I love this Petco. All of the employees that I've interacted with were helpful and nice. There's never a long wait when you need help in the fish department, or when you are checking out. My son loves to watch the employees while they are grooming the dogs. This is our go to place for everything our pets need.

Well I'd like to say I have never been treated so well as a customer in my 53 years. I was looking at filters for my red eared sliders knowing that most canister filters are out of reach so to speak they are pretty hefty in price and of course the one I needed was 350 dollars and I started talking to Bobby one of the employees about different options Ford filters for my 75 gallon tank. My two turtles they definitely can make a mess. So we were talking different options for filters I was mentioning that I was doing my homework online for canister filters so we were talking about regular filters and what I should do so he says to me hold on I will be right back he walks out of the back with a canister filter 75 gallons the one that I need it was surrendered by someone who did not need it anymore thrilled and happy it is nice to know that people genuinely still care about their customers. I could have not been more happy and thrilled of what went on I am amazed. And I cannot say enough good things about the young man at the checkout register the way he treated my son was just outstanding he was the nicest young man my son still has a smile on his face and that was a long and the young girl who gave us our order from online the few questions that I asked her about betta fish my son wants to take care of betta fish and we did not know that female betta fish can form sororities of three or four in establish a hierarchy but like I said I have never been treated so well it never felt so taken care of I'd like to give them people a big thank you and a little big thank you for my 10-year old I would highly 100% recommend this store in Fox chapel there is no reason entirely in the world did you should go anywhere else and I'd like to say thank you to Tisha for answering everything that I threw at her about red-eared sliders about filtration about what they eat just everything in general she is amazing young woman you do not need to go to any other store except for this one for your needs 100 stars out of five

They have hands down the best and most experienced dog trainer in Pittsburgh with well over 10 years of dog training experience. She helped me to recognize issues in my pet that I didn't even notice, let alone to discover I was the root of the issue. If I could give 10 Stars I would.

They have one of the best trainers for your pup at this store. Domnique is awesome. She knows so much about the animals and will help you with anything. She recommends toys based on our dogs bread. She even helps with food. Our pup was a rescue, but she helped us to get him to stop jumping on people, and she taught us how to be better pet owners.

This was the worst grooming experience. My dog looks like a 10 years old child gave him a hair cut .I don’t how a supposedly professional groomer look at my dog and think it’s a good job . Very disappointed

Had an online order and specifically drove to that location for the in stock item. Upon arrival was notified my item was in fact NOT in stock. The manager on shift went above and beyond to rectify the situation as well as another associate tending to the pick up orders.

My hamster, I got from them in 2021 had unfortunately passed away, and thankfully I was able to take it here and they helped me get rid of her little body without a fee. It was an easy process. I saw a very pretty bird, but the price was very expensive. I would've taken the bird home right then if the price was so high lol. They didn't have any cats but they had a decent amount of small animals like mice, hamsters, and I saw 2 guinea pigs. They had a good amount of the small birds and different kinds of fish. And turtles. They have these fishes that are so colorful they look like they glow in the dark, pretty cool. From what I seen they have a pretty good amount of selections for whatever animal you may have. For me personally when I got my hamster, I shopped there once for all her needs to take her home but anything as far a food and bedding I went to Walmart, so if you're tight on money find a cheaper store for your pets needs but if you got it like that, by all means spoil your little family member. I want to add, there was no negative experience. Everything was good.

I went into Petco to get dog food not too long ago. When I was about to check out, I saw the cashier talking very unprofessional to two ladies in the store who seemed to be just clients. The cashier seemed to be talking very much about someone loud enough people could hear her in the store. People were also running up to the front of the store that worked there like there was going to be a fight or something. I'm very sad that I had to experience that. I will not be coming back to Petco sadly because of how unprofessional that was that day. One of the groomers kept saying very loudly that she wouldn't be able to groom her dogs, and it was someone fault. She looked very upset and looked very unprofessional the way she was dressed. I told the ladies I would write a review on the store because I used to come to Petco in Fox Chapel and never seen or heard anything bad about them until that day.

They don't allow you to hold any of the animals unless you are buying one. Well how are 8 year old children going to know if they can handle a pet if they can't hold them prior??? I will go to a different pet store when I purchase a pet for my Granddaughter.

Went in here this past Saturday night to buy a snail for my fishtank. We were there around 45 minutes before they closed. The associate who helped us was so kind and so passionate about the animals and it made me so happy to see. I really wish I could remember her name because she was extremely knowledgable, and was able to answer all of my questions! I was so happy to see an employee who truly cares about animals.

The vet they had at the clinic today was a nasty old hag. It's a shame she ever choose a career in animal health. I will have to find a new place for shots, food and toys because a company that allows someone like her to work under their name will never get another dollar from me.

I've only recently had reason to shop here and it was my first time going in after driving past it many times. Seems reasonably clean, well stocked, friendly workers. Prices are what they are. A little high for some stuff compared to Amazon, but you can at least look at the items before you buy. I would definitely go back and update my review if there is reason to.

Fairly clean and has most of the pet supplies I need. They let you bring your dog in, which is always fun. I always have to wait awhile for help at the fish section, so I frequently do not end up getting the fish stuff I need, but everything else is pretty good. The cashiers are always really nice, which is a big bonus. I'd drive extra to see a smiling face than go somewhere closer to get scowled at in a dirty store.

If I could give them 0 stars I would... i came here to get fish at 6:20pm asked if we could get some gold fish that were only 20 cents... asked the employees if we could get two and they told us they don't sell pets past 7. It was not even 6:40 yet. Then they asked if we have a big tank which we do we have a 75 gallon but they refused to sell us the gold fish and told us we could get a betta instead. Will not be back.

the employees were helpful, the organization of everything seems flawless. I love walking in to see such cool beings. the only problem I had was the question, your computer asks ... it could have another set of words to ask that same question. Idk just remember thinking why did they ask it like that. I gave a few but, I would of liked to give more if I could of... little upsetting _ on the other hand the cashier lady was so nice and fun to talk with! very informative made the whole experience enjoyable overall.

Friendly and attentive 😃My daughter had adopted a kitten 2 days prior. The employee asked how the adoption was going. She was genuinely interested in my daughter's response. The store was clean and tidy. Definitely recommend it to all animal owners.
