My husband and I stopped in for lunch today as we were in Millvale for a trip and really wanted a good sandwich. The Nova Cafe did not disappoint! I got the triple club, and my husband got the NY style deli sandwich, and they both were absolutely delicious. The meat, cheese, and breads were super fresh, and they had tasty, snappy pickles. As a bonus it was something called "Souper Sunday", and we got a free cup of soup with our meal! I got the corn beef, cabbage and potato soup, and my husband got the chicken noodle soup, both were homemade and tasted incredible. To top off the great food, the service was so friendly and fast, and their prices are phenomenal! If we find ourselves back in Millvale, The Nova Cafe is on our list of places to return to!

Amazing experience! Food is absolutely delicious. Me and my wife got the Reuben w/ fries and I got the club and couldn’t believe the quality! Especially for the price which I dare you to beat! Also very nice and sweet staff that even gave us some free fruit. Just a sweet little hole in the wall. Don’t skip out on Nova! A+++++++

This was my first time there and I love it! It’s simple and super good. I had a corned beef sandwich and it hits different than an average cold cut sandwich. Plus the people who work there are incredibly friendly and sweet. I’ll be back for sure :)

Went there the other day to get breakfast, and was just expecting it to be like most places that serve breakfast. I have to say, that was The best omelette I’ve ever had. I got the Western Omelette and it had so much flavor to it. Not sure what they do different, but whatever it is, I wouldn’t change it.I’m just pet sitting here in Millvale, but I’ll def be back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.It may not be the most modern looking place inside , but I’m only going for the food.

Great hole in the wall! Standard deli food, def worth a stop. Upgrade to the fries and cole slaw, it's only $2 and so worth it!Vegetarian options: 2 vegetarians, we had a grilled cheese and an egg salad - both great!

It's a little deli on Grant St. That serves sandwich and salads. We had the Ruben and fries also the mushroom Swiss burger. The Ruben was very good and the burger was ok. We also had the fries and they were also very good. Best of all was the price. Visit this place and keep these small dinners around

My son and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Nova Cafe today. The grilled chicken salad Buffalo chicken wrap were great! Definitely going back soon!

Chicken, rice, veggie and the clam chowder were amazing on a cold, snowy day.All deli sandwiches and special rueben hot dog were delicious as well.Great prices, great service. I'm going to come here more often!

The lunch we had was great. Hubby had a terrific burger & my chicken salad was delicious. Staff was courteous & helpful. Not a fancy interior but clean & comfortable. Will definitely return again.

We went there after burying my Dads ashes. My Dad grew up in Millvale so I thought it appropriate to eat in Millvale. Because we had a large group there were no tables available together but a group of men ( who knew my Granddad) and a lady from another table moved so we could seat together. It took awhile to get our food since they were very busy but it was worth it. The food was very good. I would go back again. The young man serving us was very nice and accommodating.

Like it .... don't love it. It's better than some chain joint but not necessarily home made. I'd go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.I got a breaded shrip basket that seemed to be just fried, pre-made fries and shrip. Pickle was pretty good. ??

Not much of anything if you’re a vegetarian or gluten free. Even the fries are coated with a wheat coating. :/ The Staff was super nice and helpful and the NY hot dogs and tots were good.

Breakfast all day, cooked to order. Homestyle neighborhood deli/restaurant tho menu is limited. Fast, friendly service (although we were the only patrons at the time, early afternoon).

food was absolutely horrendous, both the owner and one of the employees smelled like booze and we’re definitely tipsy, and charged me $17 for 2 items. Do not eat here.

I worked for Chris when Nova was in Lawrenceville. The owner is just as pleasent now as she was way back then. Her employees are all very friendly. I swear it rubbed off of her on to all of them. There is a nice deli for cold cuts and a few tables to sit for breakfast and lunch.

Really great little neighborhood cafe with excellent comfort food, always fresh and home cooked. Their fried fish sandwich and chicken bacon ranch are favorites.

Waited for over 1.5 hours for breakfast food and had to leave because it never came out. Server kept saying it’s coming out soon but never provided why it was taking so long. The place was not busy. Also he refused to bring us glasses of water and insisted that we buy bottles, while the table next to us all had glasses of water... maybe they ran out of cups? Terrible experience. Paid for the coffee that we had to self service ourself and left after and hour and a half

I attended an event today and Nova Café was the caterer. The food was beyond great! I would highly recommend for any event!!
