The best groomers around! These ladies took awesome care of my dog for nearly 12 years. They were very accommodating as he aged. He looked great and they did a wonderful job each time. We will not go anywhere else when another four-legged fur kid joins the family.

First thing they want to take the easy way out and shave your dog instead of a proper groom. They do not pay attention to appointment times. I brought my two there reluctantly today for their appointments and was told “ they didn’t have one”, when in fact their appointment card said otherwise! I told them we would not be back, her reply was, “ok”. Your pets deserve better!

This place is great with your pets. I used to take my lab/rottie Connor there, and now my I drop off my fur nephew Wiley for his pamper day. The prices are very reasonable and they are great with high energy dogs. They also send him home with a cute bandana.

I took 2 of my young Cavaliers to The Pet Stop this morning, 12/15, for them to get ready for Christmas 🎄.They did a wonderful job with both of them! They exceeded what I told the groomer to do with them! My sweethearts look, and smell amazing!The groomer took some hair off my tricolor girl, below and she looks terrific! I haven't had my Cavaliers back cut in years, but I would have them do this again with my girl!I love how they both turned out!!

Called with little time until closing (something I usually do not do) and was told if I could get there in 15 minutes they could cut the dog’s nails. I was there and the dog’s nail were cut. In and out with pleasant greetings. The dog is not the easiest dog to trim, but it wasn’t an issue. Thank you, Pet Stop! Next time it won’t be last minute.

I have been taking my long haired cat here every couple months. She is very grumpy when getting groomed so I highly appreciate their efforts. Only complaint is when I call to make appointments the receptionist seems very busy and short with me. Not the most friendly tone with customers. Otherwise they do a great job and I'm so happy they groom cats as well as dogs. I pay about 35 (no bath) everytime definitely worth it!

Location is good. Grooming is awesome but they take on too many pets at one time without enough groomers. The owner likes to argue with people and doesnt like when you call to check on your pet. The customer is never right, no wonder why she loses groomers. She has no patience for pets with issues or people for that matter. My dog gets car sick and is afraid of groomers because of a bad experience. They dont want us back. Thats ok Im afraid of how they will treat my dog after our last experience. ✌️

Had to have our daughters dog bathed and groomed asap. The staff at Pet Stop was quick and friendly to me and our pet. Pricing was great. By the way, we are from Michigan and they new we were just passing through. A lot of places would have taken advantage of that but these people treated us like we were their best and oldest customers. I would recommend Pet Stop to anyone that needs professional courteous service for their pet.

I have been searching all around Pittsburgh for two years since my last groomer retired. I have gone to MANY groomers in the area. This is now my 2nd time taking my two dogs, a shihtzu/bichon and a cockapoo, to Pet Stop and I am so happy with the results. They truly know how to cut and style small dogs.They have looked amazing every time. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the cuts are high quality. I am so relieved to finally have found a new groomer - I would recommend them to anyone!

Pet Stop is a wonderful pet grooming facility with equally as wonderful employees. I have gone to other pet groomers over the years and they could never match the skill and excellence that I experience every time my dog goes in to be groomed. In addition, they are kind and respectful to the animals and always greet me with a smile.I cannot express the high regard I have for the owner, Suzie, and the main manager, Rosie. I love them and Pet Stop!

We are visiting friends here in Pgh. & our goldendoodle needed groomed very badly. They did a GREAT JOB! He was extremely long and dirty from our trip across the country (we are from New Mexico). He gets regular grooming at home, and the groomer at Pet Stop did exactly what we asked for at a very reasonable price. I recommend Pet Stop highly!

I have been using pet stop for around 20 years. Have taken 3 collies and one German shepherd in this time. Have never had a complaint. Everyone of my collies have had skin problems and get special oatmeal bathes. They have always looked fresh and smell fantastic when we pick them up. As for my German Shepard she is skittish but Sue (the owner) always is gentle with her. I would not use any other groomer and would highly recommend them. Pricing is very reasonable

Excellent staff. I have used a couple of different groomers there and they are all good. I like Audrey for my dog. She does an wonderful job. The price is fair too. It allows me to tip my groomer a little more.

I've been taking my dogs for over 20 years. Susie the owner is great. They are all nice ladies. Stella always comes out smelling good. She has acute bow and bandana.

We are never quite sure when these people are open. We come at all different times of the day and they’re always closed. Get the sign says open. The one or two times we have caught them open. They were very nice and treated our pet with the upmost respect in love. However, I have to go somewhere else most of the time because they never open maybe that needs to be addressed.

Terrible service. They cut my dog's toenail way too short and never told me. Happened once before but not this bad. After I got my dog out of the car when we got home, there was blood everywhere! Contacted them and they said next time we can grind her nails for extra $. The front desk (not the owner) called the next day to see how she was after I emailed them a picture. They offered $10 off next visit and then were offended when I said I'd never return. The front desk lady was so rude. These people lack compassion for animals and people. Don't go.

My dog is older, and not in good health. I had an appointment for a grooming. On the morning of the appointment, my dog had an issue that took us to the vet. She was treated, and I pointedly asked the vet if it was safe for her to be groomed. The vet said, yes. I took her to this groomer, and foolishly told them my dog had been ill. They refused to groom her. They said if something happened, they couldn’t take that chance. What did they think would happen? I didn’t expect them to do CPR on the dog. Were they worried about liability? She’s a dog. She doesn’t have an attorney. The vet said it would be ok. Are they vets? Do they know better than the vet? I happen to believe that even older dogs in poor health are worth keeping well groomed and comfortable. I came home and got on the phone. I found a groomer willing to work with my dog. I explained that she is old and in poor health, like I had at this groomer. They assured me that they work with the dog. If the dog gets agitated, they give her a break. If she gets too agitated, they will call me. That’s all I ask. I would be willing to wait on the premises if that’s what it takes. My dog is very docile and used to being groomed. She’s a 12 pound dog, no threat to anybody. I just need my dog to be comfortable. She’s old. She’s not dead. I won’t use this groomer again.

The staff upfront and the groomers were wonderful. But upon arriving home, the dog had obviously not been completely bathed, ears were dirty, he was shedding everywhere. And this was after a full groom. One of his nails was cut so short they were unable to shave it down, so it was easily caught while he was walking and cracked in half. He was bleeding for over 20 minutes and had to be tended to at a vet.But the reason for this review is the interaction my wife and I had with the owner, who hung up on both of us multiple times while trying to figuring what to do. She lied about my wife "screaming at that staff" while on the phone, which was not true because I was standing beside her while she was taking.She refused to refund and only talked about her "2500 loyal customers" and how she has never received a complaint.Please do yourself and your animal a favor and never go to this poorly run establishment.

My dog and I love this place. Audrey keeps him looking his best and he comes home happy and content. Since he's a Shih Tzu his facial grooming is complicated but Audrey does a great job.

Went here for almost a decade. Good service and my dog seemed happy when he came back. Guess they hired some new people. Decided to find a new groomer after one of my dogs came back poorly groomed. The one groomer looked high and did a horrible job on my dog.

Been a customer for about 4 years mainly because of price and location but the front desk woman is a little rough sort of like a truck stop.. why does she always have to talk so fast when you call for an appointment?? with her temperament, i always wonder what's going on in the grooming room..

Love this place! Its the only place my dog doesn't freak out when he has to get groomed! As far as people complaining about their dogs toe nails, It happens! Its happend once or twice , but lets see you clip a black toe nail!
