We stopped here for the first time on a dog walk. The owner was super welcoming and friendly. Our dogs were overwhelmed by all of the delicious smells! We bought a couple different types of dog treats and some on the special cat sticks. The animals love them! Definitely recommend checking this place out!!

This is the best pet shop around! Freyja loves going in and getting special treats, and Amber, the owner, is super knowledgeable. The rest of the staff are very kind and helpful! The self serve dog wash is great, and the nail clinic on Fridays is fantastic. If you haven’t checked them out, definitely make a stop!

Amber and her team are fantastic. You can tell they truly care about the experience of not only the pets but the customers. We took our golden doodle, Goldie, for grooming and she came back beautiful and happy! Recommend their variety of clean products and especially love the self service bath and blow dry.

I have the Piiiiiickiest cat ever. She doesn't like a lot of foods out on the market and has gastrointestinal issues. Miracle she ate the Science ID stuff the vet recommended but still occasionally vomited.Amber is extremely knowledgeable and cares about your animals dietary needs. We decided on trying a couple different samples to see if Pepper would even take to the food.I brought the bag home and she was alllll over it. That has NEVER happened, she's 7. Decided to have her try the duck first (duck and then chicken, her normal feed). She DEVOURED it. That sold me. Thank you Amber!!

First discovered Pet Wants from the Hilton Head location and bought a variety of products for my dogs to try. So happy that there’s also a Pittsburgh location that I can conveniently order from and have items delivered to my door. My dogs love all the treats and supplements, plus I love that they are clean, healthy, and nutritious. Amber was very accommodating and communicated about any delays and substitutions to my order. You typically don’t get that from most businesses, so it’s extremely appreciated. Super fast shipping as well. Can’t wait to continue ordering from Pet Wants South Hills.

I can’t say enough good things about this pet store. The owner Amber is so incredibly nice. She’s so helpful with everything . Buster loves his treats and chews from here,we make a regular stop once a week to get his goodies. He knows the Pet Wants bag and barks till he gets a treat. I’m so glad this business opened up near us. If I could give 10 stars it wouldn’t be enough. We need more people like Amber in businesses. Thank you so much Pet wants! You have a customer for life.

I've been getting Petwants for a while now. I absolutely love it. My 7yr old has always been a picky eater on top of having food allergies. Usually the foods I find that he likes and can have are not available in our area. I discovered petwants while I was in SC visiting. I was very hesitant to try it because I didn't want to have him try a food and not be able to get it back home. That's when I learned there was also a pet wants in the south hills area! My 7yr old loves his food so much he does circles waiting for his bowl to go down. I'm haven't had to play the how long will he eat this food guessing game. The dry dog food is fresher than any you can buy in the store. I highly recommend petwants and as soon as the vet clears our newest pup she will start the transition to petwants as well. Last thing I will add, not only is the food is amazing but so is Amber the owner/operator of the south hills petwants. I am always able to reach out to her and if she notices an error with your order she will reach out to you. This was the first time I've actually picked up my dogs food because I thought I didn't have enough to last the weekend and I loved her store. You can't go wrong and your not limited on what you can buy the food is sold by the pound. Reach out, stop by, give it a try she offers samples and will explain how the food is made and is always willing to answer any questions you may have.

Our dog loves the food and treats from Pet Wants. The owner Amber was able to recommend the best mix based upon our dog's dietary needs, age and weight. She is super hands on and even provided a dog-friendly calming balm when we mentioned our dog's anxiety. The app and website make ordering seamless and allow for quick processing/delivery times. I have two Siberia huskies and other store dog foods made their fur rough and a friend told me what he feeds his dog, so I tried it and they love it. I asked the vet about t and they said that it sounded good to try it. And my boys love it. Their coats are very soft and people Williston say that to me plus a lot more advantages. Try it, your fur baby will love you for this food plus a lot more good stuff for a cat or dog 🐕

Highly recommend this company. "Pet Wants". They just moved one of their locations to Brookline and I saw the storefront yesterday.I literally just ordered a 10lb bag of dog food last night on their webpage and it was just hand delivered right now, super fast! And it came in such a cute bag (zippered)!They have cat food also and treats. I ended up getting the 'Senior' version of the dog food.Check their website out. They r all natural; no fillers and make the food in small batches.Thanks!UPDATE: and my dog loves it 🐶 🙂

Couldn’t be more happy with Amber and her husband’s service to accommodate our furry friends on such short notice. We have been Pet Wants Customers for 5 years now. Our normal contact for our Pet Wants Food had a very unfortunate accident. And due to this can’t fill orders at this time. These guys jumped right in and even delivered right to our front door personally hours away cause they where passing through town. Couldn’t be more happy with all the amazing customer service that we have, and will continue to receive from all Pet Wants Store Owners!!😃😁😀😁

Visited today while on a walk with our pups. The owner was so friendly and our dogs were enthralled by the smells and all the options! We picked up a few things for them and for the cats at home too! If you're like me and don't always carry a wallet on walks they take apple pay and google pay which is super convenient! We didn't use them but they have dog washing stations available too!
