple occasions I came in she has given me nothing but attitude. Recently I decided I wanted to change the amount I was doing on a transaction and she immediately rolled her eyes multiple times and even huffed and puffed about it. The other lady cashier just kept staring at me. I can understand her frustration but it was NEVER that serious. You can tell they are miserable at their line of work and it’s sad! As far as the weekend morning crew they were very nice and pleasurable to be around:)

Mary is my favorite pharmacist! She's knowledgeable, caring, and goes out of her way for you. I always have a great experience when Mary is working!Steve is good. But Mary is my favorite.The store is a bit higher priced than most Rite-Aids that I have been to. The design of the store when you're walking it feels a little awkward and unnatural around the front of the store where the OJ, water, and refrigerated items are. Especially with the ordering of the aisles near that. Would expect the water that's shelved to be closer to the refrigerated water. Not 3 aisles over.I also notice that prices aren't found a lot of times in that part of the store. Frustrating. I like to make informed purchases.

The store offers great product availability for how small it is. The one problem I recently experienced and not their fault at all is the screaming matches outside from people waiting for the bus and homeless guys hanging on side of the building begging for change.

Steve is very nice & polite. He administer my first vaccine shot. He gave me all the info to read & look up about covid. I get my second vaccine shot today. I hope he is there to do it. Great job Steve!!!

Anthony and Brittnay was extremely patient with me when I came in for a large return of about 25 umbrellas that I did not need anymore. Any store return like this would be tedious but they made sure it got taken care of me. Thank you two for your help!

I'd give 0 stars if I could. SO unprofessional. I was the 3rd person in line with FOUR employees standing there one of which is hyped up bc he chased 2 girls who where stealing out of the store...I am in there waiting to be cashed out for 10 minutes why they completley ignore the line of people with my 2 small children and this employee is dropping the F bomb EVERY OTHER WORD.This is NOT ok. You should train your employees on how to ACT in a professional setting. You do NOT keep customers this way.

Closed 10 minutes early before publishes hours. Gets two stars for terrible open hours, also this is the 5th rite aid to open downtown Pittsburgh. Would be 1star, but they're trying to offer some healthy options here. It will do better after the Walgreens Aquisition is complete. Maybe even some fresh food for downtown residents.
